  1. His noodle must be powerful! It says so on his sword.
  2. I actually wanted them to kill Karen Page and keep Ben. I just wasn't very fond of the actress or the character as portrayed and his actor was a lot better. I loved her in the comic books, but she's way different here. Ironically, I loved Elektra, especially in the early comic books, but I thought they playedf the spoiled, entited rich girl way too hard. It was hard to watch at first, and she was good as far as the martial arts, but not as good as the books portrayed. I kind of felt like people just sort of kept coddling Karen and giving her stuff because she was the blonde girl. I didn't buy her worthiness. Or any promise as a journalist.
  3. This might have been his best speech ever as King, too..
  4. It's possible whatever army Riverrun has could join up, with Edmure in play, especially once the Lannisters leave with Jaime.
  5. No, the names of the kids were mentioned on the show.
  6. Because none of us believe Lyanna was that stupid. We still don't have the real story of how they got together. People are still assuming the worst.
  7. Just a quick cut of Royce seeing Sansa privately would have been more than enough exposition. They misused Royce again.
  8. Sansa won her over, when she didn't back down or get squirelly when she was being accused of things in Arya's room. She'd won her over when she received the dagger.
  9. I have no hate for Arya at all. I am a little tired of all traditional female behaviors being blasted all the time, though. And I think Arya's full of it to suggest that Sansa had any greater ability to act and save people than she did.
  10. Tormund may be only able to operate one head at a time. I'll excuse him that he has some trouble making his advances wanted, as the show has pointed out with practically everyone.
  11. I don't know if anyone thought about it, but Sansa was raped and held in her own room. It's possible Jon didn't want to leave her in there. As far as whether Sansa should be thanked or not, she led the effort to get Winterfell back when Jon had no direction or desire to do anything at all, and she did use all the friends at her disposal to get the Vale army there. If Sansa had not asked, very likely Winterfell would have been taken for the Crown by that same army.
  12. Yes, I think it would be simple enough for an Aristocratic girl who gets in the mud and muck and runs around in nature to have been told which plants not to eat, much like we're told very young which things under the sink not to eat. It's not that hard.
  13. She wasn't just a captive at that point but a member of the staff. And given a postion of trust to taste Tywin's food and drink, to check it for poison. No, she did know Jacquen was a killer at that point and could have asked. And most people who had been in a medieval kitchen which would include even her, would have a clue of how to do a few basic poisons, some equivalent of putting a little cleaner in the coffee. Not that hard.
  14. Well, yeah, actually, sort of. First of all she was talking to Jacquen at that point, so she could have asked, but I'm sure there's some equaivalent to rat poison around. Not that hard.
  15. Exactly. If Sansa didn't believe she was doing the right thing for everyone, including Jon, she would have blinked, and ;looked like she was trying to get away with something. She lived because she played straight, the way her dad would have.
