On paper Jordan seemed like the obvious winner, with Lindsay being 3rd/4th/3rd/2nd in the last 4 seasons. Plus he was in musicals. Though Sharna previously had an even better streak with 3rd/2nd/4th/2nd. Wonder if they'll push her to a win before the decade ends.

No, that's share. -46% makes sense. Last premiere was down 28%, and I'd assume the Friday move would exasperate it by about half, so I would have thought maybe down 42%. -46% vs. last season's low would give us 0.4 for this season's low. Which is at least better than 10 Days I assume, given that show's 0.5 premiere.

In the last 35 years i.e. Moss's lifetime, the only other Drama that won Series, Writing, Directing, and 2 top acting awards was...The West Wing season 1, with a recurring turn by our very own Elisabeth Moss Well, so far no Netflix Drama Series has managed even a running total of two broadcast Primetime Emmys...

Media: Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Makes The News!

To be fair, all the network comedies combined won a total of one Emmy - Big Bang, for Multicamera Comedy Editing, which is the last bastion for only having wins for scripted network shows. -

I rooted for neither side. I guess one could argue that as being split. -

Hmm, if a big chunk of the episode is a battle that doesn't make a big difference in the big picture, I'll probably find it unexciting. Looking forward to the sister reunion though. -
Ratings and Scheduling: Who's the fairest of them all?

It is summer, but still, ABC drama development is bombing. Somewhere Between is their latest 0.3. Non-Saturday 0.3s so far: American Crime x2 (Sun), Still Star Crossed x1 (Mon) moved to Saturday right afterwards, Somewhere Between x1 (Tues), You the Jury x1 (Fri) cancelled right afterwards. Not sure if it's a sign that their new fall shows will likewise bomb hard enough to make this show look decent, or that ABC dramas are just continuing their freefall as a whole (minus Grey's Anatomy). -
Officially she did not kill Bethany, MelissA did.

So both Lindsay and Sharna have had 4 T4 contestants and 3 T3 contestants without a win. For those seasons, their contestants' ranking in average judge scores: Lindsay - 6th, 3rd, 3rd, 6th Sharna - 5th, 2nd, 5th, 2nd So I suppose Sharna has had better partners. I wonder if one or both will get an Obvious Contender next season, as I personally hadn't ever heard of either of their partners this season.

Surprised, given how Lauren dominated iTunes. Chris's fans must've been significantly higher outside of sales. I think the producers are happy with how things turned out with an Alicia win. After 12 seasons, Blake still has 50% of all T2 contestants. Quite impressive. (The others: 5 Adam, 2 Christina, 2 Usher, 1 Alicia, 1 CeeLo, 1 Pharrell. 0 each for Shakira/Miley/Gwen.)

I wouldn't say "amazing" as all have fallen below a 1 this season, but they do okay probably because their overall audience is old, with between 15% and 18% of their audiences being in the target demo. Once has 37%. ...Anyway, ABC is scrambling for desperate looking options to replace their Flops. American Idol, DWTS Junior, Bachelor in Winter Paradise (FOUR Bachelor shows?), Grey's Anatomy: Seattle Fire. They do not seem happy with what they have. -

Grimm was at 65%, 77%, 75%, 68%, and 62% of the network average for the seasons. Once is currently at 76%, so its worst is around Grimm's best. Hannibal's ratings were terrible throughout. I can't see 'success.' -

So the show dropped by a third this season with the same timeslot and the full cast. How far will it drop with a move to Fridays and a fraction of the cast? Maybe they want to make Quantico look like less of a disaster in comparison. -

jjjmoss replied to Serena's topic in Once Upon A Time
Well, Once's ratings, again, are non-terrible on the very sliding scale of ABC dramas. Quantico is...um...a show that got 28% retention from Bachelor, 35% retention from DWTS. Shield got about 82%, Designated 90%, Once was about the same as its lead-in. -

Half hours 0.891 (0.930 .. 0.872 .. 0.892 .. 0.870) .891 is exactly tied with NBC's 10 o'clock finale for Shades of Blue. -
I find it amusing that NBC poached them before ABC's reboot could get them. The only other notable name really is Carrie, but with how well her career's going I can't really see her spending a season as a judge on either show.

Voice is Monday and Tuesday. They'd be absurd to move the overperforming Wednesday comedy lineup or Thursday drama lineup. Friday is too low-viewed to have all that effort to get the show. Sunday makes the most sense. -

It feels like if they paid all that money for Idol they'd want to pair it with something with more potential. ...I suppose that the comedy cancellations should make the renewal less surprising. People expected an extra expansion of comedy hours to reduce on their poor drama slate, but ABC ended 4 comedies including Last Man Standing - which is an actual success - cuz its price tag is getting so high. -

Well, it is still ABC's #5 drama because ABC has such poor drama development. -

Prelims, retention out of AFHV was actually down. 76% rather than 80% as the last 2 weeks.
