  1. Blake continues to have exactly 50% of all t2 contestants in the run of the show (13). 6 Adam, 2 Usher, 2 Christina, 1 Cee Lo, 1 Pharrell, 1 Alicia. 0 Shakira, Gwen, Miley, Jennifer.
  2. Doing great on critics' Top 10 lists so far: http://www.metacritic.com/feature/critics-pick-the-top-10-best-tv-shows-of-2017?ref=hp 1 The Leftovers (HBO) 5 3 5.5 26.5 2 Twin Peaks (Showtime) *3 3 5.5 20.5 3 Big Little Lies (HBO) 2 2 9 19 4 The Good Place (NBC) 1 2 10.5 17.5 5 The Handmaid's Tale (Hulu) 1 2 8 15
  3. On paper Jordan seemed like the obvious winner, with Lindsay being 3rd/4th/3rd/2nd in the last 4 seasons. Plus he was in musicals. Though Sharna previously had an even better streak with 3rd/2nd/4th/2nd. Wonder if they'll push her to a win before the decade ends.
  4. Total viewers don't so much matter, but I wonder when it'll fall below "millions" of viewers, i.e. sub-2.
  5. Both Toy Box and 10 Days were 0.4s last night, which does make this show look better.
  6. No, that's share. -46% makes sense. Last premiere was down 28%, and I'd assume the Friday move would exasperate it by about half, so I would have thought maybe down 42%. -46% vs. last season's low would give us 0.4 for this season's low. Which is at least better than 10 Days I assume, given that show's 0.5 premiere.
  7. At the creative arts last year, 11/23/63 got vfx nom & triumph's election special 2016 got variety special writing nom.
  8. In the last 35 years i.e. Moss's lifetime, the only other Drama that won Series, Writing, Directing, and 2 top acting awards was...The West Wing season 1, with a recurring turn by our very own Elisabeth Moss Well, so far no Netflix Drama Series has managed even a running total of two broadcast Primetime Emmys...
  9. To be fair, all the network comedies combined won a total of one Emmy - Big Bang, for Multicamera Comedy Editing, which is the last bastion for only having wins for scripted network shows.
  10. I rooted for neither side. I guess one could argue that as being split.
  11. Hmm, if a big chunk of the episode is a battle that doesn't make a big difference in the big picture, I'll probably find it unexciting. Looking forward to the sister reunion though.
  12. It is summer, but still, ABC drama development is bombing. Somewhere Between is their latest 0.3. Non-Saturday 0.3s so far: American Crime x2 (Sun), Still Star Crossed x1 (Mon) moved to Saturday right afterwards, Somewhere Between x1 (Tues), You the Jury x1 (Fri) cancelled right afterwards. Not sure if it's a sign that their new fall shows will likewise bomb hard enough to make this show look decent, or that ABC dramas are just continuing their freefall as a whole (minus Grey's Anatomy).
  13. Officially she did not kill Bethany, MelissA did.
  14. So both Lindsay and Sharna have had 4 T4 contestants and 3 T3 contestants without a win. For those seasons, their contestants' ranking in average judge scores: Lindsay - 6th, 3rd, 3rd, 6th Sharna - 5th, 2nd, 5th, 2nd So I suppose Sharna has had better partners. I wonder if one or both will get an Obvious Contender next season, as I personally hadn't ever heard of either of their partners this season.
  15. Surprised, given how Lauren dominated iTunes. Chris's fans must've been significantly higher outside of sales. I think the producers are happy with how things turned out with an Alicia win. After 12 seasons, Blake still has 50% of all T2 contestants. Quite impressive. (The others: 5 Adam, 2 Christina, 2 Usher, 1 Alicia, 1 CeeLo, 1 Pharrell. 0 each for Shakira/Miley/Gwen.)
