  1. You're beating up on the wrong person re Porsha's stunt. That was me. Aviva said RHOA because that is the name of the show -- including everyone in it. Nene's assault on Kim was on camera. I read that it got worse -- and continued after filming stopped. I saw no subtle racism from Aviva. She is nasty enough without that. I haven't seen my conjecture of knockdown/dragout debunked. Apollo, for one, was brutal in his pounding assault. After much thought, I do believe the camera lingered on that particular assault. When the two Joe's from NJ started punching--it was quickly cut off, as I recall. I don't have a dvr so I have to go by memory. It is your perception that racism is involved, and that is apparently not going to change. I really can't follow your line of thinking, so I'll let it go at that (I don't know how to put in previous posts. I tried)
  2. Higgins - Thank you. I was beginning to wonder if I had entered an alternate universe.
  3. Yes. of course, it happened. Just because it was the men--they are also featured on the show. I don't want to be in a position of defending Aviva. I think she says some nasty things that most people wouldn't even think to say. Maybe all 3 franchises are guilty of trying to stir up interest.
  4. Talented Tenth Snarkkitty I guess we all have our own perception of events -- and, that's what makes the world go 'round.
  5. So true. I agree the HW shows should have more diversity.
  6. Isn't because of the knockdown-drag-outs on RHOA that it is the most watched ho show? And, I didn't even mention Porsha going after Kenya. Slapping or throwing wine just doesn't seem to be as seriously dramatic. I don't believe there is anything racist about it. Do we have to manufacture "racist" when it really does not apply?
  7. I judge table flipping, etc. on RHONJ as showboating (all talk and no action) not like Apollo's "physicality" Peter jumping in -- Candi totally furious--almost losing it. Those people were not play acting-- as in Kenya's friend ?Brandon's broken ribs. Sorry, I don't know how to "re-quote" the first part.
  8. I don't want to be seen as defending or taking up for Aviva (as I do believe she is evil)--but, I think what she meant in reference to RHOA --was the actual physical altercations that went on during Nene's party. I don't think any of the others have had such physical assaults.
  9. I've been just lurking twop, then here. I'm enjoying your posts almost more than the actual shows. After the last couple of episodes I've begun to wonder if Sonja is playing up to Aviva because she has decided to go all out after Harry (after all, the family has money, I understand) and feels that having Aviva's approval will seal the deal. Could it be that she has realized her future is not looking too bright. She really couldn't be as delusional as she appears. It could be an act. His family, I think, is old money--and it would give her some stability (maybe, and some prestige) more than her present situation. With the judgment looming and her general financial situation, it may be that she sees this as keeping up appearances with the social set. Aviva and Harry have a comfortable relationship and her approval might mean a lot for Sonja. After seeing first look I'm now almost convinced.
