  1. they did not have any proof that the entire $4,000 had been spent. and I didn't see defendant present any proof that the travel company held onto the money. I think he had not proof -- that is why he kept trying to say that it was payback for the loan. The plaintiff's daughter was able to get several things refunded and it went back to the deceased woman's credit cards. It wasn't $4,000 worth but it was a decent amount. The estate definitely got some extra money there. T
  2. Yes, my poor puppy (who is actually a 14-year-old Lab mix) has a few issues going on-- growth on her paw , another on her face and big problems with her hips-- that the vet advised us to leave alone. It's not worth the risk of anesthesia at her age. I missed this episode and am glad I did because it would have made me very upset. Fortunately, we have a place near us that has facilities for us to bath the dog ourselves. I am so worried to let anyone give her a bath at this point and I never even thought of her needing stitches; I was worried they would hurt her hip. Good news is that it's cheaper, which works out because I will now have to pay the vet to trim her nails and do other stuff that the groomers used to do that we don't.
  3. Ugh. When the judge said it disturbed her that the girl was on communication with the guy and knew so much about her mother's sex life, all she said was it disturbed her too. Excuse me? Then why did you tell all your business?? How did she get his number? And if it is disturbing, why are you letting someone read that on national TV? I think mom had a huge hand in this "disturbing" behavior. I hope the father of that child is involved in her life, because her mother is not doing her any favors.
  4. Watched the loony dog owner. It was entertaining! I completely agree. The man is off his rocker. And I am worried for that other guy. All defendent's call to the cops accomplished was getting the dog quarantined for 2 weeks and this Looney guy thinks means he is owed a lot of money and has the right to harass this guy when he walks along the street. I can see this guy going a little further than that. The quarintine was a good thing. I would want to make sure the dog does not have rabies. It is not normal for a dog to attack people while being walked on a leash with their owner right there.
  5. I hated the breeder case. The Judges think she cares for and loves animals. She loves them so much she breeds a sad looking dog that shakes all the time and had its tongue sticking out. And it's an award winning dog. Why people think that is cute it's beyond me. Defendent is no better. She orders this designer dog and is unhappy that it isn't healthy enough. If you want healthy, get a mixed breed from the shelter.
  6. I was very entertained by the case today. The loony woman who insisted her roommate stole jewelry out of her room and then put it back and then stole 20 pairs of pants and a mink coat. No wait it was a fox coat. No wait it wasn't real fur. Very entertaining.
  7. Please tell me this was tossed out and nobody got anything. My show was interrupted and I did not get to see the verdict
  8. Watching right now and worried about Lazaro (sp?) When he meets his bio mom. I hope she's doesn't overwhelm him. She was so emotional, moreso than anyone else I have seen on this show. Love his adoptive parents. They seemed a little nervous about his meeting the bio family but supported him. UPDATE:Finished watching and have to add how touching it was when je two moms hugged -- much longer than everyone else -- and then spoke to each other.
  9. Just watched the case of the grandparents who evicted their daughter-in-law on Christmas Day, didn't give her enough time to move out, and didn't send list of damages for 2 months. And son is still living there, so I don't see how they can say that the damage was from her. I agree with the verdict. I think it was spot-on. However, I don't agree when they said "you're probably very nice people." Because I don't think they are nice people; I think they're awful people. No matter how freaking pissed you are at your Daughter-in-law, no matter how much of a b**** she may be, How the hell do you kick her out on Christmas day? Even if you don't care about just common decency, don't you care about how your grandkids are going to feel. That's got to be very stressful and awful for them. They are vindictive harpies.
  10. I didn't even know this was a thing. We buried me grandparents when I was a child and my parents when I was an adult, we buried then in their own clothes.
  11. That's actually pretty standard for treating recovering addicts -- stay away from anything that is potentially addicting -- all drugs, even many prescription drugs, and alcohol. Some rehabs/ doctors., etc. even suggest staying away from caffeine & nicotine.
  12. The killer who plays with the detective is a bit of an overused trope, but this was a good episode. I am glad they didn't drag it out too long and that Sherlock realized it was Michael as soon as he identified the woman that Michael asked him to look for.
  13. I think I would like to see that episode ;-)! I like this idea!
  14. And if they were normal people, I would cut them some slack because maybe they are on a tight budget and clean hand-me-downs or thrift store purchases are all they could afford. But if you are going to whore your kids out to the media, buy some clothes for them that fit.
