  1. I'll echo The Butt Dance, Outta Your Mind, Hip Hip Chin Chin, & Ramalama but I also love Mark & Courtney- The Garden: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ooC64uhrjYQ (@ 40 sec) Mark & Jenna- I Am the Best: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=--7dfIrlOpE (@ 1:59). So I mainly love Mark and wasn't a huge Jenna fan but this was such a fun dance. and of course Too Much Booty in the Pants: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y11gOybzpRE (@2:55). I really just loved this & they are still one of my favorite partnerships. I could probably go on but I'll save it for when the seasons starts.
  2. Oh, Maddy. Teenagers are the worst. Poor Deacon, he has no idea. Scarlet is going back to Mississippi, where her crazy mother is? Good plan Goldilocks. Loved all the Rayna/Juliette stuff- especially the hair stuff. This is what I want from their relationship. They really could be dangerous together. Now I really hope they revisit the Avery/Juliette stuff because those two are wonderful together. That last scene was heartbreaking. Gunner & Zoey really should have just said he needed to talk to her. Despite all the shenanigans etc. that kitchen scene between Deacon and Rayna was hot. Chip Esten is a very sexy man.
  3. Didn't Garrett have a manufactured serum that Raina reverse bioengineered? I think she even said was missing a thing or 2 but should work.
  4. I understand being upset about Christina over Kristen but really America, Jake?!?!? Come on. He is nice enough, but no. Go Josh!
  5. Wow. I hate that intern. Flames on the side of my face type hate. Like way more than I ever hated Daisy. Yes bitch, there is red tape because you are assisting in a federal investigation that will most likely end in a court room.
  6. Sigh. I just wanted a nice wedding. Yes, you just have your wedding and your party and go on your honeymoon- then when you get back in town fix the paperwork & go see the Justice of the Peace. Also, even in Vegas you need to get a marriage license so they would have had to go to the court house & then the drive through. Kate really should have strong armed Rogan in the first place- she has never had an issue that. Christ, she could have brought her gun (unloaded) and used that. And that Mercedes would have easily evaded that Navigator. I did love how wedding planner Alexis was. I loved Castle's little speech, and Lanie's dramatic dress call. But yeah- not happy with this or Marlowe's post-show interview.
  7. Kind of a different direction but is anyone curious about how Agent Carter might effect AOS (and the greater Marvel Universe)?
  8. They snagged a renewal (which I guess was never really a question) http://www.eonline.com/news/540398/dancing-with-the-stars-renewed-for-season-19
  9. You should never lie about tacos, Garrett. Never. Having said that I am truly enjoying Bill Paxton in this roll. If, and it is a big if, Ward was telling the truth about his childhood to Skye then his parents, the mental health system, and the correctional system have all majorly failed him. Garrett played him like a fiddle. The only redemption I want to see is his death.
  10. Well- this was the first time that Zoey has been actually useful. WTF with the doctors (and everyone else aside from Zoey) at that clinic- Scarlet visibly tensed up any time her mom was around. Clear signs of an issue. Aside from Rayna's dismissal of Juliette (which I chalk up to more of a gettin' shit done mentality), Rayna handled that as well as someone in her position could. Juliette was right- Scarlet is a grown ass woman who signed a contract and that is how the business works. Being fragile does not get a special pass. Girl need therapy (at least she did take some ownership when she was leaving the hospital). Hopefully, we can have less of Scarlet now. I think I might actually rather watch Will & Layla's reality show than more of that... Speaking of: Jeff's eye-rolls at that party were epic.
  11. So this is the first time I actually watched this show (pretty much based on Tara & Sarah's Talk it Out article) and that was a legitimately enjoyable experience. I think both ladies made decent observations about the different lifestyles and challenges. I like that both ladies were centered on family togetherness (just in their own way). I also really liked each individual family- none of the kids seemed that entitled- they were just kids in different situations. Indoor camping is awesome as is roller skating (which we did a lot when I was younger). The big take away is that Tichina Arnold is my new favorite person. I don't drink much when it is just me at home- but even I have a few bottles of wine/liquor at home and no coffee is just crazy talk.
  12. Which is a perfectly legitimate feeling to have about the outfit. What is not legit is for people to make assumptions about her personal life based on an outfit (which you clearly did not do.) That is the difference & it is a clear line to me. It is also a really thin line. As to why people feel it is an inappropriate outfit- well that is a mmv situation. I personally don't mind those types of outfits because I like to see the work the human body is doing in a dance. It think it is beautiful and should be celebrated because it is impressive. Nakedness is a big deal because people make it a big deal. This particular outfit was not to my personal taste (kind of because I'm jealous- her abs are sick) but mainly because I didn't like the color. Edited for moderation to fix the flow of the convo...
  13. I guess my response would be so? If you want to say you are not comfortable with that combo of items that is one thing...it does not make it ok to assume she is sleeping with all her partners, calling her a slut, or a cheap hooker. Being uncomfortable with revealing clothing is fine but I think it says more about the person making the comment than the person wearing the cloths. I don't think we heard a thing about Maks when they did the jungle book dace & they actually called on twitter to have Tony take his shirt off. The whole thing just screams of misogyny and the notoriously puritan attitudes America in general has with the human body (specifically a female one) and sex. I didn't even particularly like her costume (hated the color) but slut shamming is ridiculous. That is what I have issue with.
  14. How many more episodes are there this season? I'm not sure when GW shoots but Alan is pretty busy through January with Cabaret, so I don't know how much more Eli we can get...
  15. I honestly didn't think Peta's outfit was that bad (aside from the color- I just didn't like that red on her and i think that more than anything made it a bit hard on the eye). I also think it is funny for people to complain about family friendly when this is the same network that airs the Bachelor/Bachelorette at 8:30 (central)...also yeah- wearing revealing clothing does not equal slut. Really, I am just jealous of her freaking abs. I wish I was that confident to wear something like that on national tv. Plus they did samba rolls- so she gets points for that. Oh Charlie- you are adorbs but that Paso was a bit sloppy. I still love Sharna, but agree she should pull back a tiny bit on the choreo- and I hate to say I agreed with CAI's critique specifically (ewww- I hated typing that). And yes charlie, we all look up to Ricky Martin- who has been the best judge by far (including Julianne) this show has had on. I didn't think it was a huge deal, just a little awkward- what made it uncomfortable for me was the long shot of her BF in the audience after. Which was shitty on the producers parts. I'm kind of meh on Candace in general- I think she probably would benefit from regular therapy (most people would) but that was a nice dance. Her story for me- is that it makes me realize how much more I like Mark when he gets these types of stars. He costumes them beautifully and really seems to foster a safe teaching environment for them. Which is nice because he usually annoys me. I love Maks & Meryl and want them to have little russian olympian dancing babies. ETA- I hate it when group dances are scored.
  16. One of my favorite things about watching the next day is I can ff through the judging & clips- then I can just see if I like the dance- there is nothing coloring it. I don't know how much credence there is to this but I was watching Wendy Williams (please don't judge- that channel comes in really well on our antenna..) and she said something about rumors of Drew real being into Cheryl & Cheryl not reciprocating those feelings (I'm not sure why he would be surprised by that.) That might explain the mechanics of that relationship a bit. I personally love Maks and think his partnership with Meryl is fantastic. That tango was fierce- I want to see that from them. Count me as one of those who though Peta looked lovely- and younger in that outfit. Sadly, the return of Latin week pretty much guarantees a return to form for her. Itty bitty under-dressed form.
  17. It looks like Gwen Stefani is replacing Christina (just for next season) http://m.usmagazine.com/entertainment/news/gwen-stefani-joins-the-voice-as-christina-aguileras-replacement-2014184
  18. WTF- Why is Haley even part of the "political" discussion? What world does she live in? Of course the weak survive at the mercy of the strong- idiot. And her side ponytail was stupid. I also would like for Elija to have some fun sexy times with the lady drug-pin. She is the only woman (aside from Rebeka & Davina) that does not drive me batty. You can do better than Haley, Elija! Yes, I think a drug dealer is better- at least she is interesting! The witches are morons. Davina is the only one that the vampires kind of like, lets tun her against us some more! Monique is ridiculous, I want someone to stab her in the face. It is no wonder it was easy for Marcel to subjugate them. I'm also done with Genevieve. Didn't we already know that the witches wanted to kill the magic baby? Poor Thierry- that guy really could not catch a break.
  19. Witney was channeling Julianne hard in that samba outfit. I really wish we could eliminate contemporary (and to a lesser degree Jazz) from this competition. I also wish that since they insist on doing these gimmicky type of shows, they would use the original freaking recordings for all of the dancers. Get it together ABC. It is weird because I think the only dance where the animation really worked was for James/Peta- and while he gets points for showing that he is actually a nice guy with Hannah- it still was not a perfect score dance. I really love Maks & Meryl. I think they are adorable together and she certainly brings the best out in him. Plus, samba rolls!!!!! Bwahahahah! Oh, my poor Tony. I never really had any opinion on NeNe before this- but wow, that was super bitchy. I get everyone has a bad day, but that is not the way to handle frustration. Free Tony indeed. STFU Donny Osmond. And no CAI- the switch-up was a ridiculous stunt that caused far more trouble than it was worth because it genuinely hurt people's feelings for no fucking reason. Switching partners on SYTYCD works because all of the contestants are essentially pro dancers- it is a giant audition so they need to test versatility. The best partnerships on THIS show are built on mutual trust and respect because someone is way out of their element (to a degree- not getting into the "ringer" stuff). Intentionally trying to screw up that balance was a terrible miscalculation by TPTB.
  20. Ming-Na is amazing. Can we just make the show about her? She killed it in that scene when Coulson was wrapping her arm up. I admittedly love Coulson but his Skye blinders have kind of dampened that. Phil better get it together and realize the wonder that is May. Maybe it is just me, but I don't really think Hand was all that. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed her but a) I find it hard to take her seriously as a huge badass with those red highlights (which I do love) and b) she was never more that a high level administrator to me. Really the most interesting thing she has done is get shot (but I did enjoy her test for Simmons & Triplett). The Hydra symbol was awesome. Hopefully this amps things up in the show.
  21. The Scarlett stuff is easily my least favorite part of this season (well the show really) but aren't there handlers on a tour? How was Avery the only person that noticed that something was wrong with her? Also, are fans that quick to turn around on someone- she was literally a minute into her set- it was obvious the band as confused- if I am there I think something is wrong. Like medically wrong. I still don't get why Gunner is upset about not having the band? You made $400K on 2 songs- I am assuming there will be residuals too. It is not like you can't play music. Arguably you are the most successful of the next gen crew right now (monetarily) and based on all the drama everyone else is dealing with you would think talented song writer is the better career choice. Get it together Gunner. Having said all that- I did enjoy tonights episode and liked seeing Mr. Wentworth again.
  22. Can we have high Scarlett again? Because the "woe is me" crap is lame.
  23. For some reason I thought for sure it was going to be Duncan & Little Lilly...which could have pulled in more of the Weevil/Celeste stuff. That may be the focus of the next book. I really liked her Mac.
  24. I also did the Audible trial to get it. I loved it. Norris was a great surprise. Not sure how I feel about Lianne, but I am really curious about how Hunter being in her life will effect Veronica. I actually think Logan not being center to the story was a smart decision because there is a decent contingent of the fan population that are not crazy about all the LoVe stuff and it is nice to see her settle back into Neptune a bit off kilter. Her relationship with Keith is still the most important thing about the story for me (despite Kristen's terrible impression, props for trying though) If we can't get anymore screen time, I am content with KB narrated books from now on.
