  1. Is it wrong that I want to see those two dummies end up together (Alec and Baylor)? They're kind of perfect for each other. "People don't know Baylor, I've got like, feelings and stuff". "Wow, he's so much more than i thought he was"
  2. Man, screw Missy, she's got to go. Seeing the price her former tribe had to pay for burning through their rice so quickly, while she skated off to another tribe where she proceeded to decimate their supply as well really, really pissed me off.
  3. I wouldn't say I'm disappointed to see him get voted out, but it seemed like John didn't really get a fair shake, which is obviously what they wanted when they cast him. It's pretty natural for Jeremy to be upset at his wife being voted out, but from what we saw, while he may not have done everything possible to save her, John did as much as could have been reasonably expected in that situation. He did disclose information to someone not in his alliance in an effort to help her stay in the game. Things may have been different if she didn't lie to John instead of admitting she didn't have an idol, but that's the way she chose to play it. Granted, Jeremy doesn't really know what happened exactly, but I wouldn't expect someone to sacrifice their own game to save someone else. I was way more appalled at Natalie's behavior during the challenge. She didn't even know what exactly John had said, and like people have mentioned, all her information was secondhand. To just start spewing vitriol based on that alone is pretty classless in my opinion. He said something horrible things in the past, but if he does genuinely regret what he said, it shouldn't be held over his head forever.
  4. I doubt Juice will kill her, that'd be rather anticlimactic. Telling Chibs or Jax that Gemma is the one who killed Tara...that's a better possibility. And far more effective revenge. It's doubtful they'd believe him, but it would plant a seed that would bring the truth to light eventually. Nobody would find it hard to believe Gemma would make up some bullshit story, and start a war that's piled up bodies on both sides just to protect herself.
  5. Standard procedural crime show - wise cracking detective, flippantly says, "Somebody got murdered" In-depth season long mystery (e.g. The Killing) - "Somebody got murdered"
  6. I kept waiting for one of the firefighters to say, "Jeff, this isn't Fahrenheit 451, I don't start fires, I put them out." Does John Rocker get some credit for encountering a gay man, an african american man, and a woman and only saying something offensive to one of those groups. 2 out of 3 isn't bad for him!
  7. Not only that, but bury him again, with her bare hands since she broke the shovel in two.
  8. I've really enjoyed the progression of the sheriff this season, as a guy actually trying to do real police work now and get to the bottom of events. He's certainly no dummy, and hilariously enough, Daniel's note which proves he was at George's trailer may ironically clear him in the eyes of the sheriff. The sheriff has to wonder, what kind of idiot would leave a signed note at the residence of someone he had murdered? The finale started off quite slow, but that last half was very intense. The languorous pace this show takes can sometimes be infuriating, but I still find it enjoyable.
  9. Something else kind of baffles me, why doesn't Daniel tell his lawyer/family that he honestly doesn't know if he killed Hannah or not. And that the reason he has to consider the plea deal is that because he was too high to know otherwise, he has to entertain the notion that maybe he did. Now given what we know regarding Trey and George, I still don't think Daniel did it, but it might help in explaining things to Amantha and his little brother.
  10. Am I alone in not liking Tawney?. It's one thing to be wrongfully accused of something, but it really didn't seem like anything Teddy was saying was untrue. She really didn't seem to give a shit about losing the baby, and she did end up calling Daniel. I don't know if it's something in the way she's written, or the way she's portrayed, but I don't like the wavery, hesitant, skittish baby deer thing that seems to come across from her tone of voice.
  11. Granted this show is definitely rooted in the small town, good ol boy mentality, but was it even legal for the sheriff to disclose what Teddy told him to the senator? Let alone for the senator to pass on that information himself. What is he even doing involved in this thing to begin with? He's not a DA anymore, it may have been his case before, but I don't see how that would entitle him to be privy to what's going on now.
  12. Well I wasn't really sure before, but I'm fairly sure now Daniel is innocent and Trey killed Hannah. If Trey truly believed Daniel killed Hannah in a blind rage, he wouldn't be so cavalier about being pinned by an angry Daniel. He was completely unconcerned because he knew that Daniel wasn't capable of killing anyone, not back then and not now.
  13. Yes and no, to a certain extent. I think he did it to teach Teddy a lesson, but upon reflection perhaps realized that that is not a lesson anyone should be taught.
  14. I actually find myself feeling bad for Teddy, which is strange since it wouldn't be wrong as an audience to see what had happened to him as comeuppance. That's been one of the best things about this season, showing that what Daniel did was wrong, which Daniel himself realizes. Just because Teddy was being an insensitive asshole, is not an excuse for perpetuating the wrongs that were inflicted on him while in prison. Teddy's behavior, the distancing of himself from everyone, the lashing out, are all ways of him trying to cope with and come to terms with being shamed and victimized in such a fashion that shook every fundamental concept of how he defines himself as a man. That the show is not shying away from that is really commendable.
  15. So much this. Marco was a crappy husband, which is certainly enough reason to divorce him, but it seems like she blames him for what happened. Nobody made her get involved with a serial killer, she's as much to blame for almost getting her family blown up as Marco is. Her being a dumbass that got manipulated is on her, not him.
