That was totally her way of daring anyone to challenge the supremacy of the McCain name/legacy.

My God, I just found myself screaming at my television. MehGun just so doesn't get it. She was quiet on the issue because, deep down, she knows she resembles the issue. Glad Joy pushed back on her pathetic attempt to derail the conversation. Oh, NOW it's ok to be afraid, MehGun? From the same hypocrite who used to poo-poo at Joy's fears/anxiety about Trump infesting the White House.

I was disappointed in this episode. I'm not sure if it's because Idris isn't really good with comedy, or the writing let him down. In so many of the skits, it felt like he was a supporting player or afterthought. The regulars seemed to be chewing scenery all around him. He was somewhat more showcased in the WBNA skit. It wasn't that funny, but it got me and Mr. rollacoaster talking about unequal pay in sports between male and female players. Loved Cecily in the Impossible Hulk. "I'm feeling agressed!" I work in customer service and I've dealt with that type of person before, both male and female. You're just left stunned by the unnecessary, insane intensity of it all. It's generally sparked by staff saying something as banal as "I'm sorry, we can't/don't do that."

Country Americana wedding. Wow. That video pretty much sums up Me-Gun in a shotgun shell.

I think that Monet did an excellent job of interviewing. That Rajah! That was so annoying when she jumped in to interrupt the first Muslim contestant to say that she was the first Christian contestant. I know that previous contestants have talked about being Christian. Soju didn't seem to have much to say, and I would have liked to heard more from her. It's a good looking cast of Queens, I'm looking forward to see what they have to offer! During the trailer, some of them reminded me of Queens from previous seasons.

I am so glad to be back with you guys! Squeeeeeeeee! One thing that struck me during the Ivanka interview was how composed and calm she appeared. She has been well trained to promote the Trump family version of events. There were a couple of tells: before she answered one question, she visibly swallowed, before another the muscles tightened ever so slightly around her eyes. Of course these were questions about her dad and his shenanigans. Such a good soldier.

I watched her deliver her one, long run-on sentence. She looked pallid and washed out, like a vampire or a member of the Malfoy family.

AGT The Champions: All Episode Discussion
rollacoaster replied to silverspoons's topic in America's Got Talent
At my house, we call him our Sexy Anime Magic Boy. I'm a sucker for dimples, sculptured cheekbones, and elegant hands. I was disappointed that he didn't run his fingers through his hair. -
But Joy wanted specifics about how he and the Dems would remedy the situation on the border. He sidestepped giving any concrete solutions. Exactly this. And he got kinda of nasty and seemed to try to make Joy look/feel bad for even pushing for a straight answer.

I'm not impressed with this Corey Booker. Sure he's attractive, charming, likable...but, he didn't answer Joy's question. That was an impressive and eloquent non-answer. I was annoyed that he seemed to imply that neither Democrats nor himself had any real power to effect change on that particular issue. Felt dodgy to me.

S02.E11: The Book of Secrets, Chapter One: Prodigal Son
rollacoaster replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in Black Lightning
LOL! If we can't get revenge against racists in the real world, Black Lightning is making sure to get it done in fictional Freeland. I haven't been watching Black Lightning this season, so this was the first episode I've seen in a while. Glad to see the show is still going strong. And I was beyond thrilled when Jenn blew up that heifer's car! Call me Petty Betty. ;) -

Parking lot Patty? -
I thought Meghan looked very nice today, and, overall, was fairly calm, reasonable, and articulate. The guest was talking out of both sides of his mouth. I was sincerely shocked when he brought up Jesus. I can't stand the type of person who, when challenged about their BS behavior, suddenly goes all "Only Christ can judge my heart."

When I read this, I imagined him wearing really big wigs, like Marie Antoinette style. Ok, I'll show myself out.

Blonde hair seems to be a requirement for a woman to be a Repub commentator that resonates with the Fox News contingent. Oh, excuse me, "Political Analyst". Case in point: Tomi Lahren. Also, to be an ill-informed, unquestioning, and loud promoter of the party line. See also: Tomi Lahren.

Meh-Gun, you don't have to have been pregnant to KNOW about pregnancy, or to be compassionate or empathetic. Just like you don't have to have been alive during the French Revolution to know about it.

I hope so. I also hope Meh-Gun took the point to heart. From the way she turned her back to Sunny, I think she did.

Oh, do journalists accuse ALL women of screeching and hysteria, Meh-Gun? Do they? Somebody kinda sensitive about that. I really appreciate that the other women are working hard to keep Meh-Gun focused on the topics at hand.

"I AM A POLITICAL ANALYST!" Name it and claim it, Meh-Gun. Name it and claim. However, shouting it doesn't make it true, little missy. And, yes, we KNOW whose daughter you are. Are you not the queen of painting folk with a broad brush? Girl, take SEVERAL seats.

In that opening scene at the art gallery, did anyone catch that the Asian woman eating the apple and admiring the ladder was a reference to Yoko Ono?

Those were leftovers - plates bused from tables No, a different scene, the one where she has paged Midge and she comes to the employee cafeteria. They both seem to nibble off of freshly fixed plates, but didn't take either plate.
