  1. And stop picking up random men for rough boinking in the car, or bringing them home
  2. For now I'm willing to go with Corey being an undercover cop, maybe a rookie pulled in by Det. Quinlen to help her take down the "Monterey 5." She is hell bent to get them one way or another. Being there when Gordon Klein was arrested by the FBI? That was no accident. I kinda want to see her get egg on her face when it's all said and done but I suspect that won't happen. ML knows exactly what kind of man Perry was. He was the son she raised to be manipulative, violent, and ruthless. (That line about foreplay after Celeste slapped her was so ice cold and straight to the heart). And turning the tables on Renata, a tough, take no prisoners business woman who, in her own words, has had a target on her back from day one, was smooth as glass. You don't get as high up on the food chain as Renata did by letting Harriet Hausfrau get the drop on you like that. Which is why it's so frustrating to me that she didn't have a better handle on her personal finances rather than let Gordon do his thing with them but whatever. Live and learn Renata. And well done having some girl time with Amabella. It was long overdue.
  3. Maybe B doesn't like the idea of anyone else shilling their products on HER show?
  4. Hello and forgive me if this has been addressed but why can't Rio deal with Boomer? As the store manager Boomer had to know about the money in the safe and how and why it was in there. Keeping him around long enough to mess with the money laundering operation was just sloppy. Rio has his issues but I don't think he'd care for someone jacking up his business like that.
  5. You are correct. And he should have been. *edited because my fat fingers hit the wrong keys*
  6. It would have been better if Casey had to make Hermann face some consequence for his behavior. Kinda blows the whole Casey is a great leader thing if he chooses to ignore the unacceptable behavior of one of his men. Worried about Otis I get but physically assaulting his temporary replacement? Seriously? Oh Gabby. What nasty little secret is she harbouring and why does it make Casey leave her at Molly's and drive off into the night? Hopefully it's her complete undoing and she has to go elsewhere.
  7. Hi and forgive me I know this episode has to have been addressed already but I was watching reruns this morning as I got ready for work and A Case of Dress Distress was showing. One segment had the meanest, nastiest bridesmaid - Kelly. What in the world? The minute she called the tulle on a dress toile it wasn't hard to see where it was going. Downhill fast. She brings the bride a dress she cannot afford, blames Lisa the consultant for this, then calls a Pnina dress (that the bride, Jamie, looked stunning in) cheap - kept saying cheap cheap cheap behind her hands. The older friend beside her looked so embarrassed. The poor bride left without a dress and Lisa got done out of a commission. That bridesmaid and the snotty redheaded bride (cannot remember her name but will never forget her behavior) from Minnesota who flew in on daddy's corporate jet & kept bringing up a Monique Lhuillier dress she found back home, daring the Kleinfeld consultants to do better - 2-3 hours after the store had closed for the night would be a match made in bridal hell.
  8. Yeah. It would help if there were some actual reason for her being there and doing what she did. Or tried to do. It might have been because they had a contractual obligation with the actor who portrayed her and had to fulfill it somehow.
  9. In their defense, I too drool over MGG and I'm not exactly young but I get you. The only saving grace about this arc is that a lot of us in the workplace have seen this kind of thing happen at some point. "Management" brings in a new person to shake things up and see who can play ball with the team and who can't. A lot of times all they end up doing is driving the good employees out and are left with the dregs, suck-ups and a$$-kissers to run the place into the ground. I've seen it happen a few times. The only thing I could think of regarding the Senator was that he could, I suppose, make life miserable for Barnes from his position in the Senate or hold a press conference or something and point to her directly stating that she did not want to pursue the case blah blah blah, his daughter could have died, blah blah blah, your daughter could be next, blah blah blah, this kind of ineffective leadership, blah blah blah... Watching Barnes eat dirt and hang her head in shame was nice but I was really hoping for more, especially after her "no one cares about a bunch of Mexican grandmothers" line. I wanted that press conference and a complete, public shaming and humiliation. I cracked up at the partner the put Prentiss with - mostly because I love Gary Basaraba as an actor. The character was unprofessional & crude but he'd be good for a laugh now and then. And yes, I bet the guys wife probably will want to beat the crap out of him now.
  10. I hate Barnes. I hope she has a fitting exit.
  11. I'd settle for her being confronted about her unacceptable behavior (getting a survivor shot - WTFingF!!!!), humiliated and fired from the FBI in front of the BAU.
  12. This reminds me of my childhood in the 80's. My mom was a divorce attorney and a lot of her clientele were women who had married very young in the 1950's-early 60's and had never worked outside the home. No clue how to read mortgage paperwork or a credit card bill or utility statement. Hell, some of the wealthier women had never written a check. Groceries and clothing were charged and husband paid the bills. Mom would bring these scared, newly single women home with her and drag out our bills and stuff and basically teach them how to survive post divorce. It does indeed seem foreign to us in this generation to be that clueless and naive but back then it was not at all uncommon. And in the big, giant scheme of things it wasn't that long ago.
  13. I don't remember the episode but at one time, didn't the team want to contact a local police department and offer their services to them but Hotch said it was strictly forbidden. The BAU cannot intervene unless they are expressly invited by that law enforcement agency to do so. But now Barnes is doing just that? When they were describing the unsub at one point, I couldn't help thinking that Barnes fits that description pretty well. Doesn't fit in, jealous of those who do, she knows shes never the smartest person in the room and has to push and bully those in her charge to drive home how superior she believes she is until they are ultimately destroyed one way or another. She can't function unless everyone around her is either cowering in fear or kissing her a$$. Getting to take on the case then treating the detective in charge like a flunky and undermining every single aspect of the investigation. Something tells me she isn't as tight with the director as she is letting on so she's determined to drive a wedge in there so no one believes they can go to the director with any concerns. All points stop and start with her and only her. My dark, mean, petty little soul is hoping for an epic take down of Barnes. Job loss, disgrace, possible investigation into unethical or illegal practices while on the job...
  14. She meant Greenwich, Connecticut where the family lived. This whole episode reeked from the opening scene. Not one shred of evidence pointing to the widow, maybe an hour or two of "investigating" the crime scene, but the cops and the DA were determined to convict her anyway, first in the court of public opinion then in an actual courtroom. In real life she'd probably have grounds to sue them for malicious prosecution and go right back to a nice cushy life. I sure as hell would.
