  1. I didn't realize you were back to more "old school" recaps until the other day. I am so excited, and have so many recaps I need to read! Viva la Words! (No, not a podcast person.)
  2. There are circumstances where I believe people should be outed. But this was absolutely not even close to being one and Varner should have known better. He did not just decide this on the spur of the moment. He had to have reflected upon it before Tribal. He gets no sympathy from me. None. Zeke = amazing in so many ways.
  3. Odd. My original comment did not show up. Love this show and hope that Previously.tv continues to cover it.
  4. Just want to comment to ensure the powers that be know we want to hear about Bee!
  5. Color me biased or dismissive of artists or some other form of snob, but definitely #TeamCharles. Josh does nothing for me. Of course, I'm a 50-something lesbian, which could have something to do with it, but I can "see" Liza/Charles. (I could also see Me / Sutton Foster!)
  6. Except yeah - he did deserve to die that way. As a big GoT fan (for longer than some of his fans have been alive!).... I really enjoyed the entire episode for all the reasons noted in the recap (and more!).
  7. The thing with Will's message was that Alicia had given him an ultimatum essentially, "I need to know you have a plan (about us)." He initially wasn't sure, but the call was telling her "Yes! Yes! Yes!" Because he didn't call her with that (so far as she knew) she "chose" Peter. Now, I wasn't vested in them getting together, and until Eli opened his mouth I had forgotten about that. And I was screaming at my TV, "Don't tell her, Eli, stop! Don't tell her!" almost in tears of frustration that he wouldn't listen. My dog thinks I'm nuts - but darn if I wasn't right that Eli should have kept his mouth shut,. 8. "You and I will be together now. And you will be safe. And protected." He sounded like Kathy Bates in "Misery."
  9. Just wonderful. I rarely watch unspoiled because I record and watch when I get home late. Forgot to read up before watching this as I fell to sleep. Love, love, loved it! "Does not count." Just wow.
  10. Only quibble with the mostly spot on review/recap is that the Doctor would not be "phoning it in" because even though it is a repeat for him, each time it does not work/reach the desired results would add to his angst and frustration. Also - mind wiping - has he wiped himself to forget that ....
  11. I am like Janeway. I just don't think too much about the Time Space Continuum dilemmas because it gives me headaches I don't need. Because .... doctors runs into Ashildr years later, finds she felt abandoned. "Be right back!" he cries, and visits her many times in her past and then popping back into her now changed present. He did this in one of my favorite Whos ever - A Christmas Carol. So, I enjoyed, and am not going to pick it apart. (Although I love picking it apart and then reminding myself, "I enjoyed." I am not a Clara fan. I did enjoy Maisie very much and am glad we are going to see her again. Sunglasses are very "Meh" for me.
  12. He remains a jerk. She remains somebody who recognizes all the insidious forms of systemic racism and sexism. I am glad she is there and pointing it out - if we all sit back and let it happen without comment, it will never change.
  13. The Booth lie doesn't make sense. It is not a positive ID he cannot easily take back, and will harm the potential prosecution of the real big bad. If they need to make it seem as if he believes she is the big bad (and there is no reason why this is so) he could have said, "I am not sure. Yes, I guess it could have been her." I love the show (fine, I'm easy, sue me), but this aspect does not (yet?) make sense to me.
  14. It is fairly clear to me that whatever is up, Emma is acting out of good for the town and the people she loves, but they need to find the solution on their own for it all to work. A test? A trap? A trick. I don't care. Even "knowing" that, I am enjoying watching it unfold. And so very much more than the "Frozen" plot. This seems to be getting more back to the basics of why I started enjoying the show in the first place.
