I don't like Ashley Williams and the save the tree plot feels so outdated to me. Too many shows I watched as a kid has that save the tree episode. I've never actually encountered protests to save a tree in real life though. Not a recent movie on Hallmark could pass the Bechdel test so it's funny they even mentioned it.

The whole aging player who's body is breaking down, big shot ladies man and well respected captain persona is comparable. These writers did say they were inspired by real life athletes.

I think the wide shots scanning over her ass while she worked out and Mike looked over his shoulder were pretty self explanitory.

They had him eying her up multiple times during this episode including those gym scenes where he was checking out her butt

ITA this episode bored more and I kept changing the channel to go watch actual baseball. The whole team whinin and fighting about her presence got old real quick. And I don't understand why they had MPG gain weight and a burly beard for this role like catchers can't be clean cut and slim. Especially when it's feels like they got a little inspired by Derek Jeter for this role. They painted his character as popular mainstream and dating supermodels and having big sponsors while being a great player and respected captain. Yet they don't have him looking the part of that super star athlete. And they brought in the ex wife who had an affair to make him sympathetic.I'd find it more believable if he was the one who had the affair knowing how athletes are.

I had a feeling someone was gonna post that one random IG post. His mother may be partially Cuban but I've never seen him represent latinos ever. Never saw him pictured at latino hollywood event, never heard him speak during hispanic heritage month, never heard him talk about being hispanic. So I'm guessing he doesn't identify.

They didn't try that hard because her Kristina was a recurring player in what was supposed to be her story. Only on to prop their pets

GH is worst than Passions in its final two years which included a serial murdering incestuous rapist hermaphrodite.

The only families who get to show off their relationships on this show are the Corinthos and Davis clan and I'm beyond tired of both.

They could've easily cast actors of mixed heritage to play Sonny's children

Each show has a set budget that gets broken down by what goes to casting, wardrobe, sets, etc.

But his fame came from his music not GH. GH introduce him to some soap fans but music made him global. He wasn't a breakout star for this show. He was a famous singer doing a guest role. Amber Tamblyn was a breakout star. She was a fan favorite who left GH and became a big star.

That doesn't negate the fact that he was already famous though.

Who was GH's last breakout star? (relative unknown who became a fan favorite and then went on to have a big career) I've noticed alot of the people who went on to primetime recently were not well liked or on for long.

He did not discover Tequan though. Tequan had already been on a successful sitcom that still runs heavily in syndication. The mystery is that he joined GH at all for this nothing role.

Regardless of who has memories of what we don't know when Stamos started pitching his concept and it's hardly an original idea. There was already a show about this back in the 80s. And Victoria Rowell has been pitching her soap behind a soap concept for years.

She as a little kid knew these people were doing drugs on set and hooking up with each other. I highly doubt.

And unlike KMC he would have experienced/actually been apart of the drama on GH's set during the two years he was on the show. KMc was a child then and she said herself she was shielded from alot of the on set drama. Things she heard later on he would've actually witnessed as an adult. Teschner hasn't chosen a strong male actor for GH in years even before FV came on board. He's been living off too much hype for awhile now.
