  1. The Backstreet Boys once again proved to me they are still no comparison to Nsync. Vanessa and Rachel are the only women I like this season. they seem way too good and mature for Nick though.
  2. It was mentioned in the pilot she is 17 turning 18 soon. She begged the lady to process her out of the system early
  3. Well I haven't read the books either but I heard the show in the books was clearly based off the Today show but Hallmark is comparing it to Home & Family so I'm sure they make Billy white. The Kathy Lee seriea sounds so random. And it's a little odd they never mention God or Jesus in their Christmas movies but are doing a faith based show.
  4. So Hallmark is making a movie series based off Al Roker's book series “The Midnight Show Murders” Al Roker Mystery Franchise This mystery wheel franchise revolves around a fictional TV morning show. Billy Blessing is the food anchor for the show and owner of a successful local bistro. After the mysterious death of one of the network execs, Billy’s life takes a turn as he becomes the main suspect in the murder investigation and he is forced to investigate to clear his name. Billy solves a new mystery in each movie. Based on the mystery books written by Al Roker.
  5. All the actresses are singing their parts. All three are somewhat accomplished in their own rights as singers. Jonhta Austin does the music for this show
  6. Nick talks like he's speaking through new veneers.
  7. Every time I hear "Can I steal you, for a second" I think of that SNL skit that made fun of Ben's season
  8. Mira was in Finding Mrs. Claus which was a Lifetime Christmas movie a few years back. Even though he won an oscar she hasn't been seen as a pretigeous actress in years. She's been in quite a few tv and direct to dvd movies.
  9. The shows on Disney are horrible dumbed down messes so Archie definitely doesn't belong on there either. But I do agree that it should've been more like Sabrina
  10. I don't know why it has to be dark. Why can't Archie just be a fun teen comedy?
  11. I watched all of Greenleaf and don't agree with your assessments at all. Yes Zora was originally looked at as a problem kid however it was revealed that pervy uncle tried to push up on her therefore making her sympathetic. How was Mabel portrayed as corrupt? She was seen as one of the few with sense. Mae was the one portrayed as corrupt and covering for her sick brother. Though she tried to put on airs to paint an image of herself as holier than thou but that's just how First ladys are. Jacob's affair was only a couple of episodes and they tried to make him sympathetic after that and we were suppposed to feel for that hoe just cuz he's sexy. Now Charity I agree they just brushed her off. There's no choir director vs Charity's husband. The choir director was just a plot point to show how Charity is so excepting to this man but blinded by her down low husband.
  12. What color ism issues in Queen Sugar? People keep saying Nova gets less airtime but it's Charlie's story. The book was about Charlie and Nova was created for the show.
  13. Days does that stuff all the time. Notice how they often cast latinos with white actors and always use a character being half white to choose a white actor.
  14. Star is supposed to be on the verge of 18 right? And Simone younger so why do they keep trying to sexualize these young girls?
  15. All members of Josie and the Pussycats are black in Riverdale.
  16. I've noticed though that many of these actors are signed through their foreign agencies so I would think casting knows they are non American. Before they even audition their agencies must submit them for the chance to audition. Most of the Australian actors seem to come from Australian soaps operas and are no better than our American actors( so called classical training or not). And its bad enough American actors of color have a hard time getting roles compared to their white counterparts but they're also competing against foreign white actors and lately even foreign poc for American roles.
  17. Folks keep trying to say it's because they are better actors but I haven't seen anything on my screen to indicate that.
  18. You missed that one in 2015? It was one of my favorites and remains so. I cried during it too and unlike any of the Hallmark movies that year it touched my heart
  19. Andi wrote a whole chapter in a book dissing Nick over the sex and saying he killed her ladyboner
  20. Pixl will be airing Love on the Vines on January 7th Summary: Diana has to work with Seth to save her uncle's vineyard after he dies. CAST: Margo Harshman ... Diana Armstrong Steve Talley ... Seth Vincent Brittany Underwood ... Amelia Catherine Mary Stewart ... Jill Hanson Samantha Figura ... Suzy Hanson DeVaughn Nixon ... Theo Wyckoff Jack Wagner ... Grant Gerritson Erinn Westbrook ... Liz Preston Danielle Langlois ... Adriana Gerritson David DeSantos ... Tom Kirkbride Parker Harris ... Paul Gerritson
  21. She is a teacher the silly part is making her a teacher who decides to go back and compete with what looks like teens. Storyline via Hallmark: Emily James (Julie Berman), a former Olympic figure skating hopeful who walked away from it all, now waits tables and teaches young kids to skate at the local rink. When former student Nikki (Anna Golja) begins training for Midwest Regionals with energetic (and handsome) coach Spencer Patterson (Andrew W. Walker), Emily begins to wonder 'What if...?' when Spencer suggests Emily still has what it takes. Once Nikki's domineering mom Mia (Gail O'Grady) gets wind of Emily's intention to also compete at Regionals, Emily must prove to herself that life is about taking a chance: at the comeback of a lifetime, and at love
  22. I thought the music was better and more believable as mainstream hits than the music Ive heard from Empire
  23. Yeah Lee was selling fantasies for sure between that murder and meeting the producer at the strip club. For the most part I could believe everything else outside of that but it was so glaring and hard to ignore. He could've left the shock value crap out. It's the same nonsense that ruined Empire by the end of season 1 for me
  24. They styled her like a teen. I think the synopsis said she starts training a young skater and then has "what ifs" and decides to return to the ice. Like Shanna said even 25 is a stretch so this is one of those instances they should've cast someone younger and made the character a little younger.
