  1. I ended up zoning out due to boredom with this batch
  2. I live in PA too about 45 min from Lancaster. I'll watch and report back.
  3. When she’s written out of her show, her relationship and her seemingly perfect life, reality TV star Ann Stanway leaves Hollywood and finds herself marooned in Amish country. But when Ann is taken in by the owner of a nearby Inn, and meets a handsome young architect, she discovers that the reality she left isn’t nearly as perfect as the one she’s found.
  4. We joke about the white Christmas' in these movies but Erie actually had a white Christmas this year
  5. Vanessa Morgan who is a Canadian actress and currently stars on Riverdale had tweeted her frustrations about it last year.
  6. Snowed Inn Christmas, Wrapped Up in Christmas, Christmas Princess, Angry Angel, and Enchanted Christmas were the only ones I enoyed this year. And if Lifetime is gonna do those mini movies next year they need to make them more interesting and work out some sponsorship deal where they can be commercial free.
  7. And every year the CEO has a BS answer to this question. 1 movie out of multiple is not enough. I'm familiar with Melissa De La Cruz having read a couple of her books when I was a teen. I remember liking Fresh off the Boat when it had been released. If you're gonna brag about incorporating non white writers how about incorporating diversity onscreen for the projects their names are attached to? Every year they give an answer about it being a process. They're doing movies almost every weekend during the year it shouldn't be that long or difficult of a process. They have no problem casting well known black actresses in their movies and having them take a backseat to their lesser known leads. And they really need to stop using Canada filming as an excuse like they don't cast American actors and actresses all the time and as if Canada does not have non white actors.
  8. Hallmark used to have some great movies with depth before they switched over to makingv only rom coms with no comedy and little romantic chemistry.
  9. I've come across a few folks who take Hallmark very seriously. Especially the people on the Its a Wonderful Movie blog. Hallmark is life for some of them and they dedicate alot of time to find details about new movies being filmed and when they'll air. And don't you dare say anything about those movies other than calling them family friendly masterpieces. Tha movie was Lifetime not Hallmark but I agree.
  10. Finally watched Enchanted Christmas. I was a little thrown by her Alexa PenaVega's character having a French last name that is not common in Latin America but it was nice they actually made her character latina and showcased a latino couple. I actually thought she and her husband had decent chemistry so I was surprised by how harsh people were on this movie compared to some of the other Hallmark ones this season. The dance at the end was cute though the snow felt forced. I liked that the daughter wasn't a little meddler. Rick Garmon who wrote one of my favorite Pixl movies Late Bloomer wrote this movie.
  11. I have HMM and I really don't see a dramatic difference between the Christmas movies it airs compared to the regular Hallmark channel. At least not this season.
  12. Yeah I wasn't a fan of that movie and I recall wanting my time back after I watched it back when it first premiered. I'm watching Christmas Cruise and Nick Viall's acting is painful
  13. These moms are clearly living through their kids and always posting stuff their kids would never say.
  14. Hallmark doesnt like too much comedy yet they continue to make mainly from coms. The irony.
  15. That's why I ended up changing the channel. Lead grated my nerves and so all into the commercialization of Christmas which she was trying to force onto others.
  16. Who in real life have you seen strong popcorn on their tree? And why would some grown ass adults be concerned with someone not putting up decorations.
