When she’s written out of her show, her relationship and her seemingly perfect life, reality TV star Ann Stanway leaves Hollywood and finds herself marooned in Amish country. But when Ann is taken in by the owner of a nearby Inn, and meets a handsome young architect, she discovers that the reality she left isn’t nearly as perfect as the one she’s found.

Disney Channel Original Movies - General Discussion

They're pushing it hard core and it looks horrible -
Snowed Inn Christmas, Wrapped Up in Christmas, Christmas Princess, Angry Angel, and Enchanted Christmas were the only ones I enoyed this year. And if Lifetime is gonna do those mini movies next year they need to make them more interesting and work out some sponsorship deal where they can be commercial free.

And every year the CEO has a BS answer to this question. 1 movie out of multiple is not enough. I'm familiar with Melissa De La Cruz having read a couple of her books when I was a teen. I remember liking Fresh off the Boat when it had been released. If you're gonna brag about incorporating non white writers how about incorporating diversity onscreen for the projects their names are attached to? Every year they give an answer about it being a process. They're doing movies almost every weekend during the year it shouldn't be that long or difficult of a process. They have no problem casting well known black actresses in their movies and having them take a backseat to their lesser known leads. And they really need to stop using Canada filming as an excuse like they don't cast American actors and actresses all the time and as if Canada does not have non white actors.

I've come across a few folks who take Hallmark very seriously. Especially the people on the Its a Wonderful Movie blog. Hallmark is life for some of them and they dedicate alot of time to find details about new movies being filmed and when they'll air. And don't you dare say anything about those movies other than calling them family friendly masterpieces. Tha movie was Lifetime not Hallmark but I agree.

Finally watched Enchanted Christmas. I was a little thrown by her Alexa PenaVega's character having a French last name that is not common in Latin America but it was nice they actually made her character latina and showcased a latino couple. I actually thought she and her husband had decent chemistry so I was surprised by how harsh people were on this movie compared to some of the other Hallmark ones this season. The dance at the end was cute though the snow felt forced. I liked that the daughter wasn't a little meddler. Rick Garmon who wrote one of my favorite Pixl movies Late Bloomer wrote this movie.

These moms are clearly living through their kids and always posting stuff their kids would never say.
