It was more like last-in-a-lifetime -- she said it was most likely the last time she'd be able (or invited) to tour. -

I can't stand Guy Fieri, either! I tried watching one of his shows, but just couldn't get past the first couple of minutes. -

Ugh. 2/5 this week.

What a terrible game! Not that I would do better, mind you, but man, some of those responses were bad. That said, I did not get FJ. Sorry, Alex, I don't automatically think of Camembert when I think of Brie. But I did get a lot of TS -- and there were a LOT to get -- including sacraments, Chichen Itza, Mark Harmon, Royal Caribbean, Nez Perce, I-10, interplanetary, cowboy, and Hunter S. Thompson. What was up with how slow Audrey was in picking clues? I think she spoke more slowly than Oprah.

I initially thought about "Georgia On My Mind", but the year made me dismiss that one. I was able to come up with "Sweet Home Alabama" in plenty of time to write it down. I also got Polo, Beatles, and granny boots.

My Big Fat Coupon Chopper. Boring. I either need to change my name or move.

What was up with Sarah there at the end? She looked like she was getting really angry that new champ kept beating her to the buzzer -- all the hair flipping and such. I did not get FJ, though I should have. I saw both those movies in the theater. The only TS I got were Blue and Black Beauty.

Maybe a break is what Dan and Louise need. He'll miss her while she's away for three months. You never know what you've got 'till it's gone. Hopefully they can get back together when she returns. -
I had not the first clue for FJ. Even when the answer was revealed, I had no idea. But I would like to thank Schoolhouse Rock for all the parts of speech that I got that they didn't -- Interjection!, adverb, and preposition (although I can't actually remember a preposition one). I also got cirrus, Gibralter, General, Horatio, and Leakey.

I freely admit I thought the same thing.

Faux Life: Things That Happen On TV But Not In Reality
Browncoat replied to Kromm's topic in Everything Else TV
I actually do have slippers next to my bed and a robe draped on the foot of the bed. I don't use the slippers in the summer, but I use a robe year-round. I don't have an en suite, and I prefer to wear something on the trip between the bathroom and bedroom after a shower. -
I actually had no idea for FJ, but picked Frost just because Jeopardy! loves Frost. Imagine my surprise (and glee!) to find out I was right! I also managed to get the Everglades, a good man*, A Tale of Two Cities, Bodhi tree, and maladroit. *Not IRL, just on this game 🙂

Mackie's ice cream is delicious! I can do without Irn Bru, though. I am headed to Scotland in June, and I'll have a scoop of ice cream for you. 🙂 And lots of Galaxy chocolate, which I love, though I usually avoid milk chocolate.

A former co-worker and I actually rolled our eyes and said, “Dumbass.” when we heard about the first plane hitting the towers. We both thought it was a tiny plane, with maybe a student pilot, and how the hell do you miss a great big building like that? We were horrified to learn it was a great big plane and that it was deliberate. We stayed at work, but no work got done.

3/5 for this week.

I don't think I've ever read a Danielle Steele book in my life. I had absolutely no idea who FJ meant -- I could have sat here for decades and not figured it out. But I did get a lot of TS! And there were a lot to get! The ones I got include hasty pudding, Ludlum, Three Mile Island, Ocho Rios, Pieta, Gauguin, cerebrospinal, and genetics.

FJ was another instaget for me. As for TS, I only wrote down sutures, Black Angus, and love. I was unfortunately distracted by news of the untimely death of a friend, and missed a chunk of the game. 😞

Well, I guess Lau got to continue on to Hawai'i for her honeymoon. FJ was an instaget for me. I visited there many years ago, and rented a car. It was a regular American car with the steering wheel on the left, so it was a little odd driving it on the left side of the tiny roads. I have often said, "Make like a tree and leaf." I only got the TS of begone.

I finally got to watch last night's game, and I got FJ! Good for me! I also managed the TS/missed DDs of hermaphrodite, echidna, John Wilkes Booth, umber, and agitation and propaganda.
