Why doesn’t Mika just sit in Joe’s lap? She’s leaning so far towards him this morning that it’s a miracle her chair doesn’t tip over.

Has Mika always blurted out words while other’s speak? During the Tuberville discussion, she would blurt out word that were unintelligible. It was weird. What’s up with that?

So Mika just said on the show to Lemire, “You know me, I don’t lie.” She, who lied for years about having an affair with her co-host, said this with great confidence. The lack of self-awareness is strong with these two.

On a day when Trump’s taxes, hundreds of January 6 transcripts, and the perilous state of McCarthy’s bid for speaker are just a few of the headlines, this show is in rerun mode by 8:30 ET. Why did they bother to go to 4 hours when they don’t like to work that much? They’ve been checked out since I started watching, and now they are gone. Every time I check in, they remind me why I don’t watch anymore. Off to watch an old Law & Order.

Joe, just now: Elizabeth II was the “Victoria of the Elizabethan age…the second Elizabethan age.” What does that actually mean?

I don’t watch that frequently anymore - maybe two or three times a month. It struck me today how much Mika seems to be patterning her on-air demeanor on Joe’s. Now it’s not just sighs, but also talking over people, having her own rants, and cutting people off. Do we really need two Joes? And this leaning forward into the camera - what’s up with that? Today, when she interviewed Rep. Luria she did a mini-rant lead into a question. Honestly, Joe and Mika should go to Licht’s CNN. They pull this stuff every time. Last time, they were going to CBS. It’s ridiculous. Just give the show to Steph Ruhle and Ali Velshi. That would be a smart, informative show.

So turned on the show today to see Mika and Michael Steele talking about guns. Mika has become worse than Joe. She didn’t agree with Steele so she overtalked him and told him to stop so she could make her point (that the gun safety bill would “open the door” to Rs agreeing to further gun legislation). Then, as Michael Steele responded, she leaned all the way forward on the table, which brought her closer to camera and she, quite visibly, rolled her eyes. She then moved on to Claire, who said they were both right. (Still a politician.) If the program is four hours of Joe and Mika loudly proclaiming their opinions, just stop having guests. They both treat those with differing opinions so disrespectfully that it repels me as a viewer. I switched over to L&O:SVU.

They just will not say that the McCarthy audio was obtained and first played by Rachel Maddow. They keep saying “MSNBC obtained…” Their pettiness toward Rachel runs deep.

So this morning, after clutching the blue and gold scarves at the top of the show to pull them more into the shot, Mika has been leaning over so far towards Joe it’s a miracle that she hasn’t fallen out of her chair. What’s with all the leaning? My issues with Joe begin with his continued support for Republicans as demonstrated by his bothsidesing every issue and continues with his veneration of Mika’s father (which is always how Joe describes him). So, with Mika it’s style (she hasn’t demonstrated substance) and with Joes it’s substance (no style there - hello fleece!). Is this hate watching?

Thank you, Kemper! It’s just - she undermines her own platform every day with her performance on the show, and today was a perfect example of it.

How does a tribute to Madeleine Albright become all about “my father” on this show? And then it becomes about Mika? That piece sums up every reason I stopped watching.

She’s a disaster today, but reading is hard especially when that and empty gestures encompass your whole job.

Two things that struck me as I watch: - Should a purported news show so readily demonstrate it’s taken a side like they are through the scarves and the sunflowers? Yes, supporting the Ukrainians is right and important, but as news people shouldn’t they let the facts bear that out? Oh, right, it’s Joe and Mika. - Doesn’t Mika listen to the words she reads? Today she talked about “getting to the hearts of the Russian people” just minutes after reporting on the disinformation being spread in Russia and how the media, including social media, is under Putin’s total control. She truly is performing for her base. It’s the weirdest show

I dropped in on the show for the first time in ages and heard Joe say “yes, dear” and one call the other “sweetie” and Mika in a bathrobe! I know you’ve all discussed it but seeing it is a shock. Have they gotten more self-satisfied? What is this anymore other than “At Home with Joe & Mika?” What a weird place this show has become.

Joe rants. Mika rants. Joe interrupts to start a rant. Mika speaks under her breath during Joe’s rants. And occasionally they ask a guest a question that they interrupt and answer. That’s the show.

Does Mika always tell Joe what he actually meant when he said something? Joe went back to explain how important Bernie was to Biden’s campaign and Mika two or three times interrupted to say “what you meant earlier...”. Since when does that happen?

Mika and Joe having been speaking very loudly all morning. Makes me long for Willie’s segments and his conversational tone. Now Joe is speaking directly to Pence, who undoubtedly doesn’t care what Joe has to say. I’ve watched this show three days this week and it has given me a headache every time. I can’t believe I was ever a daily viewer

Thank you. She seems to be winding herself up more and more with every passing moment. I rarely watch since their move but all the news has me back. The contrast between the lack of control from Mika with the smoothness of Willie - it’s just jarring. His control makes her look unprofessional.

Serious question - when did Mika become Joe with all the yelling and ranting? Does she not realize that when she speaks over Joe we can’t hear either of them? She seems really out of control today which makes Joe seem calm and rational. And it’s only 15 minutes in...

Mika sounds crazed. Joe is restrained and thoughtful. What is going on?

I haven’t watched in a long time but have the show on today. Does Mika regularly blurt stuff out loud but under her breath, talking over people and making everything that’s being said unintelligible? I turned the show on for the first time in months this morning, just as Joe was scream ranting. What was that about? Dude, no one needs that at 6 in the morning. He did remind me of why I’ve stayed away. So, I turned on Psych.

Mark Halperin. Chris Matthews. Donald Trump. All friends of Mika and Joe. All given air time and/or relentlessly promoted by Mika and Joe. All powerful men who objectified and allegedly harassed women. All defended by Mika and Joe, who blame the culture instead of the men. The culture that should be under a microscope? That at MSNBC/NBC. And Miss KYV should be leading that charge like Maddow has done by publicly taking on her network. But if today showed us anything it’s that Joe and Mika are comfortable in their rarefied world and will strike back if that comfort is threatened. I can’t watch.
