  1. As a fellow Buckeye, this would be awesome...although I would hope it wouldn't be a speaking role, as I'm not sure he would be able to pull off the accent.
  2. As soon as I saw him, I said out loud, why is the Mountain in this Bud Light commercial...since I'm the only one who watches the show, the rest of my family didn't get the reference. Then he crushed the Bud Knight's head, and I got really excited.
  3. While it could be read that way, I think it's more of just GRRM naming three of the more popular characters in his quote. Although honestly, I don't expect any of those three to die.
  4. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised to get Sean Bean sightings in Seville.
  5. Pedro Pascal has been cast in the upcoming Wonder Woman sequel. http://ew.com/movies/2018/03/28/pedro-pascal-wonder-woman-sequel/
  6. Maybe now that Thoros is dead and in the books, Beric is dead, they can be the new Brotherhood without Banners.
  7. As someone who was "charged with the defense of King's Landing when you were soiling your swaddling clothes" he would have known the consequences of openly defying a direct command from the Lord Commander, or if he was in charge, defying a command from whoever gave his orders. And since there is no "let him take the black" for people who have already been sent to The Wall, it was off with his head.
  8. When I read the article on EW here, I took it as they were making shows based loosely on GOT, not necessarily follow-up shows. I was thinking more along the lines of Dunk & Egg, The Dance of Dragons and maybe Robert's Rebellion, stuff like that. If it is just true spinoffs of what we already have, I can't see this as something I plan to watch. Worse yet, is of the four proposed shows, two of them are confirmed as having GRRM as a contributor. If he doesn't stop messing around with these TV shows and get back to work on the last two books, I may have to think about tracking him down and flogging him mercilessly.
  9. I watched about 15 seconds of it, realized that I had better things to do, and moved on without commenting "fire" or "dracarys." I did read a few of the comments, though, and some were pretty dang funny.
  10. ...And the winds made it hard to record the dialogue between characters. The insider continued, “High winds caused words to be ‘whipped away’ — shouting became the norm. And despite the cold, there was an issue with a lack of snow in the lowland locations. For the first time in Game Of Thrones...it can accurately be said that Words are Wind...
  11. I re-read that about 20 times looking for an alliteration that maybe I missed, ultimately thinking maybe I don't really know what alliteration entirely means. I'm glad you said that.
  12. No, Gendry's mother was never specifically named. Just another of Robert's bastards.
