My big question about A Christmas Family Tree was how did a social worker I’m assuming that was her job or something like that) afford that giant apartment in NYC. When the family came at the end I couldn’t believe how big it was. I was wondering if maybe it was left to her? But she ended up in foster care so that didn’t seem likely.

Honestly, Maddie was barely able to stay awake the 5 days b4 ep, she woke up right before Chimney went to work and slept through her Dr appt and lunch with Josh until he called hoping she hadn’t left. Even if Maddie was ok why isn’t Albert or the mom figure of Chimneys helping Maddie? But Chimney has seen she can barely stay awake and he left her alone for 5 days? It honestly makes no sense. the alpacas freaked me the hell out. I was honestly surprised Athenas generator was even still running. They require a lot of fuel, and I’m sure people went to gas stations to stock up in droves. Solar panels I can understand. And I agree the mom and her son going to the woman’s house made a lot more sense. Because I watch too much crime Tv, the cut to the neck did look pretty shallow. No follow up and not finding out until 5 days later made no sense, at the very least making sure with everything happening the prisoner was secured in.

This episode took 2 weeks to film, and the OG Ducks had to quarantine for 2 weeks first because of Covid protocols. That’s one of the reasons some of the people who don’t act anymore couldn’t come and atleast part of why Joshua Jackson couldn’t. And yea Goldberg has had a rough time of it so that’s a whole other can of worms. i really loved seeing the reunion, although considering he owns, and lives, at the rink Hans left him, it’s not like they didn’t know where to find him. My theory is Charlie did show up there at some point and met up with the jaded jerk he first met all those years back and was done with it.

This is actually about last episode, but for some reason it just occurred to me so I decided to put it here so someone might see it to respond. So last week Jack and Estefan were celebrating their one year anniversary. And Grace left to go travel immediately after the wedding and got pregnant while traveling. How long was she traveling that she’s still pregnant, and it doesn’t seem even half way through the pregnancy?

I don’t think the writers have changed. I know one of the writers for the show, she has only written a few of the episodes, but has been with the show since the beginning. I do know that the first season one of the producers wrote a lot of the episodes, and the Christmas special, and now the rest of the writing team is doing more, but they were all involved the whole time.

No one ended up giving up their shade, because they didn’t steal the moon rock, just made security think it was stolen by having Kady look like the daughter, who was the only one that could have stolen it, which distracted them long enough for them to take their attention away from the vault.

I feel like the show was also trying to highlight how often people think bisexual men are really just gay. If you noticed Fiona mentioned her boyfriend has dated more woman than she has, meaning she’s also bi, but that was kind of breezed on past. There’s definitely a double standard that women can be attracted to both sexes, like Karen, but if a guy is, he’s secretly just gay.

So in one of the many ways 7th Heaven makes no sense...Sandy has sex with Martin in June. They even make sure to mention it was June. The season goes along and there’s a Thanksgiving and a Christmas episode, then Sandy gives birth, an episode or two before the Valentines episode. How exactly did Sandy manage to experience 10 months of pregnancy in 7 months? And no one questioned this at all? I’m assuming this was supposed to lead to it being Simon’s baby right? Even though she claimed that wasn’t possible when asked since she and Simon had happened “last year”. Which also wasn’t possible since they also said Sandy was right before Rose who didn’t show up until around April. I’m also kind of surprised everyone’s attitude was just, well she says it’s Martins, must be true. Then again proximity to a Camden seemed to really increase the odds of either a pregnancy or pregnant scare if you had sex before marriage

Way late on this but Caroline was actually sired by Damon. She was in the car accident and in the hospital and they weren’t sure if she would make it. Bonnie felt guilty, because her lie about not deactivating the Gilbert device indirectly caused the accident. Damon offered his blood, Elena said no, but Bonnie told him to do it, so he did. Then Katherine smothered her with a pillow, killing her. So Damon sired her, but Katherine killed her.

Ugh please tell me Collin isn’t crying over the fact that June has to leave, because Anastasia goes back to third strew. Yea it’s too bad, But really if he’s gunna cry about it and try to leave his own job for her, I’m gunna be really disappointed in him. I hope I’m wrong and that isn’t what happens.

I think if they did bring Izzie back it would make sense for the story to somehow be about the embryos that were created with Alex’s sperm. It seems likely, if not definite, that the only way she can have biological children is with Alex as the bio father.

Apparently that last scene wasn’t originally in the movie. The main 4 actors were talking about there being no “cuz we’re rotten to the core” reference in the last movie and they went to Kenny about it, and he and the 4 talked to the writers. So that might be part of the reason why that was a little strange. Cuz yea Mal’s Mom is a lizard, Carlos’s mom seemed abusive and Evie and Jay’s parents were probably the least “bad” since they mostly just seemed self involved and narcissistic.

If it was a rerun(which it sounds like it was) I don’t think anyone can tell you what the date was. There were no new episodes of Degrassi that aired in December of 2009, the show was on hiatus.
