Just because everyone tells you to date someone, doesn't mean you have to, Oliver. And, please tell me that- as another poster noted- that you figured out the security officer who passed along your movements to a reporter known for mocking you and your administration and fired their ass. I am tired beyond the telling of TPTB and their Dumb!Ollie happy times. Please let me have Scary and Smart Oliver like we had in Season 1.

Possibly. There might be more jokes about how "ironic" her powers were ( whatever they ended up being) when her name is Snow. Then again, we might have flashbacks from this Cisco describing the trip to E2 and meeting an evil Caitlin with the same powers. The writing of "Caitlin must be Evil" falls into the lazy, simplistic, binary-thinking that seems to have set up shop in Central City. 'Omgwtfbbq! Caitlin has powers we saw a totally different sentient being have! Our Caitlin absolutely will automatically be Evil too!!!!!' Because Caitlin with powers isn't allowed to be Good, period? A gray-morality Caitlin would be more refreshing. It would reflect S1 Thawne-Wells and her relationship with him. It would keep potential tension in future moral dilemmas and/ or have a trusted ally be able to call Barry out, yet have her motives be questioned as well. As someone else posted, why does Cisco feel so sure it's him and this Caitlin? He's seen more future visions and Earth-2, once. Why couldn't it be a hint of something waaay further in the future? Why doesn't Cisco question how he interprets these vibes? Why doesn't Joe, our skeptical murder police and sometime co-conspirator ( like when they went to the Allen house)? I flared with a brief anger over the overly simplistic Wells=Evil. I get angry not because barely anyone outside of the Star Labs folks know this, but because the Star Labs folks know this and continue to refer to Thawne as Wells to each other! Why? They- and we the viewers- know the truth. Why should they speak of Wells when they have dealt with his Thawne-faced Time remnant? It's just lazy bs, afaic. WestAllen. *sigh* Couples can sit close to each other, Show. PDAs don't have to be embarrassing. Pecks on cheeks and passed notes are okay as well. Why not have Iris and Barry go bowling? The last time was a strained, not-quite double date. Why not have the group blow off some steam that way? Or have WA on a date there and have some goofy bet, like some couples do? (Like, if Iris wins, fresh Coast City grub for a week; if Barry wins, he picks the next four movies for Netflix and chill.) I am not big on HR, but I think we aren't really to enjoy him as much as tolerate him. I may be incorrect about that, but it's how I deal with him so far. I have been enjoying Julian and enjoy that one trip to the bar hasn't made Julian an insta-pal. I think Julian and Oliver would get along, re: Barry. I have my problems with various bits and pieces, but overall, I am still entertained. The mention of all the gorillas got me hoping for a trip there in the nearer future. I still enjoy the show and I'm excited for the 4-parter coming up. ::hopes we keep Julian for another season::

I, too, enjoyed the episode! IA about Sara getting to stretch her ninja-assassin muscles against a warlord and that Mick was like a kid hoping to catch Santa. Others have touched on my minor gripes, so I won't duplicate here. I was curious if the trees we saw in the 'feudal Japanese forest' were anywhere close to what Japan could have; the group here is pretty knowledgeable, so ITYIA. Next week looks to continue the fun and silliness! Anytime Martin gets uptight makes me smile.

While that is true, in a comic called Infinity Inc.- about heroes who were children, family or mentees of the JSA- there was a second Dr. Mid-Night who was a black woman. She had been mentored, medically, by the Golden Age Dr. Mid-Night. Both were blind, iirc, but either pills ( a Golden Age staple/trope) or something with the goggles let them see. I think the show split the difference. I enjoyed this episode and didn't expect to feel attached to any of the JSA, but I was hoping to find out more on all of them. I am excited at the prospect of Vixen adventuring with out group. ( I think that Amaya may have a relationship with Mick that's similar to Sara's, but because both ladies appreciate the skills and mind he brings to the table. Amaya may feel she can be bluntly honest with him as that's kind of his thing.) As to CGI Nazi, was that potentially Baron Blitzkrieg? I also kinda missed Damien Dark's mug. He and Thawne have eminently slappable / punchable faces, but they are fun to watch. Also, congratulations for the show getting high marks for the week!

This seems obvious, but I think Wally and Caitlin are going to end up under Alchemy's sway. One wants powers so bad and one is scared of her powers. They seem like obvious targets. Maybe I'll be wrong, but no one just calls Caitlin "Frost" when they speak of her powered persona.

I know I'm showing my age, but I am hoping to get a Mary Richards/ Lou Grant feel between them eventually. I like Ian Gomez, so I'm willing to wait for Snapper (#NotMySnapper) to be Kara's Mr. White. (Hee; Clark:" No, I didn't mean to imply you missed me.") Add me to the Miss You Cat group. Also the David Harewood/ J'Onn fan club. The scene with Kal in the Fortress of Solitude was very good. I disliked how entitled Kara was written. After the first rebuff, S1 Kara would have comeback with at least one good argument or have a story about what she just did ( Clark possibly giving her some advice for her first day?) But no, she was a stammery, whiny, entitled person who went crying to Cat. Then the whole "I feel so alone" which I thought was dealt with last season. And? The inviting of Clark to Sister Night. Either postpone it a night or ask Alex first. I know I sound all down on the show, but I hope the good writers from S1 got to join the CW crew. I was beginning to wonder if Barry was contagious once you met him. You knock down a Metallo? Good. Both of you nutty El kids grab an arm and swoosh him into a detention cell at the DEO. He can still be all smack talk and threats, but he's off the street. (Yeah, The Plot Demanded It. That is not a good reason.) I'll be back to find out who Shirtless is next week, though.

I realize that the show is titled The Flash, but why couldn't Jessie talk Magenta/ Frankie down? There was no real incentive for her to just trust Flash, but a young woman who has some parental ish too might be a bit more relatable? Why not showcase the new superhero of Central City in the episode that is supposed to be Jessie Quick's hero debut. I agree that Frankie should have stayed with the gang for training, quarks. I also thought, in order to keep Frankie from total character limbo, they could have said that Clarissa Stein was willing to take Frankie in. Clarissa is obviously not too easily ruffled by metas and seems like a kind, nurturing woman. Plus, anyone giving those ladies trouble would have to eventually face Martin and Jax, which could be fun! ICAM with quarks' comment on Harry telling Barry that Barry never forgives himself enough. Really? I had a "Dinah Laurel Lance- always tryin' to save the world" flashback and it wasn't fun. To be fair to Barry for a moment, maybe wherever that marina/ dock area was, Barry was going to return and finish the date? Psst, Show? If you're going to have Barry leave Iris somewhere, make it close-ish to Central City or in Star City specifically-- or even Coast City and Iris calls up Linda Park? Just so we know that Barry is thoughtful enough to not expect his date to take public transit back down the coast on a reporter's salary, okay? Or have them talk about contingency meeting spots if something goes down. Just a sentence that shows they have put some forethought into this relationship. I love Julian's seeming stupidity. He could simply be book-smart/ experience-dumb, or he could be a baddie that just sussed out Barry's secret. Despite the weird ego-stroking to Barry, I am very glad to have Harry back. I liked how he kept using "Snow" and "Caitlyn"; he was Papa Bear Harry and at the end of his tether. It really should have been a big red flag about Harry's mindset if he came across dimensions to have folks try to change Jessie's mind. I agree with others that I like some of what I'm seeing, but there are almost too many Shampoo/Rinse/Repeat beats that I'm getting bored by. ( The let's not tell folks who have every reason to love and help me a big secret. Parents are overprotective a-holes. Barry is so put upon. Joe is missing that his kids aren't totally honest with him.) (Also? What is up with the 2nd daughter diss? Just tell Barry he overshares, which isn't only a girl thing, otherwise The Incredibles couldn't have jumpstarted the "monologue-ing" thing.) It's only three episodes in, but at least Iris is still working as a reporter. (Maybe Kara can share experiences with Iris in the crossover?)

Please no.^ I am glad that someone finally told Barry that he was not acting heroic. Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you have to all the freaking time. Also, was that the third or fourth time someone told Barry in simple language to fix the mistake(s) and he decided to meddle in the day-to-day of "Not His 'Original' " team? (Felicity, I love ya, but the lactose intolerance probably don't like pudding much. Just sayin'.) I did like the inclusion of Cisco's scene where he is angry at Barry's refusal to (essentially) bring back Dante. It was a good scene, but I felt the end line was a bit clunky. Barry hoping that Cisco can move forward too was rich coming from Barry. Yes, Mr. Allen has finally gotten to where he thinks he can move on, but really? Timing! I loved that there seems to be a bit more depth to the team, but I feel that it was a cheap way to get there, especially as nothing was really wrong with them in the first place. The changes feel like TPTB trying to please folks who didn't like cheerful, upbeat Cisco and that Caitlin needed powers. Now, there are potentially great stories with the way things are now, but I didn't feel that stuff was too broken. (I am disappointed that Iris isn't a cop, but I can deal with that by interesting Draco Malfoy being a suspicious CSI. I know, right?) I just hope that Iris is given more to do, character-wise, as the season rolls on. It was just Episode 2, so I can wait a little longer. I just am not sure how much I trust the show. I'm somewhere between Iris' faith in Barry and Draco's non-trust. Here's hoping I can move closer to the Iris end of the spectrum!

I loved Misty and Simone Messick was wonderful as the detective. I look forward to more Misty on Netflix. ::crosses fingers for Daughters of the Dragon, if Colleen is as wonderful as Misty::

I enjoyed the series immensely as I gobbled down the season in a day. Two days later, I re-watched the whole thing with the hubby. I will be asking Santa for the soundtrack, definitely! Old school R&B with current hip hop and rap? And Sharon Jones sending us out on our melancholy way? Just right. I was another hoping Claire was talking badass Foggy. He works at Hogarth's firm specifically to handle superhuman cases, so I think Luke fits the bill. I am also one of the embarrassed who hoped the gunfight at Harlem's Paradise was how she got her bionic arm. I'm sure there is mayhem in her future, so there can still be time for bionics later. *g* I was so happy and impressed that Sonia Braga is Claire's mom! No wonder Claire turned out to be such a badass. Also happy to see Sandra Sohn; she was on Miami Vice the last time I saw her, I believe. For me, while Willis was the more physical threat, Mariah was the eventual Big Bad. She managed to wiggle out of closed nets despite Misty's efforts. I wonder when Mariah will turn against Shades/ Hernan, if she hasn't already started planning. I was disappointed that Misty lost her cool at Mariah so soon after a) she was disciplined for the same and b) another cop was caught and disciplined for actually beating on a kid! Yeah, the tech guy actually could have waited. His information was important, but if he'd bothered to listen in on the session, he would have realized that Mariah willingly taking a deal was better than breaking the flow of the detective and Inspector's interrogation. The main folks we are supposed to care about, I mostly did. Pops and Bobby Fish, Misty, Patricia and Lonnie, Aisha, Genghis Connie and her husband, Turk and, of course, Luke himself. Claire I liked since Daredevil S1, so I didn't need to have to like her, as I already did. I was saddened for Luke as he kept finding out Reva had never really told him The Truth. Still? I think Reva did love him and Dr. Burstein is a cynical ass who wouldn't believe Reva actually could love someone, especially someone she could be sending to their potential death. ( Btw, sloppiest hard drive breaking, ever! I know, I know...plot contrivance.) I loved that Scarfe, while dirty as Pigpen, was one of the best detectives in the department. I think I enjoyed this slightly more than Jessica Jones, but they are 1a and 1b. Not that I wasn't thrilled with Daredevil, but while I enjoyed season 1 of that show, Season 2 was mixed and Matthew had personal troubles, I wasn't as fond of him as I was in Season 1. With that said, though, I find the Netflix shows more entertaining than a lot of current TV/cable/web shows. Soooo...they're filming Season 2 of Luke, right? XD

I am really enjoying Kenneth learning how to be a part of a whole other family. He is currently not even aware of how he impacts the other kids, but I sort of hope that Kenneth helps Dylan find her running spirit again. Maybe even as unknowingly as he got her thinking about why she runs in the first place. Kenneth's enthusiasm for JJ to be cool, as fun as that is,is at least is tempered by understanding the job is about JJ. Seeing Jimmy and Kenneth be united for JJ over something could be a neat angle for an episode. But this is three episodes in and I am loving this show so much!

John Ross Bowie is a stealth MVP, in my opinion. He balance's Maya/ Minnie's outsize energy with enough laidback to be a Lebowski. Jimmy keeps tabs on his other kids, knowing that May's laser-focused on JJ. He knows when to roll with Maya and when to point out when she's going overboard. The talk about what other people think with Ray was a great quiet moment in the latest episode (B-O-N-Bonfire). I hope he gets much more attention with Jimmy and the show!

Michael clarified that the phrase "in the tub", as Das FlavorPup mentioned, was too much for the list the contestant was supposed to give. If the gent had kept the clue to "rubber ducks", that would have been fine.

It was cool to see Snoop so competitive and Sugar Ray so laid back. (We got a double dip with Snoop; he was on Pyramid just after this show!) Mr. A and I will be trying to use 'pie in the horse' in conversations whenever we can! *g* The women of the Ali family were looking sharp! They also totally nailed Fast Money.

In my post, I stated that the question was not area-specific, i.e. the holding could happen anywhere, so 'steering wheel' was reasonable, even if it didn't appear. As to the tree thing, I just mentioned it because it was fun.

Undercover Boss? Where he berates employees for poor service/ job performance and then berates other employees for not spotting the badly disguised employer? Bait Car? He comes out after the thieves are caught and opens up on the arrestees? Or, in harnessing that energy for catharsis, Animal Cops? Where Affleck is allowed to melt the ears off abusive assholes who have endangered or worse to their pets. Or he can take over for Alec Baldwin and host Match Game. *g*

Not all of the questions seem...inspired. There are the naughty jokes like the Schweddy Log ( which I thought was okay, but I understand now why they threw that in), the middling ones like Ted Cruz/ Mission: Impossible and Hugh Hefner/grotto questions, and there are the ones like the Rock/Bieber one where it's hard to come up with a good answer or joke, though I did like Horatio's answer better. (What? It's the WWE; they'd use that probably.) I'm not offended, as such, just that innuendo is fun because it's subtle and as teebax said, this version has none currently. Then again, there was a contestants who seem to not understand what the point of the game is, despite having practice runs in even getting on the show, I imagine. Also, the bit answers showed up again. Not helpful, celebrities. Acceptable bit: Using two or more cards for an elaborate, actual answer, like Charles Nelson Reilly or Brett Somers would do from time to time. Unacceptable bit: Not answering at all, or explaining your not-close-to-the-question answer saying you couldn't think of anything so whatever you were thinking. It's not like there are rules against looking or asking someone for their opinion/answer. (The only time I didn't like it last night was during the individual matches. Let Rosie or whoever ask for help first! It's not like Rosie needed help in the other portions of the game.) Still, it's pretty close to Match Game and , for now, that's better than no Match Game at all.

I was surprised that in the second Fast Money Easter (When do kids get dressed up?) was a goose egg. Couldn't that be swept into an answer of 'church'? Despite the flood of ads for that holiday/observance, does no one dress up for it anymore? Also, in the first game, I did not get why Steve Harvey got all over the gentleman who answered "steering wheel" to the "I never argue with my wife when she is holding [blank]." I, too, thought gun, but after 30 years, Mr. A and I try not to argue when the other is actually driving, a.k.a. holding a steering wheel. Who the heck would hold a steering wheel in the kitchen? The question said nothing about kitchens specifically. Baby was an answer that was roundly applauded, but is not kitchen-specific either. Though, I enjoyed it almost as much as the NFC gentleman when the AFC gentleman replied "Driving" to "Something some people do sexier than others." Also, also? Trees.

There may be a choice given to the contestants and they choose to give. It was like that on the daytime version. Mr. Clark would ask on the way over whether the civilian wanted to give or receive, so you knew as they cut to ads. It is weird that I haven't heard the question, but that doesn't mean it isn't asked. Eugene the Superfan would probably have massively wanted to give the clues in the Winner's Circle as it was a dream to get to the Winner's Circle. Doesn't mean they'd be great, but that's the chance. In the first half hour's first round, I don't know why Rachel Dratch and Christine weren't allowed to try for a perfect score? Yes, they only had to get 20 points, but iirc, they just needed one more for 21. Granted, not that Christine would've won anything extra, probably, but I would think that achieving a perfect score would be a point of honor/ bragging rights. I was rooting for Rachel and Christine, but why would the judges walk back Christine's "memory" ding for the category 'Things You Remember" in the Winner's Circle? In the second half hour, I just could not believe that Robin Roberts could not figure out tomatoes for taco category. Mario Cantone, who's rep kept Mr. Actionmage from watching that episode, was wonderful. Please invite him back! I was stuck as to how to more concisely describe Skype. A phone call over the internet? ( Apparently, you can use other platforms, but Eugene didn't seem to have Mario in the ballpark.) Oh, and the roommate category? One description could have been 'because I can't make rent by myself." I know, Monday morning quarterbacking. I think the pull of Pyramid is that the viewer understands the frustrations of the game.

Cop: Hill Street Blues Old, not-very-diverse show: The Big Valley Jay-Z could write either or both.

Transplant Dallas to Calgary! Both have an oil and cowboy history, but the latter will have the most polite backstabbing on TV. Also? The Calgary Stampede could take the place of The Cattlemen's Ball, possibly.

Raisin Most Horrid, an anthology about characters,played by Dawn French, who either sneak raisins into food or are plagued by people who could care a whit about her deadly raisin allergy.

We can go one of two ways: * through the music angle-- a cool band of chicks just made the scene, but they are turned off by the vibe creepy Chuck is sending out. The leader, Josie, and her two friends, Heather and Melody, lay a trap for Charles and his creepy friends. Alexander and Alexandra, the twin managers, help out. Everyone then rocks out at Brian Wilson's place! *A stoner is looking for his missing pet. The stoner's friends are also looking for the pet. Charles is deciding whether to keep the dog for himself or to use it for something else. Charles and the pet's owner meet and hit it off. The stoner's friends figure out where the dog was taken and find him in a garage. The group hear their friend's distinctive laugh, leave the dog, leave the house and call the cops, reporting a dognapping and a possible kidnapping. Charles' last words as the police took him away? "You meddling kids!"

Mr. Actionmage and I felt that there were bits at times and that's not cool as they are trying to help civilians earn cash and/ or prizes. I wasn't a big fan of Mr. Baldwin's as is, but I can appreciate his acting and comedy chops. I felt he wasn't awful, but he also wasn't good. I watch Buzzr and the MG '78 episodes; as much as I have problems with Gene Rayburn, he was still a bit better as a host. I generally enjoyed the panel, more when they were really trying to answer honestly. I liked that Rosie was moved to gift the cruise to that one lady; that was a very generous act. I am glad to hear she seems to be having a good time! The contestants? I wasn't impressed with the first ladies, though they did have energy to spare. The second set of contestants was better, but again, neither really impressed me with their gameplay. That the Rolling Stone/Viagra question did not have the contestant give "Satisfaction" as an answer was surprising. ( The person could have overthought the answer and decided against it, but this is Match Game, not Jeopardy!) It was like the "hickey " answer in the first half hour. I'll probably watch if I like the panel, which looks like it will be new every two episodes(?).

Likes: *The feel of the original was evident, including the original theme *Contestants can choose to give or receive the Winner Circle categories *Neat vacation locale! *The new viewscreens for the contestants/ celebrities *Michael sitting down after the description of Viagra. Dislikes: *The dark stage with bright blue lighting; while not The Weakest Link or 500 Questions, it's dark, even during the "lighter" play. That's just me though. *No tie-breaker with letters *Too much screaming from the lady in the second half hour. I thought she was okay, but dang. I get after winning money, but after every category? (Not to take anything away from her play; she was a very good player.) Definitely more good than bad, so I'm in for the rest of the run.
