  1. We are told/shown how amazingly funny, kind and gregarious TJ. However, he was so rude to Nell when we were first introduced to the character. If he was so awesome, he wouldn't have been so outwardly unpleasant to her.
  2. Is anyone watching the limited 20/20 series that air Monday nights? I believe the first was over the summer and focused on the layout of homes where murders had occurred? The second had something to do with deadly love, and now this one, focusing on interrogation room interviews. They are just retellings of past 20/20 episodes. However, last night's I hadn't heard of before. Woman's good friends are murdered, she swears it was her ex-boyfriend, but she confides in her current husband, who tells the cops. At this point, between 20/20, Dateline, and 48 Hours covering the same cases numerous times (Dulos and cyclist murder again this past weekend??), it is nice when the case is new to me!
  3. Fun Friday cliffhanger, though we all knew it was coming. Is the "stay tuned/next week" scenes new? I've never seen them before.
  4. Anna must have access to makeup artists-- none of them can cover up her chin blemish and the scratches on her cheek before a big event?
  5. *small voice* I actually enjoyed the Claire/Eve dream sequence. Nice to see so many characters interacting together. I also thought the actress that plays Summer was having a lot of fun being OTT with the material.
  6. I agree. The conversation a couple months ago about how Finn and Poppy were super close a year before Luna was born sealed it for me. It would also explain the pure rage Li has against her sister.
  7. He has them over on Days-- I thought maybe they were for his character there. To each, his own, I guess...
  8. I didn't realize we had a NuSloan today until her second scene. In the first scene in their apartment, I just thought the actress dyed her hair a more flattering color. The two actresses sound and look very similar.
  9. I started Season 1 of UK months ago, but couldn't remember where i left off. Do not scroll through the episodes if you don't want to be spoiled on the remaining contestants! It has taken away my interest in finishing the series. I may crack into the Australia version as their episode pictures mainly show the host and not contestants.
  10. Dulos case (again) with new info following his girlfriend's conviction this week. Instant delete from me. At least I have last night's 20/20 to watch...
  11. I recognized the actress playing the Senator, but couldn't place her. Had to look it up-- she played Lupe on Home Economics, another good half hour comedy on ABC.
  12. Earring (right before she leaves, she is only wearing one). I kind of thought they looked cool. Maybe my read is wrong, but I took Zende being upset to show his remorse about the situation. He feels bad he was intimate with someone who was drugged, and he feels bad she was so visibly shaken by the encounter. I feel we don't see that regret in male characters after negative sexual experiences (to the point he was crying and it was weighing on him) a lot on soaps, so I appreciated that. Also, I buy that Poppy's mints are herbal, since we have been told how "free spirited" she is all the time.
  13. Yes! Though I haven't watched 48 Hours yet, I figured it was the same case, since the DVR recap mentions a woman only getting 120 days behind bars. The same case, especially during the same weekend, usually gets an automatic delete from me, but I am also curious to see how 48 Hours presents the story. (I've never heard of this case before, which makes me more curious to watch another telling of it-- if this was one we've seen covered multiple times, I wouldn't bother!)
  14. I am basically spoiler free now that my beloved Soap Opera Digest is no longer printed, so it was a complete surprise to see Xander. He's looking good! I am glad they are addressing the Thomas/Emma storyline-- I know it's been brought up for years on this forum. I've hesitated posting this because I do not want to seem insensitive. But throughout the Eric storyline, I found it a bit puzzling that many of the characters were in complete, total shock that Eric was dying. He is not a spring chicken, as the saying goes. (The actor is 79 IRL and the average lifespan of a caucasian male in the US is 77). It would have been more realistic if the storyline happened with Ridge, IMHO, who is 57 (at least TK is). All that being said-- I don't post much, but I get a lot of joy and amusement out of this forum. Thank you, and Happy Early New Year!
  15. Say what you will about Days, I was extremely happy it aired five episodes during Thanksgiving week-- we never see that with the network soaps. Christmastime is my favorite time on soaps because of the set decorations and Christmas instrumental background music, so regardless of December's storylines, I'm looking forward to watching.
  16. Well, that's a wrap! I enjoyed it and would watch another season.
  17. Yeah, I just am not interested in watching another Murdaugh recap with some new info sprinkled into it. In the past, I've definitely given five hours over weekends to the three network true crime shows (Dateline, 20/20 and 48 Hours), but I can't remember the last time I did. The three all seem to be covering the same cases. Last night's 20/20 was the same case Dateline had on a couple weeks ago.
  18. I was not planning to watch this... but I am :) I watched the US seasons 1, 2, 3, and 5, and have no recollection of Ray. I like that the format and feel of the show is the same as the summer version. I found myself laughing out loud (like when Cely couldn't bust through the wall and the guys were all doubled over laughing). It's a fun show, what can I say? The ending had me hooked. I guess there is no viewer voting aspect?
  19. That's what I thought, too, and plays into the opening credits. Also, one of my favorite stories from childhood: https://www.scaryforkids.com/the-red-spot/
  20. Possible UO, but I always love the soaps' teen scenes. The actors are green, they are sometimes cringy in their line deliveries, but I find it overall endearing. It's nice to see when some of the actors go on to larger careers (or the ones we get to see for decades like Nadia). I was somehow unspoiled by the SORAed Tate and Holly, so it was a pleasant surprise to see them. I like Holly, she reminds me of the actress Meg Connelly from American Housewife and Disney's Zombies movies.
  21. I'm sure Friday's last scene will have very mixed reviews. But I loved it. So soapy. This is what I adore about the genre.
  22. I believe my issue is similar to this? When I now click on a topic within a forum, it brings me to the page one, first post of that topic. As of a few days ago, it used to take me directly to the last unread reply. I have tried logging out and logging back in. Could you please assist? Thank you!
  23. Yeah, I've noticed more CC goofs recently, not just on Y&R but on B&B, too, a lot with the name "Hope" which now sometimes isn't capitalized if it's within a sentence. I don't know much about generating the captions-- is there an actual person who transcribes it? If so, is this a job that has now been given by an AI/Bot?
  24. Old Theo is playing Faux-Theo. I love this and didn't realized it until I saw the article on Twitter: https://soaps.sheknows.com/days-of-our-lives/comings-and-goings/676742/who-plays-jerry-former-theo-terrell-ransom-jr/ "Though Fake Theo’s real name is Jerry, he’s played by Terrell Ransom Jr., the young actor who played Theo as a kid from 2008 to 2015!"
  25. I have had the song stuff in my head too, and I hate to say it, I kind of love it. I know, I'm basic. I'm kind of surprised that it hasn't popped up on SiriusXM's Tik Tok radio-- they seemed to play "All For Us" a lot when Euphoria aired new episodes. Maybe that shows that The Idol isn't hitting Gen Z as they hoped it would?
