I'm going to be more out of touch today due to a family emergency - no kidding, not to overshare but I arrived at my grandfathers' house a few hours ago to discover that he's been sleeping in his living room chair for three days because it hurt him too much to move. BizBuzz, I know you have no reason to trust me but you've got the gist of it and so if I'm not available, I give my voting power to you.

It was nice to be surprised about how things ended. I was sure that Skye's mom was going to die again.

On the entomology section of the Calypso wiki page, it said that one of the possible meanings was "wily."I've learned such a vast amount of trivia from trying to play this game, that I'm basically obligated to donate to Wikipedia next time they have a fund drive.

Nah, I've been encouraging of discussion all game. I even volunteered to close the CuriousParker vote so that we'd have more time to discuss. But your "little friend" put an end to that. "FU Anonymous," Drogo? What an outrageously rude thing to say to someone. Doesn't seem like you. Unless you're both in on the joke. We've got plenty of time for discussion. But I only become more sure the more I think about it.

BizBuzz, it means that for reasons I've heavily hinted at and Lady Calypso's death revealed, the villains really, REALLY would prefer for my fellow heroes to kill Deathlok for them. Hey, Jesse, any reason in particular you don't suspect Drogo, or does he just seem like an alright guy from the short time you've known him? And, actually, no, Drogo. I said in an earlier post that I think there are two villains. Never, ever suspected that there's only one left. Heroes, vote for Drogo. We've got them.

So... at this point, I feel like if Drogo is in fact a villain, tomorrow is going to be victory Day for the Heroes. I hope I'm not the only one understanding what's happening right now.

My thinking is because we know that SilverStormm wasn't recruited, Jesse. If there were 6 villains to start with, a 7th recruitable would have been stacking the deck against the heroes. ETA: I crossposted again. I didn't think the egavasc clue was any more valid than the CuriousParker one. It was when she mentioned that she'd missed the Athena (iirc) DL because she took a nap, that I decided to make a precision strike and hope for the best.

I appreciate what an active player you are, Drogo. Who do you think the remaining villains are?

Well, damn, Bob. But now that Drogo's inclined to knock away clues pointing at you, I don't know what to think. What can I say, you never forget the first time you play Mafia and the person you trust turns out to be the non-metaphorical devil. It makes me feel better knowing that on the relatively uneventful Drogo wiki page, there's a freakin' "Ferrari 250 GT Drogo" to link to "top speeds." (http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drogo) Oh and Lisin cleared caprice before she got taken out, Biz, or else a few of us would still be harping on "cappricio." I'll vote because everything he said makes sense, not because I trust him. *pouts, kicks dirt* 3 to DL Drogo (SVNBob, BizBuzz, JayKay) 3 to see if Biz is right and Drogo really is another five letter name

Even if I'm not ready to eliminate any possible clues/suspects yet, I'd still prefer to wait for Bob anyway. Mostly because it gives me more time to re-read the stories with a much shorter potential villain list in mind. Drogo, I've never seen Top Gun, but I appreciate alternative interpretations of things that jump out. I'm thinking race cars or race car drivers, so I'll look into that tomorrow.

And Trip, right? Is Trip an NPC too? He killed Whiskey, who was an NPC. I believe I know what happened to Lady Calypso, and it had to do with me. It has to be due to what happened yesterday but I didn't know it was even possible because we'd already lost two investigators. There's hasn't been a character with my abilities in any of the games I've played, so I'm pretty sure TJ was partially referring to my character when he mentioned "twists" early on. But I'm a Hero, even if it's really hard and I'm just a scary lame duck at this point. I noticed "top speeds" from the Night story, but couldn't find a link to any one. Also, viper - venom, poison, reptile? But nothing there yet. I also want to hear Bob's defense, just to close the book on that sled thing.

Thanks, Drogo, but I think posting them backfired and only made Lady Calypso suspect me. I *really* didn't want to close that vote (especially like that) but you guys were one vote from ending Day and I didn't want to be killed without at least posting stuff I'd found but was unsure of. Egavasc posting that she took a nap was like a siren going off because I'm pretty sure I used that excuse for missing a DL when I was a villain. After what happened to CP in Day 1 from that parking clue, I'm still a little gunshy on posting stuff that could be convincing. It freaking sucks that we lost SS, but at least she went out a hero. And R.I.P. Skye, you were the one I wanted to survive the most. I'd say we've still got two villains out there to worry about.

I've read about it and seen early gameplay footage, and my feelings are basically the same. I don't know anything about the plot, though. Are they a boyband on a road trip? I think I'm more interested in a remaster of XII to be honest. I can feel the pull of the Rare Hunts calling me just thinking about it. And imagine those terrifying summons with more pixels. Brrr.

"Oh oooh oh! You're a master of karate and friendship for everyone!" Yep, that song is catchy haha. And yep, Biz, that's the one with Danny DeVito. I only asked because it crossed my mind but then I realized that the show is so bizarre and vulgar that if nobody watches it, a game about it would be a trainwreck.

Vague, tentative question for the far distant and very possibly non-existent future: Does anybody else in here watch "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia?" I'll try one if those grapefruit rums now. Sounds good and I like citrusy stuff.

I've been surprised to find many audio versions of books that I want to read on Youtube. I can't speak as to the legality of them because I have no idea. But listening to Neil Gaiman read a Neil Gaiman book is pretty great. I usually get annoyed by character "voices," but with him it all feels right. Audiobooks make me miss long drives, because they're absolutely perfect for them.

And we've seen much ickier things to choose to believe didn't happen while characters were under various influences, if that's how we're denying what's shown on-screen and portrayed as narrative. I loved the confrontation between Sir Malcolm and his wife. That was just what I needed to hear all last season, and it'll be easier to root for Malcolm now that he's been slapped down by someone with the moral authority to do so. I see Frankenstein & Son, Creepers Incorporated is back in business and going strong. Yech. That plotline's only gonna get nastier from here, I'd bet. Madame Cali is I guess supposed to remind me of Elizabeth Bathory? I like the actress, and it does appear that Vanessa has met her match. The "no one can help me!" routine won't go over well when those witches starting picking off the people trying to help her. I still want to own the soundtrack or score to this show.

There were some very cool, funny and exciting moments that had me grinning, but that ending. Stole the wind from my sails. The movie's fine, but I think I finally hit that unthinkable point with the MCU where I'm ready for a breather, and don't have much desire to return soon. I didn't track Natasha from the end of The Winter Soldier to this movie. Was it the same character? Did Joss watch that movie? I just... running from her problems seemed like an out of nowhere coping mechanism for Natasha. I was really confused about why her story was playing out the way it did. Scarlet Witch is one of my favorite comic characters and she was great. I actually laughed when she waved a hand and cleared away the mind control power over the doctor from Loki's staff. The first movie would have been a lot shorter if she were around. I've been apathetic about Vision before, but like Hulk in The Avengers, I loved him here. And Pietro. Ugh. I'm so bummed. I was looking forward to future films that built on what got started here. First Marvel movie that left me depressed after it ended. Maybe if I watch it again knowing the hit is coming, it won't color my reaction and I'll enjoy it more.
