I don't have a pastime of staring at Stassi's boobs or anything but I was also thinking they looked much larger than usual. Perhaps she just hides them well in regular clothes?  And she has gained weight (a good healthy weight) so maybe they have gotten larger again after her reduction.

  2. I'm all for Amber making Alex try things at least once but the haunted house is a big NOPE!  I don't care how lame they all thought it was, I don't do haunted houses either and I'm 36. And how awful of that person to run after him!

I did go on a haunted hay ride a few years ago and I was not prepared for how in your personal space the 'actors' plan to be. But thankfully we had a little girl really freaking the eff out so they nearly all broke character to make sure she was ok. And she was even excited to go on it. But I am thankful for her because it made my trip much more pleasant lol

I let out a loud grown whenever they cut to Salinas.  There's just something "off" about it to me.  The interactions go so smooth they almost feel like a training exercise OR they are so clueless and bumbling.   They are looking a bit less facially manicured lately.  I wonder if they heard the criticism.

For awhile they were actually filming new officers training in actual stops and cases so that might be what you were thinking of. It was a little bizarre to watch but I guess they have to learn somehow.

So I think it's Nye.... where every officer looks a little goofy (but nice) and one guy was the dopiest of them all and now suddenly he's sporting a beard, backwards hat and civilian clothes with a 'detective' vest.  I mean he's actually kinda cute now.. but I can't forget how dopey and needy he was to be cool.  Did he get a promotion?

I’ve worked a bit in tv and sometimes for larger events they will just post notices at the entrances that filming is going on and that by entering you are consenting to being filmed. I wonder if that’s what happened with Chris finally showing his face. I didn’t pay enough attention to notice if anyone else at the party was blurred.

Was I the only one that said "omg he finally signed the release!" - but this makes much more sense. The guy should just sign the release and make some money though - his face is plastered all over the internet.

So I'm not a mom... those that are mom's... is what Chelsea kept doing in the car normal?? Do you just pull over constantly to try and appease the baby? Can you not just keep driving and get to your destination and then try to handle it?  Just honestly curious. Because that seems very overwhelming and distracting.

Sometimes when kids come home to visit, they might stay with their parents, but largely be using the house as a home base in order to visit their friends.  So Kody is undermining that additional source of visit reason, by minimizing the opportunity for the kids to build close friendships that would endure enough to warrant a visit back home.

I hate to say it but Robin was right.  The kids don't have any connection to the Flag staff house so they won't be that eager to visit.  My parents moved to a different state when I graduated from college.  I used to visit them about once a year or two but it's been years now since I've actually gone to their house. They visit me about 3-4 times a year so that probably helps. They still have friends in my hometown so when we would go up there I actually excited to just go to that town.  I have a connection to my hometown. I don't have a connection to my parents new town so it's not that important to me to visit. Traveling there is a pain in the ass too. Long drive to the airport and coming home it's usually always a super early morning flight.

Why the f-- did Christine buy a temporary house? On the one hand, I know that mortgage payments can be lower than rent, but if you can't sell the damn thing before you move to the permanent house, you're stuck with an extra mortgage. So, that leaves the four houses in Vegas (or three now that one is sold), the land at Coyote Pass and Christine's temporary house. Oy vey...

Their reasoning was that the finding rental homes there were hard to find so Christine's only option

Let me guess--there's only 1 bedroom in Meri's part of the house! I guess she'll have to rent some office space in downtown Flagstaff to run her LLR business since there won't be enough room in her apartment in the "big house". But 19 bedrooms total -- 1 for each parent (5), 1 for each of Janelle's kids still at home (2), 1 for each of Christine's kids still at home (4) and 1 for each of Robyn's kids (5)--then I think Kody also wanted an extra guest suite for Janelle's mom (1), and 2 extra guest suites for Robyn's parents to visit and for Dayton (2)= 19 bedrooms.

I was confused at first too because i thought there is noooo way Meri will agree to having a 1 bedroom.  but Meri's has more than one bedroom.  We didn't really see the 2nd floors so her additional bedrooms (maybe only 1) were not shown on the main floor plan.

Does Briana realize child support isn't a weapon to be brandished at her convenience? It's money that Stella is entitled to. If Luis moves to Florida, shares custody and it has to be adjusted that's one thing, but to take him off altogether? She really is the Queen of the Idiot People.

That was such a bizarre statement.  Like oh hey, now they're actually helping (and probably not financially) I'll be nice and take you off child support.   Is that even possible!?!?  If someone is court ordered to pay support can the custodial parent terminate the order at whim??? I feel like that shouldn't be a thing.

Havent watched, got some bad news last pm. The ONLY reason I dont like the Linds is that they do not follow the rules set up by the court. If they are allowed to see Aubree,  but Adam cannot be there they have to follow through with that. I get that he is their son and they love him unconditionally but if they want to see their granddaughter they have to follow the rules or get the rules changed. Aubree's such a smart kid at some point she is going to resent Cole and Chelsea not letting her pursue her relationship with her dad. Chelsea and Cole need to put aside their feelings and do what's best for their daughter.

With most grandparents I know... they love their grandkids even more than their own kids (my parents included lol) They will do ANYTHING for their grandkids.  So I give the Linds major side-eye that they can't get their heads out of their asses about how their son is a piece of shit.

I think the Linds do have court-ordered visitation. Because I kind of remember Chelsea saying something about how she would be in violation by not taking Aubree there; BUT that they're violating the order by allowing Adumb over. She, honestly, needs to go back to lawyer and present all the times the Linds have gone against the order. Let the legal system officially deal with it.

But if it is court ordered then i don't know how she can decide they need to 'take a break' or is that what she was discussing with randy in that ADAM would have to say she's in contempt of court, and since Adam won't do it then she knows she's safe with restricting visits?

    10 hours ago, TheRealT said:

I think Chelsea understands that she very much has the upper hand in terms of legal rights to Aubree and she passive-aggressively/tacitly uses that to effectively silence Donna in their communication (or lack thereof) around Aubree. The mature thing to do when these conflicts arise would be for Chelsea (as Aubree's mother and the person with the most control in the situation) to tell Donna what her expectations/demands are (e.g., "If Adam shows up when Aubree's there, I want you to tell him he has to leave. It's not ok if you call me to pick her up, but he ends up being with her in the meantime."). It seems that she doesn't say that, or anything, but she expects Donna to figure out what she wants.

ummm the court order is very specific - ADAM CAN'T BE THERE - that is the expectation. No if's, and's or but's about it.

    7 minutes ago, Christina87 said:

Well, it seems now that the breakdown in communication is what the Linds should do if adam just shows up.

Or just her shithead father grinding on her about not doing the exercises enough.

The doctor had me confused when he started going on about the variance in curvature. I did a little reading to see if there can be a variation. What I found was there can be a difference between clinics and different people doing the measuring, so that is why it is important to have the same person doing the measuring from appointment to appointment. Dr. Camp has been doing the measuring on screen, so there really shouldn't be that big of a variance (44 but it could be 38). I also found that surgeons recommend surgery at 45-50 degrees, depending on the tilt/rotation degrees.

My scoliosis wasn't diagnosed until I was in my 30s. It is nowhere near 40+ degrees. Yet, I have had one spinal fusion, one diskectomy and still have another herniated disk ready to blow. I am in constant pain. Christine and Kody need to pull their heads out of the sand (or their asses) and stop scaring Ysabel. She also needs to spend some time with actual scoliosis patients.

But wasn't it only Christine and Kody saying the variance could be that large?  I thought the Dr. said the variance could be a couple degrees either way so it was possible it was still a 42 or go back to a 42. Then Christine said she wanted to call it a 39 to make herself feel better.

I was also struck by the fact that while Ysabel has heard horror stories about pain from people who've had the surgery, she has apparently never spoken to anyone who has not had the surgery and should have had it, about the pain and disfigurement untreated scoliosis can cause.  I wish the Browns would be introduced to some young women whose lives have been changed for the worse since they did not have corrective surgery.  For example:

What's kinda weird is that at first Ysabel said she was doing so good.. doing the exercises for 1.5 hours every day. And then after the appointment she said she wasn't doing them as much as she should have.  Crappy editing maybe?

I don’t think the compound would have a basement. They are very rare in the area unless the home site is on a slope. 1500 sq feet seems like it would be plenty though! We moved from a house with an unfinished basement to one without one  I really miss the storage space

However, I think the compound talk is just a story line. There’s only so much moving talk that can be tolerated.  I would be shocked if any local builders would take that on. Home building is booming (and stupid expensive) in the area. I don’t think a builder or any legit contractors would want to take the chance on a home that would break all sorts of regulations and get on the wrong side of the inspectors.

Yea I doubt they would have a basement.  I meant my parents new 1500 sq ft house will have a basement and that extra storage space helps a lot but I still think a 1500 sq ft house with no basement should be plenty for Meri.

Now I, myself, as a single person and no kids would like a 4 bedroom house but I've got plans for all those rooms and none of them include filling them up with unsellable clothes!

1500 sf is PLENTY.  my parents are downsizing and building a house that will 1300-1500 sf and it's huge! 3 beds, 2.5 baths, open kitchen, dining and living with a mudroom and laundry.

I think last season she said she had quite a few coaches as well so her "a year ago it was just me" statement I think is a little wrong or maybe not in terms of how soon they film from season to season.  Also, see my statement below.

I apologize if this has already been addresed (I’ve been able to read many, but not all, posts on this episode thread), but here goes:

At the stretched-Vneck-dinner, Dorit mentioned that she had told Lisa that she was going to rehome the dog. Lisa corrected her and said that Dorit had told her someone was coming over who might be interested in the dog. Whatever the case, wouldn’t Lisa have taken that moment to inform Dorit that if she didn’t want to keep the dog she should return it to the rescue? That’s what confuses me.

I just sat in on an adoption of one of my fosters and they have the same policy - if it doesn't work out, bring it back to the shelter, do not give it away (and I've had a few fosters returned). However, they said if you know of a friend or family member that would like the animal then they would happily transfer ownership to them.  So I have a feeling that's how it went with Dorit.  Lisa was probably not pleased Dorit didn't talk to her but I'm sure Dorit embellished on how she knew this person and how lovely this person was and how loved the dog would be (because we know Dorit loves to embellish) and Lisa probably trusted her judgement because they're friends and then the dog ends up in a shelter and not back at VPD.

I’m wondering how Chelsea is going to implement a “break” with Aubrey’s visits to the Linds. Aren’t they court ordered? She would probably have to tell the court that they violated the order and have a judge agree to suspend the visits. Is she really going to go through all that?

I really don't think they're truly court ordered... because I think it's really hard to get grandparent visitation ordered by the court.. but I think it's more of an agreement that Chelsea likes to stick to, because Aubry enjoys it.

Adam doesn't.

I think there's a very slim chance that Adam would be automatic custody.  I think Cole would have a great chance of retaining custody, since he will have Aubry's half siblings or worst case scenario the grandparents have to duke it out between themselves.

I don't think Aubree was in any danger at the Linds. With that said, I'm sure Chelsea's attorney told her to be a stickler about the court order. Adam's family seems to be a "give an inch, take a mile" type of crowd, so I can understand not letting them slide one time only for them to keep doing it in the future.

Exactly - see above. And Adam doesn't deserve any allowances.

  22. I didn't think the hat looked bad out of the box but when they showed Meri trying it on it did look VERY tall.  I didn't think it was that outrageously different than the crazy one she said she liked in Seattle.  Which was not the one she ended up wearing to lunch that day.

My issue throughout the entire 2 hours was Aspyn's behavior.  It was bizarre to me, not just at the wedding, but, throughout.  She just seemed too flippant, ditsy, silly, and trying way too hard.  I posted about her on another thread about whether TLC was portraying her that way, but, now I'm wondering if they were just airing what they saw.  I'm shocked.  Such a lovely young lady.  I wonder if she will ever mature anymore at this point.  It's difficult to imagine that she is in college. I actually thought Kody's speech was okay, but, the man is an egomaniac.  I think he knows it though.

I was a bit surprised at her nervous behavior too - she turned into her mother and couldn't quit talking when nervous! I hope Mitch had seen that side of her before he married her.  Not that it's a no-deal type of thing but it was just a little like -holy crap, contain yourself woman!

I’ve watched this show long enough to know that the officiant is a Plyg relative. He is Meri and Kody’s brother-in-law. Married to Meri’s sister. I guess calling him a friend is easier than saying “Aspyn’s father’s first wife’s brother-in-law”. 🤷🏾‍♀️

They actually stated in that same scene that he was Meri's brother in law.  Meri said "he was my brother in law first" like it was some sort of competition.

When she popped up with that comment during the "Adult" sit-down, I had to wonder where the Brown Fambly $$ Committee was at during those negotiations. So Christine just gets to make an offer on a house, on her own, without any discussion from the other four? Like @bichonblitz said, she is now paying a mort on both the LV house and the Flag house, plus paid into property. Her financial status HAS to be precarious and a possible drain on the fambly resources. Also, did the BF$$C make any restrictions on renting the Flag house, like they have to be under a certain dollar amount so they don't run through every last dime they have somehow grifted out of thin air (ROBYN)?

I thought it was very odd they were finding rentals on their own with no input from each other what so ever.  I'm assuming Kody probably gave approval to have Christine purchase the house. Always looking for a quick business opportunity that Kody... rental market is low so buy and rent later.  Not sure how well that will work out for that 7 bedroom house. And rentals only work when they're affordable.

Did I mishear? Did Robyn say that the mega mansion she is renting costs pretty much the same to rent as the other houses? So a 7 bed/5.5 bath home costs the same to rent as a 3 bed/2-3 bath house? Where they do that at?

Christine's has 2 acres which is probably why it's as expensive as a 7 bed/5.5 bath house.

Is this in the public domain or did they have to pay to use that song?  Not a huge fan of it.  Yes it is an earworm!

They added the song into the footage so I'm thinking the version they played on tv was probably public domain and the one they actually played at the wedding venue was not.  Can it work like that?

Where is the friend that was telling Karl last week that she needs to talk to Javi and be mature? Is she ousted now?

Kail said she lives 3-4 hours away I think so she's not around all the time.

I think Becky is who Kailyn is referring to in her post about ditching a girl who loved her for Chris.

It sounds like the agreement was to just cancel it. Barb probably didn’t find it to be worth the drama since she had money from the show.

I think it’s Bone or Dom.

I think for sure its Dom. I don't think Bone was a lesbian. And Kail and Becky are still good friends.
