I have always loved Roger Howarth over the years, but hated that they made him Franco! That being said, Becky Herbst has always been my favorite on GH since we were both teens, so when they paired them I thought, "Well I hate it for Liz, but at this point I'll just enjoy two of my favorite actors together because nothing makes sense on this ridiculous show." So while I'm not SAD they killed Franco, I knew Becky would deliver on her scenes today and damn, she and William Lipton got to me today. I'm assuming it's Todd coming back and frankly I hope it is because I can't do RH playing yet another character. I do wonder if it's Todd what that storyline looks like, because I don't think they will immediately pair Todd and Liz: but where does Todd fit on the canvas right now?

I think that country and Christian music fans(it's been talked about previously how the "God songs" always resulted in huge itunes sales) vote for this show a lot. it does explain how some people in those genres who are mediocre go further then really great singers in other genres. That being said I agree with the posters who say obviously everyone has different taste when it comes to music. I can recognize that Mari was a talented singer, but she really didn't do much for me. Every single person who went home last night had previously been saved by their coach, there were literally no surprises. I'm a country fan and a Blake Shelton fan, and I hope they never do the cross battles again, because I prefer to see more variety as it gets down to fewer contestants. That being said the producers are idiots to not realize this would happen, i knew it would be incredibly slanted in Blake's favor as soon as they announced the change in format. Well, for what it's worth I think the finale will be Blake and John with two contestants each, and if Maelyn can come up with some better/slightly varied song choices I think she wins and Gyth is second. I really think it comes down to song choice at this point.

I loved Julie and Gabi today, it was soapy and fun! I knew Julie was going to wind up at the bottom of the stairs but I thought that was a classic soap homage to SSH's 50 year run on soaps. My only concern is how they write Gabi out of this mess at this point, because I like Camilla and I don't want to see her go. I'm the rare viewer who pretty much likes all the characters involved in this story, so I don't want to see any one character completely destroyed (except Stefan, but I hated the actor on GH for years too). I wholeheartedly agree that the writers missed a huge beat in this story by not having Gabi and JJ fall back in love throughout this storyline, it would have added so much more depth. Being in love with Gabi would have been why JJ would refuse to see what she was doing to his sister, and falling in love would have rocked Gabi's plans and left her trying to find a better way out. I am also probably biased because JJ is hands down my favorite character these days and the show doesn't give him anywhere near enough to do! Please, please don't have JJ mooning over Lani again, she is so incredibly boring.

Man, Sonny and Gabi aren't going to tell JJ about the cheating?! Ugh! And if my cousin and one of my best friends knew that the person I was going to marry had cheated and lied and they didn't tell me!?!? I'd be pissed.

Okay, the Mike/Liz scene was the first time this show moved me in months. Aside from a few good episodes during the Faison return/Nathan death storyline it has been painful to watch.

She was awesome, but I do hate the back loading. They left room though.

I've never been a huge V/M fan, but even I can admit that they were light years ahead of everyone else on the ice last night (except the Shibs twizzles)! The fact that C/P could be ranked ahead of them by two judges is completely absurd. If I was judging it would be V/M, Shibs, P/C, then H/D (who might be technically proficient, but leave me completely cold).

I'm just so happy for Nathan! That's all I wanted, for him to skate the way we knew he could!

That just sucked the life out of that room. Hanyu was utterly amazing, completely deserving of that score, but I don't know how Nathan could follow it. Ugh. I really just wanted everyone to skate clean. And yes, the media pressure on Nathan has been unbelievable.

Ugh, poor Nathan! That was painful to watch.

I hadn't heard anything about it until this morning. It definitely took away all the joy I felt watching Shaun win last night. So disheartening.

That was amazing, and really all I needed from this Olympics was Shaun White getting that gold. Everything else is just icing on the cake.

I could not have been more turned off by the "sexiness" of H/D free dance. That's the exact style of ice dance that drives me crazy. I knew the Shibs wouldn't win after that stumble, but I really loved their free dance. I even preferred Chock and Bates free to H/D, and I am not a huge fan of them. Ugh, I hate to think the Olympic podium is going to be three of these ridiculously over the top "smoldering" routines!

I loved today's episode. I'm probably a sucker, but I do love JJ and Gabi and hope the show puts them back together. Their wonderful scenes, interspersed with the Horton ornaments was great soap. Lani misreading the moment at the end and maybe pushing her into an irritated Eli's arms could make for a great love square if the writers want to invest in it. I agree with posters above that they need to soften Abe's anger, hopefully his conversation with Jennifer helps, I don't want to dislike the shooting victims father. As has been pointed out he was a cop forever, and in a similar situation himself, he should be devastated, and angry, but there should be some begrudging understanding of JJ's situation in there as well.

I loved yesterday's episode, but any excuse to have Jack Deveraux back on my screen I will take. I know it would be ridiculous to try and bring him back again, but I would still be okay with it. Casey Moss has been fabulous throughout this entire storyline.
