Haven’t posted in forever. I agree with your statement about Keyra about this photo. I am a black woman who has danced professionally and unfortunately it’s not many spots for us. There is another brown skinned beauty that can outdance/perform you. Keyra should have tread lightly with her being so new. (Sorry to beat a dead horse). I understand that a photo can be deceiving but it’s like DCC rising veteran/rookie class photo at every audition year. Keyra was too haughty too fast. I think former DCC, Jacie was her cousin, she was besties with Ceresten/Erica from undergrad and befriended Jenna on her journey/connects to DCC. She admitted that her weight and looks kept hindering her from making TC the four times she auditioned before. She barely got in with her numerous connects the fifth time. She always was hanging with a cancerous crowd. Being aligned with Erica and Jenna probably sealed her fate besides being tardy and no having a “yes ma’am” attitude. I’m quite sure Ceresten had an arrogance about her, but she performed to K&J’s standards, maintained non probmatic DCC slim figure and always was “humble” to K&J. Even Jenna had an entire Humble Pie to enjoy her final season. While Jenna did not get to enjoy PBC, point, All-Star or other “DCC faves” privileges her final season she got to keep her GL status and bow out gracefully because she “played the game”. But Jenna also had 4+ years of service to DCC but embarrassed the org which marred her relationship with K&J. After last years’ scandals...Kelli was taking no chances on having toxic people on the team thinking they can get away with murder. This happens every 7-10 years with any org. Do y’all remember the mass exodus of our faves 2010-2011 Team, I believe Trisha/Crystal Trevino, Tobie, Tia and other “party/mean girl clique”. Final thoughts: Keyra if you’re reading this...go have a lunch with Jackie Bob and have her mentor you. Use this as a learning experience for future opportunities. Beautiful dancer, just young and inexperienced in life. Thank you for coming to my TedTalk.

Am I the only person who thinks Victoria Kalina's dancing in Michelle Keys videos are not that good. I think they toot her horn because of her mother's relationship with Kelly. Its like she's too lose or trying to be too sexy and its corny. I think she is a talented lyrical dancer. I think Dayton is way better at hip hop.

Sorry...but I asked this question in the "former DCC thread" but why did Michelle Keys retire so young. She just celebrated her 28th bday. She could have been a 5 year girl with Sydney, Melissa and Captain Hook.

So I have a few questions maybe someone can help me with. 1) I was on YouTube and I stumbled upon this video with former DCC Leah Lyons (pre-MTT). She was cute as a button. I lurked and noticed that she was only a DCC for one year. Wonder why? 2) The atmosphere on the team today. I wonder if the "mean girl era" has ended with the exit Cassie or are the girls really good in hiding it. Again...I'm a day late and possibly and 15 stars short....

I see. The Bar Method seems like a good alternative to people like me who hate yoga. I've never taken a class but I wonder if they teach the cecchetti and vaganova method.

As a former dancer. It took me 3 months to get back into shape/see results after a injury I sustained en pointe. I took a 1-1/2 off (mind you I was 14 when I returned to dance). Not sure how strenuous the barre method classes are but you may want to do 2-3 (1hr classes) to see results.

I've met Shelbi before and she is a nasty piece of work. I'd give her one season to last with the Mavs unless she becomes one of Mallory's pets.

Vivian seemed a little cocky. With Kelli being executive producer she may have caught that considering they probably have to edit those episodes quickly for production. I hope Alexandra from American Allen Ice Angels come back. The little blonde Courtney I think she's 18...she reminds me of Britney Schram and Courtney (Curly blonde who left season 8). I think J&K chose a bunch of young girls so they could have a solid team for the next 5 years at least.

Omg! They post their weight. Yikes. So you gain a pound I guess you have to take the walk of shame "Tina the talking Tummy" smh. Welp...maybe Vivian should tryout for the Houston Texans those girls are curvier. Btw I think Judy just did not care for her.
