I was so sad when the Delia brain injury happened. I love this show, but I was so upset I didn't know if I'd continue watching. I mean, amnesia? It's lazy writing. I finally got around to the Christmas episode today and I cheered when Patsy saw Delia! Oh I'm so glad they are fixing the terrible mistake they made with this storyline. Can't wait to see more of them next season.

I think you guys talked about BFF in EHG v.1, so it's thanks to you that I know and love it. It's a perfect gem of a show, as is Playing House. Really glad this episode got in the Canon, but I wish you would've clipped the part where Jess tells her ex-husband that she hopes he has a terrible flight. "I hope you're sitting next to a baby. A dumb, dumb baby." I also wanted to mention that when Joe said he was having trouble finishing shows, I immediately thought of Parks & Rec. The series finale sat on my DVR for months because I hated it so much that I stopped it midway through. Glad I'm not the only one who wants to forget that last season.

Jim, if you're an "executive tax specialist" you do not manage finances. That's what a financial advisor does. Writers, make him a lawyer already.

The concept of "busy season" doesn't really exist unless you do taxes, so I get Sarah's point, and agree that the writers should have made him a vague lawyer type to avoid these issues.

It's actually not that weird that Cindy is doing the taxes. Just because Jim is an accountant doesn't mean he is a tax accountant. He could be an auditor, or a governmental accountant. Not all accountants do taxes. (vmayo, Accountant Cop.)

If you enjoy crazy-accented Mark (as I do) I suggest going back to the first go-round of EHG and listening to the episode where they discuss Joyful Noise. There's a lot of hilarious Dolly Parton impersonations in that one. And, that's the episode where we hear Mark's Rosanne story! If there were a EHG canon of EHG episodes, that'd make the list for sure.

I am not a crackpot, but TV writers need to ask their accountant friends if the terminology they're using makes sense, because it almost never does.

I actually think Brandon being a sanctimonious know-it-all is the best part of the show. I have watched a few more episodes, and so far he has had an indignant rant in each one of them. I really hope this trend continues so I can keep on laughing/cringing at him. "You can take your cumin, and you can shove it!" YEAAHHHH!

This was my first time watching 90210 (I was a little too young for it when it originally aired). I didn't have high hopes going in, but I was surprised how much I thoroughly enjoyed it. So many regrettable fashion choices! So much bad hair! I kind of can't imagine taking this show seriously, but it is so fun to hate watch. I'm in!

Ziggy is the worst! I actually recall fast-forwarding his scenes. I'm not the biggest S2 fan.

You guys should definitely watch The Adventures of Pete & Pete! It's a great Nickelodeon show that you would've seen if you were a kid in the 90s. I was actually considering submitting an episode to the canon, but might rethink if it's not something you've seen before.

Just wanted to throw out there that most of the episodes of "Playing House" are available on USA network's site. I revisited them yesterday after listening to EHG and remembering how much I love the show. The episode "Totes Kewl" lives on my DVR for the scene where Emma finds out that Maggie and Emma's mom have become friends, and that it was Maggie's idea to give her the syrup as a goodwill gesture. Emma threatens to eat her waffles without syrup, "Dry as a goddamn bone." Still gets me every time.

I would definitely want to live in the beautiful house on The Fosters.
