  1. I think Tiffany cuts Claire if it’s convenient for the cookout. I’d love to be wrong.
  2. I have to think it’s Alyssa. When Brent and Christian were courting her early in the game she told both that she had to be able to tell men early in the relationship about her shitting habits. It appeared to be very important to her to be able to share this information.
  3. This is disappointing if the cookout is gaining influence and consolidating. I was really enjoying the free for all that this season appeared to have going for it. If the cookout is really as solid as it appears they might be then I think they’re just gonna roll through the game which is pretty boring.
  4. Christian winning hoh is worse case scenario for me. I need one of Christian or Alyssa to go. That showmance has to be one of the worst in the history of the show. I’d prefer Christian go because I think he’s a zero. Alyssa actually seems to try to play outside her terrible showmance.
  5. I actually think it’s because most people agree that Whitney is “bad”. Whereas there is a lot of debate over whether the cookout and Tiffany prioritizing people of color is good or bad. So more debate leads to more polarizing takes and discussion. It’s a harder question with regard to Tiffany. Whitney is easy. Her comment is bad. Discussion over.
  6. Ahh. Got it. Thanks. For some reason I thought she said it to another houseguest as like a throwaway. I wish we saw the actual convo though with Whitney.
  7. I didn’t mean to imply that Claire made anything up or lied. I didn’t see Claire’s comment. So she said this to us? As in she spoke to the camera?
  8. Nobody actually knows what Whitney said about Sandy Hook right? We’re still just making an assumption based off some comment Claire made?
  9. My thought watching that scene was sadness. That the actor who played a gay frat bro on Greek in such a great way on a show that really pushed things forward without trying to is now relegated to this shit show that tries way too hard.
  10. I definitely agree with that. I’ve never had an issue with blindsiding people. I actually love it as a viewer.
  11. I guess my question is do you want people’s behavior to change? I won’t argue with you over Brent’s narcissism. But if someone keeps saying something you disagree with or in Hannah’s case touching her in a way she doesn’t want then tell that person. Maybe Brent would freak out if you told him his views on women are problematic. Or maybe he’d learn something. I don’t know. And Hannah’s complaints about not liking Brent’s massages and other touches are completely valid. At the same time the house is very touchy-feely and Brent has no idea he’s doing anything wrong. He’s not intending to make Hannah uncomfortable for whatever that is worth.
  12. Has there been any thought put in to tell Brent that some of the things he says and does offend them this much? I mean Hannah hates him but opens her arms for a hug and then gives the camera a disgusted face. I also understand that this is a game so you don’t want to piss anyone off. And if that is the reasoning for not confronting him then fine but I feel like a little more effort could be made to inform him that what he says is problematic if that’s your opinion.
  13. What’s odd to me is that all of these people have made multiple alliances with many of the same people and yet none of them seem to talk about how they share multiple alliances. It almost like they’ve all silently agreed that none of these mean anything.
  14. To be fair, Xavier didn’t nominate azah because she’s black. He explicitly admitted that to kyland. But I’m guessing Brent thinks he would have been down instead of britni.
  15. What exactly has Brent done? I see the Hannah complaint about him massaging her shoulders. And I’ve seen some of the cringey things he’s said about his views on men and women in relationships. But they suggested he talked about race in the video above. edited to add that I don’t really follow crap that’s said on big brother Twitter so I only see what’s on here and what I see myself.
  16. I don’t mind. I don’t find Whitney particularly appealing but more close ups could change my mind
  17. I want to like Azah. I really do. But she just holes up in the same room all day and is attaching herself to britni and Derek f and that’s not something I can get behind.
  18. He really should have. He’s so dumb and yet would be seemingly sincere that he’d have success there. He has no business being in this game.
  19. What’s really annoying about Alyssa and Christian is their insistence to the rest of the house that they aren’t a showmance and that they wouldn’t throw their game away for a showmance. No, you two are exactly those people so just own it. You are that pathetic.
  20. You might be right. I was just thinking in terms of the house dynamics. Not necessarily unpredictability with regard to who is evicted. And maybe it wouldn’t shake things up too much but Brent finding out he’s on the outs but staying would cause him to try and work on fixing things. And I would find that more interesting then everyone lounging around talking about nothing.
  21. I really want Brent to win veto. This house needs something to shake it up and britni having a mental breakdown while Brent rampages around the house after saving himself is the shake up it needs IMO. I know people don’t like Brent but everything going according to plan is not good tv.
  22. It’s really hard to figure out. Xavier is talking to kyland right now and telling him he would never put up Azah because they’re here for something bigger than the game. So I think in the short term Xavier has real allegiance to the cookout. Any other alliance combination is a mystery to me.
  23. And there it is. Xavier told Britni about azah’s self sacrifice and britni is now trying to convince Xavier to put up azah instead because in her opinion britni would get more votes to leave then azah. No good deed goes unpunished. That would seal her fate for me if I’m Xavier and truthfully working with azah. She is also throwing Derek x under the bus. Xavier really needs to stick to the plan and nom britni or Whitney.
  24. I’m not sure any alliance formed solely because you share a similar melanin level is a great foundation. I mean I think Xavier and Tiffany and Hannah could do great things together. But any alliance that has azah and Derek f in it is doomed to fail IMO. But I guess we’ll see.
  25. The problem with Azahs argument is that she’s volunteering to go up in place of britni which is monumentally stupid
