It is exceedingly barebones. Frankly, it's probably overpriced for what it is.
It looks better (for the most part) than the DVD sets, although if you own those, this might not be worth the investment. The slipcase, in addition to the bizarre art (which is also replicated at the completely static menu (at least for Season 1), is badly designed.
As much as I'm enjoying getting to revisit it, watching S1 again does really remind me how why I had such a hard time connecting to the show initially. I just finished "The Mind War," and I feel bad saying this, but if it wasn't for Walter Koenig's charisma as Bester, the actor who plays Jason Ironheart is so bad the episode would be almost unwatchable.

Even if they only make guest appearances on a potential UNIT-based show with Jemma Redgrave, I’m fine with that.

I also wonder if they used "Love is a Long Road" because it was easier to get than "Won't Get Fooled Again." It certainly sounds like The Who, and well, there is a CSI: Miami look to it.

The Blu-Ray set dropped today. It’s billed as the complete series, but doesn’t have any of the movies besides “The Gathering,” which is confusingly on the last disc, not the first.
Odder still, the station doesn’t even appear on the slipcase. It’s what appears to be the Agamemnon, a few Star Furies, and some Shadow vessels.
Weird.

Ah. I watch it through an Amazon Prime subscription, and I have both BritBox and AMC+. so I thought it was the latter.
I just don't have the words to describe how much I loved this special. I haven't enjoyed Who this much in a long, long time. If anything, I'm only sad we only have two more of these.
The BBC put all of Disney's money on screen. That's the best the show has ever looked.

Disney+ has streaming rights for these specials forward. The classic Who as well as the previous revival stuff is staying where it is for now, which at least in the US is with AMC+ for Classic and Max for the revival up through Thirteen.

Nope is Jordan Peele's best movie, and Keke Palmer should have gotten Jamie Lee Curtis' Oscar.

I'll go with that on the first movie, but Addams Family Values is not only the rarest of sequels that improves on the original, it's one of the best comedies of the 90s.

Since they made it available to rent, I watched in during downtime when I was on call last night.
While it was Citizen Kane in comparison to "Legend of the Rangers" and "The Lost Tales," I didn't love it. Individually, I liked a lot of the pieces, but we didn't stay in any of the particular timelines long enough to really form any kind of connection with them.
As someone who dislikes a lot of the fifth season because of how thoroughly they fucked over Lyta, I did appreciate that they let her be a badass in two separate dimensions.
I was also confused as to why Sheridan had his spiritual encounter on the Rim with a being that was impersonating G'Kar. I mean, G'Kar is probably the character I connect with the most emotionally, so I get it from that perspective, but it loses something because, well, the replacement was fine, but not Andreas Katsulas. But even beyond that, given everything, wouldn't it have made more sense for it to have been Lorien, especially since Wayne Alexander is still alive?

Apparently, when they were granted permission to film at the Victoria & Albert Museum, they were told they could only use the museum's existing lighting. I'm actually glad the museum insisted on that, it made the scene look a little more dream-like.

See, that's the thing. I don't like the idea that I need to pick up outside material (usually at an additional cost) to get the whole story. I think it's one of the reasons why I'm not crazy about the bulk of Season 5. Most of the story that starts and concludes is fine (I'd probably even like the telepath stuff if I didn't find Byron so goddamn annoying), but you're left with at least two dangling teases for future plots, Lyta vs Psi-Corps and David Sheridan/Centauri Prime, and then I have to sink extra money into finding out the resolution. It doesn't really play by the rules about Chekov's Guns that the series as a whole had been so good about.

A+ episode for Tress McNeille. Mom, Invasa, Linda, and Craterface all in one episode.
I don't think I've laughed at this season as hard as I did when the Crushinator broke the door down followed by the Moon Mayor(?) saying "I have no idea how she got in here."
Although Morbo's "And some very confused werewolves" was a close second.

I have not, mostly because I don't want to have to pay $20 to own something that might not be a timeless classic for the ages.
I've only seen one critic review, but it seems like it's more a (well-intentioned) nostalgia piece, rather than something envelope-pushing, so it may not be as much of a brain commitment as you think.

I enjoyed the movie, but the conversation in the review made me want to read the book, and think I'd like that even more.
The book is...well, it's not deep. But it has some really strong emotional beats.
I think ultimately this is probably the best version of the story they could have done in two hours. There are changes that I liked and changes that I didn't, but I think it balanced everything really well.

Honestly? When it comes down to it, I'd say he's actually the most evil of all of their villains.
Thanos might have had a higher body count, but at least most of those deaths were basically random. The High Evolutionary killed for no real reason but his own ego. When even Nebula was sick to her stomach watching Rocket's memories...
Gunn said that Drax saved him and they locked him up on Knowhere, but honestly, I'm okay thinking they left him to die.
