I was super distracted and annoyed by the inconsistencies with masks. And one character spoke without his mask on to 2 others wearing masks and then PUT HIS ON as he walked away. Um...what?? Lol

Same here! But my issue is more one of laziness - who wants to get up every few episodes and change out the disk?? LOL And I really don't have a lot of storage space and my current DVDs are jammed together in one little area. Dilemma.

Does anyone know why only season 1 of this show is available to purchase on Amazon (digital streaming that is)? Is there anywhere to buy this entire series digitally? I really don't want more boxed sets cluttering up my limited space. Plus, lot of reviews seem to indicate the quality of the DVDs are terrible so I really don't want to spend that kind of money on something that sounds like it's crappy... Has anyone purchased the box set from Amazon and had it be fine?

I don't follow a lot of interviews and such so I'm curious, where have they said this? Or why is it some people think this is the case?

Ha! The episode when she and the family play the fairy game, I also have the butterfly top she's wearing. Also from Kohl's. I giggle everytime I see it in my closet or wear it. I have no idea why I find it endlessly hilarious, but I do. ;)

Oh wow, I saw a couple of tours of that! One of my favorite musicals. I'll have to dig out my playbills. :)

I actually cried...real tears...sitting at my desk at work. with my door open. Thank God nobody walked in. LOL That was perfection. The episodes could suck and I'd be ok because I'd still have this trailer...well, maybe... lol "They don't bring me joy."...the tshirt and jeans!!! The giant Richard portrait!! Oh Emily...how I've missed you!!!! :)

I'm the same. I am so not expecting greatness. Just excited to see Stars Hollow again! Like with the X-Files revival, which was less than great IMO, I got one episode that I couldn't have been more thrilled with from start to finish and I wouldn't trade it for anything. If we get at least that type of thing with one of these? I'll be on cloud nine. But I'll also take mildly enjoyable if nothing else.

I don't remember the name but it was a short fic of the FTF hallway scene. And I thought "That was lame..." But I found another one soon after and that fic seemed more exciting (no recollection of it at all) and that person gave her fave authors which led me to Karen Rasch. That's when I was lost for good (don't even remember her fics now, just her name which I find kind of amusing since I never remember names of anything). Thus the next few years of my life were spent confusing the hell out of my family wondering what was so captivating on the laptop (I made up a bunch of stuff, too embarrassed to admit the real reason) and being yelled at for the hours of busy signals everyone else was getting when they tried to call our house. I think my sister lost out on a NYE date because of that. It wasn't long after I got my own phone line. ;) I kinda miss those days. :) Though not the living at home part. Other than free rent, that sucked. ;)

Aww, that's too bad! Maybe things will change or work out when it gets closer. I think our tentative plan is to fly out on a Friday (early early if I have any say in it), and fly back late Sunday. So we get as much time as possible and we don't go completely broke paying for a hotel. lol We did a 7 day trip not even 2 years ago (got really lucky and a relative of my friend loaned us his apartment for the week since he would be out of town so we extended our trip because you gotta take full advantage of free lodging in NYC! lol) and got to do a lot of stuff so I won't feel terribly deprived this one will be pretty quick. Plus...Gillian. I admit, I will fly crazy distances and pay lots of money for the sole purpose of getting to see on stage for a mere couple hours. lol I am insane...I admit it. LOL

I also saw Streetcar through NTL and have never been so stunned by a performance. So when I saw Gillian at a Q&A recently at my local comic con deal, and she mentioned bringing it to NY, I almost fell out of my chair. I looked at my best friend (mouth probably gaping open) and she said "Oh no, I think I see another trip to NY in my future!" LOL Not that it's a hardship for her...she loves NY. ;) So when I saw dates were posted recently, I brought it back up and she laughed a bit and said "Yeah, I can do that." My outside, in public reaction was "Awesome. Will be fun!" but inside? I was screaming and jumping up and down like a crazy person. ;) I. Cannot. Wait.

Goodness, it's been a long time since I've been on any GG forum. :) I miss this show and really need to do a rewatch soon! My very closest friend would be... Lorelai! She's just the right amount of manic and crazy and hilarious for me to get along with perfectly (I'm the opposite but have a tendency to attract that type of friend) If I had to have a romantic relationship with one GG character, it would be... Digger - 10 years ago, I found him charming if not kind of bizarre and was like "No way!" at the idea of dating him. But now? I'd so be down with my own bedroom. I cannot sleep with another human in the room. :) The one person I would get along with the worst would be.... Michel. Hands down Michel. Though I loved his snarky on tv, I couldn't stand to be around a real life version of him. My job in Stars Hollow would be... Oh definitely bookstore. Can we get a Barnes & Noble in Stars Hollow? I already work at one now. And I think we definitely need to expand. ;) My favorite out-of-work social activity to do in SH would be... Does hang out at Luke's count? How do you think he'd react to me setting up my knitting at a table for several hours? ;) The person we never saw on screen who I'd most like to meet would be... Luke's parents. Either one. My ideal vacation from Stars Hollow would be traveling to ____ with _________ Anywhere with Emily. Especially if she paid my way. :) If I could erase three characters from the GG canvas, they would be... TJ, Asher (yes to whoever said that was sort of creepy), and Lucy (I love Krysten Ritter the actress but couldn't stand that character most of the time) If I could bring back three characters who departed before the end of the series, they would be... Jess, Trix (can I bring back a dead person?) and Marty If I could take part in just one Stars Hollow festival/event, it would be... I guess the Firelight Festival, but only if I could sit on the sidelines and make fun of it with Luke.
