  1. The latest and it is stupidly unclear: https://www.polygon.com/23852870/babylon-berlin-season-4-netflix-release-date-when-us
  2. Yes, unfortunate that the rights are tied to different producers. Mostly I just find Haller charming but gullible and without the grit I look for in Connelly characters especially in this episode. I hope it corrects in future, though tv writers had a tough job mimicking and updating Connelly.
  3. All I can say is that I look forward to Harry Bosch showing up to kick some sense into his dick-led, gullible half-brother imminently. And if it's not in season 2, it better be in season 3. Because by this episode, a combination of transparent plotting and the actress playing the restaurant dame practically winking at the camera that she's up to no good makes this Connelly Lite. Yes, the lead is charming; yes, there are lots of LA food trucks whetting my appetite for my next trip south of Conejo Pass. But I'm fervently hoping for some plot twists. Restaurant Dame is ex-wife of developer? Or developer funder? Or maybe someone shoots her a la the end of season 1? Bring it. With Bosch.
  4. Is it the lighting that makes virtually every actor look strange? Or was this cast from a basement filled with worn-out 1960s animatronics from Disneyland? That crushingly dull character of the psycho assassin who longs for domesticity: it’s a contest whether the screenwriter who created the character or the actress who plays her is worse. But one genuine laugh: when Psycho Assassin dressed as the hotel maid gets back to her room and rips off the terrible curly black-haired wig…and reveals exactly the same hair style underneath.
  5. Nathan Fillon liked one of my Tweets. I am embarrassed to say I was thrilled.
  6. Why on earth would a judge be anywhere near the jury summons process? A whole clerical staff randomly selects, mails notices, processes postponements and excuses, and manages the jury pool showing up each day before the judge summons prospective jurors to a courtroom. I would also imagine there is some sort of check and balance to the system so that jury services staff do not have the opportunity to tamper with selection. Those tidy little piles of notices were hilarious. LA County probably mails summons in giant bales. Usually Connelly is smarter than this about procedure. Or did a screenwriter get creative?
  7. New videos every Thursday from this quartet. I’ve learned a lot about pathology from them.
  8. Here’s the link to the Holmes Behavior Panel analysis.
  9. I loved seeing The Behavior Panel episode dissecting her and her pathology.
  10. I read he apparently targeted Scandinavian women because it is easier to get unsecured loans in those countries.
  11. O. The. Suspense. Will the star of the show with the multi-year contract make it out of that clichéd abandoned industrial site despite the deranged serial killer everyone suspected playing dirty? O. The. Suspense.
