Exactly--my daughter was in an abusive relationship a few years back and the thing that bothered the guy most was people (ME) not falling for his bullshit. This guy blamed everyone else and everything else as the reasons for his abuse and toxic relationship with my daughter.

That is how abusers work. They alienate friends and family members. It is a power trip and a control issue.

    April looks better.

And I bet (the 2018 version of) April is more pleasant to be around than Cate.  And April no doubt contributes more to society these days than Cate does.

Yes, April's personality and character has likely improved since her addiction days. She was the only one (aside from Drew) who didn't slam Farrah for doing porn. She looks healthier, too.

Catelynn and April are twins in the sense that Cate's looks have her looking like she is in the same age group as her mother. April has gone through decades of living a hard life. Cate is barely in her mid-20s and has the rough look of April when she was at her worst. Except for the weight part.

All you ignorant people are the reason why mental health still has this huge stigma around it! #GetEducated #KeepTalkingMH you have NO clue unless you have been through it yourself. Some of you people disgust me

Bitch, you disgust me. Don't tell us about mental health disease. We all know more about it either due to suffering from mental illness or we have dealt with people who have mental issues. I have two children who are dealing with mental disorders so, take your ignorant trailer-trash octagon-shaped ass and take several hundred seats.

When was Becky a slut? She literally dated like 3 guys and married Mark

Back in the episode "Vegas, Vegas" when Darlene called her one for being on the pill. I loved that scene.

Are they implying Becky had random sex with strangers?

  5. I remember watching this segment of Inside Edition where they had different sets of triplets take those ancestry tests with different results depending on which test they used:

So, @druzy posted information on the social media thread that the slashing of the balloons by UBT will be airing on the new season. I can't wait to see how Jenelle will react.

From what The Ashley has heard, Jenelle and David are not currently aware that the footage is going to air. However, the source says that’s it’s “highly unlikely” that MTV would pull the footage out of the episode, even if Jenelle throws a fit about it.

Not anymore. Are there any tweets from Jenelle @druzy

I have a feeling balloon-gate is being hyped up. I am not sure it is going to be that dramastic.

LOL! I'm sure you look great! And I mean no offense to those 50 and over. (I'll be there soon enough.) I'm guessing Cate's around 26 and Baby Huey is maybe late 20's/early 30's - I have no idea. At that age, you should be fresh faced and bright, and have at least some energy. Not looking like the life has literally been sucked out of you. If they look this hard now, I shudder to think what they're going to look like in 50 years!

Catelynn already looks like her mother, April. The only difference is their weight. It is like they are twins:

What is she thanking her for? A retweet or did she do something to help? Also, now I have to go see what this Phil tea is about.

She is thanking Amber for retweeting. As if that will help anything.

I watched that episode of Dr. Phil. Her brother is a nut job.

Does anyone know the status of what happened? I mean, if the guy is not receptive to help, how is that Dr. Phil's problem?

I’m bad. I wear pajamas out in public sometimes. I have a set from Costco that was labeled “lounge wear” and something similar (but nicer) from Bealls. When Mr. DC complains I inform him that they’re not pajamas but “lounge wear”.

But if I had cameras filming me? Hell to the fucking no. I’d do my hair (or at least put on one of my nicer weaves) and put on make-up too. And get out of my bed and off the couch. It would be me all done up like LVP while I garden, cook and clean the house non-stop.

    Love Costco!

I nearly spit out the water I am drinking. OMG how funny!

Nicer weaves...lol  I know what you mean. I remember getting myself done up on a daily! Even if I wasn't working and all I was doing was going to the store, I'd do my hair and put my make-up on.

Back in the early 90s I would sometimes wear the ponytails (think of Madonna on her Blonde Ambition tour). Those were awesome as I could just quickly do my hair by putting that on, do my make-up and head out the door. The ponytail saved me time from having to style my hair. Now, I will do the Amber bun (mine is fierce and much, much better than hers), wear NO make-up, put on my prescription shades and hope I don't run into anyone I know. Man, if I was having my life televised, you can bet I would be doing my hair and face every damn day the camera was here. No sweatpants or t-shirts. I'd be like you, looking like LVP. lol

I live in my robe and pajamas at home and since I work from home...well...you get the picture. I draw the line at wearing them in public, despite the fact that the local Dollar Store looks like a flannel 'n fleece fashion show on any given day.

I personally think 11:30 daily is ridiculous, but I do understand that health conditions or particular work schedules (night shifts and such, as others have pointed out) could change that, of course. The thing is, we pretty much 100% know those things are not the case for Maci. Nor does she care for her children during the day. So what is she doing that she needs to sleep in?

I think we all know the answer.

Right. There are plenty of people who do have reasons for sleeping in late. Maci is not one of them.

You just did. Thank you. (And tote bags. I ? your tote bags!)

Chris Rock is THE man, hands down. You and I have to be related somehow. His comedy always makes me laugh, especially the classic “how to lower violence by charging $5k for bullets.” (Damn, he musta done somethin!)

I wish more parents (no one on this site) thought about teachers the way you have done/do and have also expressed that to their children. I suspect that all of your kids were taught that from an early age too.

When parents bad mouth teachers, their children mimic their parent(s) and when you mix that up with the battle of how parents model/teach common sense & respect, it can be a struggle.

I’m also the first one to say that there are many teachers I’ve met over the last 10 years who have no business being in the classroom. Some are mean, some needed to retire five years ago, some simply can’t manage a classroom or even teach content.  It’s not fair to the kids.

When the ratchet ones come to school (damn the school attendance laws! Haha!) I like to call at least three parents of nice, kind students after school, for no other reason other than to compliment their student. When I’ve had a bad day. It’s the best way to leave a bad workday behind you.

For your youngest one, pls also let him know if any of his teachers are having a bad day, we do work hard to leave it at the door, but like you said, we are human. Just like any possible thing can happen to students during the day or passing periods, and I keep that in mind for someone who might be having an “off day”, we are also susceptible to being in the same boat.

Reasons teachers can appear “off” or cranky:

-chances are that they just sat in a stupid meeting or observation debrief with an administrator/principal. Admin isn’t big on “thank you”, “I appreciate you” or “I like the way you did ....” because they’re robots with no feelings. And those meetings almost always occur during our prep (free) period when we have Xeroxes to make, papers to grade and a bladder to empty!

(Apologies to anyone here who is/was as administrator!)

-A parent called the principal and we allegedly said/did something that was “mean” or “wasn’t fair” to their student (who hates our guts and happens to be failing). Then mom/dad show up and want to meet, without an appointment, because they think they’re VIPs and we work for them.

When we’re not with students, we are either sitting in boring staff meetings or trying to get 182834 things finished...and you know the Xerox machine is always broken or jammed!

That said, it’s the small things (a card or note for no reason) or an email from a parent out of the blue that make the job worth doing. It really doesn’t take much to make the day ten million times better, and it’s often the result of a sincere “thank you” or kind word from a student.

If I won the lottery tmrw, I’d still be a teacher. The students know which teachers are there for the paycheck and who shows up to work - and that’s what this profession is about: the students. The teacher who shows movies all year long is doing a huge disservice to their students. I know this to be true because I had one of those “teachers” next door to my classroom last year. The 10th graders “learned” about history through movies. Every. Single. Day.

The students do know now that Ben Affleck isn’t just Batman. He was also in “Pearl Harbor” and “Armageddon.” Apparently “Armageddon” fits into the Common Core History curriculum. Who knew?

I brought your post here so I could respond.

I will definitely share this with my son when he gets home later. Thank you for your sweet words. Yes, I taught all my kids the same about teachers and being respectful in school. My two oldest went to Catholic school. My son is the only one who has attended public school. He is in tenth grade. He has some special needs. The IEP helps him so much. He currently has a GPA of 3.5

Another thing I have shared with my son is that not all kids are bad. They might come from abusive or questionable home environments and sometimes they act out at school which can then make it hard for the students, teachers and the administration.

Regarding the card/note, my son always bought a souvenir for his elementary school teachers while we were on our family vacations. He wanted to let them know how much he appreciated them and wanted to thank them by giving them a gift. This continued until junior high. He had a handful of teachers he bought gifts for. After the conclusion of his home tutoring this past February, he gave the teacher a card to thank him for all he did and all the extra effort the teacher put in. This teacher went beyond what he was required to do. I made sure his boss and the school district were informed about what a great teacher he is and how much he helped my son get back on his feet to return to school. He was such a great advocate. He'd get upset if the school didn't send his homework on time. He was also informing me of the kind of things you just posted about such as the feeling that teachers are not appreciated, staff meetings, and having to deal with rude parents who will accuse the teachers of going after their precious children when in fact, it is the students who are misbehaving. As he told me, the administrators tend to let the students rule the school.

I grew up respecting teachers. I went to a Catholic school for 8 years. The teachers and the nuns did not play around. It was strict and I hated it, but it also taught me a lot. When I asked my dad to send me to public high school and he said yes, I was ecstatic! Boy, the culture shock hit me like a ton of bricks that first freshman week. The total disrespect of the staff by some students is something I never forgot. This was back in 1979.

I recently watched that show on A&E "Undercover High" and it showed me how much worse the younger generation has become and how much worse teachers have it nowadays.

Just watched this episode (early for me - generally it takes several days to work up to it) and I literally came on here to post exactly that.

I wonder how much Baby Huey paid those teenagers to Skype him asking to “produce” a show for them.

And after being hands off “poor Cate” this season, I now declare Open Season on her ridiculousness. Sign me up! Mr. DC suffers from terrible depression - without insurance his multiple meds would run thousands $ monthly. He’s done inpatient and outpatient in the past. Yoga is great - that’s why he takes classes at the gym. Therapy is great - that’s why he goes 1-2X a week. He doesn’t run around trying to garner sympathy and head off to MTV paid “spa rehab” at the drop of a hat - which to me is what she’s doing at this point.

And WTF is her “PTSD” from? Having an alcoholic mother? Did she lock her in a closet while she got high? My mother is kinda batshit crazy with likely some borderline personality thrown in (she means well). My FIL was hell on wheels when he was younger - emotionally abusive to his entire family.  I’m sure many out there have similar backgrounds. Do we all have undiagnosed “PTSD”?

Why do so many of these girls coddled by MTV since their teens -  claim to have all sorts of mental illness. Farrah (worst PTSD ever seen according to her lunatic Dad - like she was in Vietnam or Fallujah), Amber, Kailyn, Jenelle...

    Rant over...

OMG I didn't even think of Baby Huey paying those teens to Skype him.

lol @ your open season comment.

You summed it up perfectly. Cate is jerking the mental health system. That time could be better spent on someone who truly desires help and is not manipulating people for sympathy.

I have been going after her for a long while now. She is fucking ridiculous and she is playing Tyler for a fool. Cate is not a PTSD sufferer. She just tweeted two weeks ago about life being grand when she was growing up. Cate is not mentally ill with depression or anxiety. She is fearful of Tyler leaving her. She is mentally disturbed.

This is such a good point. My husband and I actually do post on social media often--usually HAPPY pictures of our baby in different outfits, fun outings, our anniversary dinner, etc.

Everyone goes through hard times. But if every post about your being a fairly new husband (they haven't been married for 20 years, they're basically newlyweds!) and a dad to a little girl is misery and slog, doubt and despair, and if you consistently use battlefield metaphors to describe your marriage...that's a really bad sign.

I know that's because his relationship is legitimately difficult, but he also parlays it into this narrative of him as a hero conquering all. Dude, you're married and have one little kid, and you don't have a 9-to-5, much less three minimum wage jobs like probably many folks in your community. And neither does your wife. How horrific can your day to day actually be?

    Preach x 2.

Re the second bolded paragraph, Sweet Jesus, thank you! Tyler is such a drama queen. Emphasis on queen. Tyler is not working, as you pointed out. He doesn't have Nova all day. She is at daycare from 7 a.m. until at least 3 p.m.  He is "flipping" his home by his own choice. His wife and father are away at rehab so, it is not like they are a burden to him. His sister is likely the only one who bothers him from time to time, but even so, Tyler doesn't have the kind of worries or the kind of day that most people have who are in the same situation. He is not paying for either rehab stint. Try relying on insurance to cover your wife's vacation in Arizona. They'd laugh in your face. She wouldn't have the luxury of returning a third time.

That tweet of Cate's "you haters vows say - in SICKNESS and in health..."  I imagine she yells that to Tyler several times a week to keep him in check and not get any ideas about leaving her. Yeah Cate, you are sick. Sick in the head. She uses mental illness as her crutch to get her attention and sympathy. She is chronically behaving needy. The emotional blackmail is the worst with her claims of wanting to harm herself.

@leighroda I can't wait for that day to happen. It reminds me of Amber's tweets about how wonderful Matt was and all that shit she was posting. I'd love to tweet all of those to her.

  13. Baby Huey's wrinkly area around his eye that I pointed out last night looking like the skin around a rectum. Add that to the comments here about his mouth looking like an anus and you have one big Sasquatch hemorrhoid.

@Brooklynista you brought up the editing about Cate and Tyler's scene regarding Nova. One thing I did notice was how the editors spliced one scene of Cate looking like her usual self while driving and the next scene has her walking through the door after her trip from the spa. She walks in all happy and smiling with her hair and face done which is not how she looked when she was shown driving seconds before:

  14. Cate said to Tyler when he asked her what she was going to do now that she was home. Her response:

"I'm going to see a therapist once a week. I will then see their psychiatrist. I will be getting a different phone with NO SOCIAL MEDIA ON IT."

I guess it is established she is NOT doing her post-rehab per the professional's orders since she is on social media non-stop.

Cate, go to hell. No one has time with your faux mental issues. The only mental issues you suffer from are the sick mind games you play on Tyler and your daughter. You need to be put away for a long time in some institute where you can truly be evaluated and handled properly without the luxury of being catered to. What you are doing to your daughter will scar her for life.

@Snarky McSnarky lol  OMG that is extremely funny and true! Reminds me of my spouse who tells me, "I made the bed, honey." In my mind I am thinking, "I made the bed 300 times this year without ever mentioning it to you."

@Bridget Chris Rock is my man. He is always on point! I watch all of his specials. I'd pay good money to have him handle these jerks on the show. Except Gary, Kristina, Cole and Chelsea. Imagine what he would tell Amber about her prison stint?

Thank you for the lovely comment. I have teachers praising my son all the time and how they wish they had a classroom filled with students like him. Just today, his teacher gave him ten extra points on an assignment because he PRINTED it rather than typed it out. That teacher loves his penmanship. I have always instilled in my son the importance of respecting his teachers. I have told him that many of them are single parents, some are dealing with health issues, they are not paid what they deserve, they may go to school in a bad mood because they might be dealing with a crisis at home or having personal problems, basically teachers are human. His former home teacher (when he was being home tutored for four months) told him how he deals with many ratchet students and sometimes dreads going to work, but he so looked forward to coming to our home to teach our son.

I mentioned this to you before, but it can't ever be mentioned enough, THANK YOU FOR THE WORK YOU DO!! Such a noble profession. There is not enough praise I can give you. :-)

The following is tangentially related to Ryan, who once said Farrah has no room to talk about anything ever, because she had a dick in her ass on film, which is, in my opinion, a misogynistic and uneducated point of view, and sadly, one that I think is likely shared by a lot of viewers.

You hate the porn industry? Fine. I'm not thrilled with it myself. But if you hate it, you hate the industry. You hate the people who make it, you hate the people who sell it, you hate the people who distribute it, and most of all (I'm looking at you, Maci, Cate, and RYAN), you hate the people who WATCH it, and therefore create a demand. THOSE are the ones who deserve the biggest side eye. You don't use porn as a convenient excuse to scapegoat someone you already don't like, just because she happens to be one of the most visible (yet likely lowest paid) cog in the wheel of the adult entertainment industry.

    Oh my. That is...oh my.

Ryan's remarks about Farrah were extremely hypocritical and judgmental. It was the one and only time he and Maci shared the same thoughts and agreed on something. I have no doubts Maci has watched porn. Ryan for sure has watched it.

I had a conversation with my spouse just last night about a mutual acquaintance who publicly shared on Facebook her hate for a local strip club that is closing for good. She ranted how that place was filled with sluts and how they ruined her marriage and other marriages and hurt families. Um, no. Your ex-husband ruined your marriage when he chose to spend his money there and get drunk. If it wasn't that place, he would have found another place or another way to see half-naked women and get his alcohol. Maybe you should have thought twice about marrying a man who enjoyed his liquor way too much.

Back to Ryan. That drug addict has no room to talk about anything or anyone. According to him, Farrah should not be on TM due to her adult work away from the show. Well then, his no-good ass should be removed since his criminal acts are front and center ON THE SHOW.

Nova is shitting in her bedroom per Cate's tweet a few weeks back. This is what happens when a parent who is home is relying on a baby monitor instead of helping to train their kid. Cate is so lazy, she can't bother. In fact, that was the reason she put non-Carly in daycare because she read on their website that they help with potty-training. That was over a year ago. The way Farrah has screwed up Sofia is much more disturbing to me than her doing porn, as is the way she treats her parents - though they are adults who allow it. As for people who have a problem with porn, I don't think they are "uneducated" and one could argue those who are cool with it are the "mysogynists" since porn is sexual objectification of women which falls under the definition of mysogyny. I'm not going to make a blanket judgement of those who have a problem with porn.

Let's not forget, males do porn as well. Yes, porn was at one time mostly filled with females, but that is no longer the case.

I am also remembering this is Teen Mom, not a forum about porn in general.

@Tatum exactly. By the way, your post was very clear. People have no problems liking or showing adulation to abusers Jenelle, Kail, David, and Amber, but they act holier than thou when it comes to Farrah taking a fist up her cooch (something which never appeared on Teen Mom) or making a porn. Ryan can drive on the highway while high as a kite, but people take issue with Farrah being in the adult industry?

    Excellent point.

For all the shit we see on our television screens, you know it is worse behind the scenes and plenty of stuff has been edited out. Farrah is more than happy to give us her drama on camera while the rest of these fools hide their drama and act as if their shit don't stink. MTV editors have also had a hand in keeping things from the public and not airing all of the dirty laundry for the other cast members for a hell of a long time. We received so much information from what hasn't aired via The Ashley and other sources.

Going by what Morgan J. Freeman tweeted about people being "fucktards" for complaining about David posting the gun photo and the slurs, and going by The Ashley's report about MJF trying hard to get David to apologize, it is pretty damn obvious that MJF and MTV are not disturbed by any of the deplorable and corrupt actions, including criminal undertaking of the rest of the cast, especially those actions that put lives at risk. Farrah was in harm's way when Amber went ballistic. Michael was injured during that skirmish and had damage done to his hearing aid.  Amber alluded to wanting to punch out Mackenzie on the last reunion show. Look, I loathe Mackenzie, but Amber does not have a right to go around making threats. She is an abuser who was convicted of DV and spent time in prison. She is a ticking time-bomb. When Amber demands Heather the producer be fired, they give in.

Only when MTV's precious crew pout and cry about Farrah's behavior that suddenly a cast member's actions becomes an issue to the point of being fired.

I had missed a lot of posts from the previous pages due to life getting in the way (thanks @FairyDusted). I just now read this and I can't like it enough.

@CofCinci excellent point about TPTB needing to fire Farrah due to the teacher on the set matter. My question is, why didn't they ever mention that to Farrah?

Cate seems to be living in some kind of fantasy land, and rehab is the childhood she didn't have--a clean, well ordered home, people who care about her and listen to her, three meals a day, no responsibilities.
