  1. I don’t understand why they never showed the upstairs. Surely the bedrooms and bathrooms needed work and that would have taken them way over budget. The episode just felt incomplete.
  2. Once the show ends, Kody and Robyn could teach a college course on How to be a Professional Victim.
  3. Kody must be one of the most delusional people on the planet. Robyn is continually saying how awful it is that the family is split apart and she implores Meri not to give up. Yet at Easter there was no invitation for Meri to join them and Meri spent the day alone.
  4. So Kim is all about herself and Barry is focusing on making a secure home for his children. My Kim hatred just grows and grows. Ethan is such a baby. He’s so disrespectful of his wife and obviously doesn’t care about her feelings. Olivia is no Angel, but next to Ethan she looks pretty good. Thank goodness they don’t have kids. Kim and Ethan are actually quite a bit alike.
  5. These women have kept some plastic surgeons in business. I wanted Chippy to actually participate; I have a feeling she would keep things fun and interesting.
  6. Interesting that Ethan uses the pictures on menus because the “fonts” are confusing. Just how illiterate is he? I believe that some forms of alopecia are stress induced. Since Moriah’s was temporary I wonder if stress was the cause.
  7. Moriah can’t stand to not be the center of attention, no matter what she has to do to get it. I agree that Olivia’s explanation of the music thing makes perfect sense. Moriah loved it when she got things from them but that well is running dry. And that pond where she got baptized looked pretty gross. I’m more hopeful for Ethan and Olivia if they move to Minnesota. Hopefully they can focus on their marriage away from the family drama. Nathan, just come out of that closet for heaven’s sake.
  8. I’m not sure why Ethan needs to spend 2.5 months in Cairo to work on cars. His priorities are so screwed up. So many TLC couples have divorced, it makes me wonder if some of the marriages might have survived without the shows.
  9. Why are they calling the scorpion “Scorpio?”
  10. If the four judges choose the winner of the battle royale, why is there never a tie? I'm sure that they aren't really voting and the producers make the decision.
  11. Thank goodness for DVR. I just watched the 2 hours in 20 minutes. Happy foe Amber Riley, she deserves the win. Was anyone else worrying that Jenny was going to pop out of her dress?
  12. With all the sacrifices Kody made to love Christine (gag), why is her leaving like a knife to the kidneys and not a knife to the heart?
  13. Early in the episode Janelle talked about Kody’s so-called patriarchy and said, “That’s not the man I was married to.” Past tense. She may not have left physically yet, but she has mentally and emotionally.
  14. I loved how calm and reasonable Christine was when talking with the other adults. It probably drove them crazy. Run like the wind, Christine.
  15. Kody likes little kids, but once they have opinions of their own he can’t stand them. If I was Robyn I’d watch out because he’s probably going to be looking for a younger fertile wife pretty soon.
  16. I noticed that when the group got together Lydia always rode with Barry. It’s like she’s trying to take Kim’s place. The more I watch her the stranger I think she is. I don’t understand the big deal about Olivia going to the grave. It would only be stressful when the focus should be on Joshua, who she of course never knew. She should have just quietly stayed back so the Plaths could be together. She and Ethan were both over the top about it.
  17. Ethan acts like a little kid who thinks his “cuteness” will keep him from getting in trouble. He’s a perfect example of thinking “It’s easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission.” Not that he necessarily needs Olivia’s permission, but when you’re married you don’t make large purchases without at least consulting your spouse. Especially since she is apparently the only one working a real job (sorry, but I don’t consider being on a reality show to be a real job).
  18. I'm not a fan of Ethan, but I felt bad for him being dragged to the strip club. Many people would be uncomfortable in that setting and he shouldn't have been pressured to go. Good for him for just walking out and not making a big deal about it.
  19. I don’t know how Tori was raised, but we all know that Zach was raised without discipline and now he’s doing the same with his children. I think many parents these days are overprotective, but ZiT put their kids in dangerous situations. Remember when Matt nearly killed his own kid with the trebochet? The Roloff kids grew up in a kids’ paradise with little supervision and it’s a wonder that they all survived to adulthood.
  20. I am constantly amazed that Kim and Barry produced so many attractive children.
  21. Probably had to feed the film crew, too. So is Lydia now in charge of home schooling the younger children? In addition to her job and likely a lot of the housework and cooking?
  22. Kim is acting (and I do believe she is acting) like she is an empty nester. There are still several children at home, yet she refers to raising children in the past tense and moves out apparently without a second thought. What a piece of work she is. Then there's Lydia, who looked like all her dreams were coming true with her mom out of the picture. Strange, strange family. Run, Olivia, run. Being married to someone who isn't honest with you won't end well. Better to cut your losses now and get on with your life.
  23. Basements are rare in L.A. so it’s nice that they had that space in their home.
  24. I'll be going through Winslow in a couple of months. I think I'll check out the car art to see how it's holding up. I imagine I'd just drive right by the root beer stand without really seeing it.
  25. Just watched the Winslow AZ episode. I don't quite get the art car park. It's nice to have a place to sit I guess, but kids are going to climb all over those cars and ruin the "art" on them. The root beer stand still looked pretty boring from the outside. There needed to be signage, not just a decal on the window, to tell you what it is. And the nice couple whose house they redid -- they kept talking about how they have up to 30 or so kids there at a time, yet they now have less seating in the living room. it did look nice but may not meet their needs. (I'll be glad when the open shelving trend is over.) And I thought it was weird that the twins were't there for the reveal.
