My understanding is that sign language is its own language; not based on English. I think that David finger spells a lot because Sheila doesn’t have a large sign language vocabulary but knows the alphabet. I don’t know much about sign language but I’ve always been impressed by David and Sheila’s ability to communicate.
Yeah i remember hearing something that the grammer isnt the same as English and that hearing impaired kids have trouble with writing English.

no i swear when Jasmine was first introduced to us many moons ago she said she had 2 kids. Her son who lived with his father and her daughter than lives with Jasmine's mother.

i really am enjoying this show alot.
I wonder if Marnier's reluctance for a promo comes from her mother. Freedman seems more than capable to be an Admiral or even command a ship better than California class (as we saw in her negotiation skills with the Ferengi).
Good on Tendi and Rutherford find a way out of getting in trouble for posing as newlyweds.
T'Lyn was missed but it was nice to see Rom and Leeta again.
