I am enjoying the reruns on IFC. The cast is terrific, especially Richard Mulligan as Burt. BURT: How much time do I have left, Doc? DOCTOR: You've got about five months. BURT: Five?! Everybody else gets six! Why do I get five?!

The FU joke is from Neil Simon's original play; it got a big laugh on Broadway in 1965. ABC wouldn't let them do it on the old show because it was too dirty for TV in those days.
