  1. Agreed. . I first did this while stationed at what used to be known as Ft Bragg back in 2002. I was all of 19 and no real assets to my name. Drawing up your will before you are old enough to drink is a surreal experience. But I knew that it was better to get my wishes on paper so there would be no questions.
  2. I figure it this way, at the end of the day we only know what we are shown (even then thats edited) and what can be gleaned from tidbits posted online. Still think the vast majority of what happened was condensed for time and even if all sides came to the board and presented their case, the truth will be somewhere in the middle. Rules were broken by people who should have known better, some choose to learn lessons, some didnt, but the team still continues on. If I were Jenna, Id count my lucky stars I wasnt booted off, finish the season and move on to other ventures. Know when to hold them, know when to fold them.
  3. To this day, I think thats what really happened. She confronted him, they got into an all out fight and when all was said and done, she was dead. Ive no doubt he did it, but I dont think he planned it ahead of time.
  4. Ditto. Well I can stand maybe one or two songs from a few artists but overall, its not my jam.
  5. Is it wrong of me that I hope one day the kids find out about this, contact MTV for a special "where are they now?" episode and use the chance to read their parents for filth for all the crap their parents have pulled?
  6. If if she did quit, with how they spend money, they would be begging to come back within 3 days tops.
  7. I bet that was the excuse she gave. Hasnt she deleted it before?
  8. Part of me wants to know how they handle suspension. Is it just "still have to be at practice but no performing at games and events" kind of thing? I figured they would go this route with the follow up episode. Holly resigning was about the only thing she could do at this point.

    It (2017)

Speaking as someone who has never seen the mini-series, has never read the book and 9/10 avoids horror films, I enjoyed it immensely. When I first heard it was coming out, I was like "nope" but mr jadecorleone is a horror fanatic and I figured he would want to see it so I suggested going to an early showing. I figured if I got to scared I could always shut my eyes. I could tell it would be a different experience when the lady at the ticket counter and several others told us it was more funny than scary. Id have to agree that it was. The folks in charge of casting did a phenomenal job, especially with Bill Skarsgard. Reading online about how much he got into the role (ie working with contortionists) and how he made sure to check on his young costars after each scene to make sure he wasnt scaring them too badly was very sweet of him. One got the impression that everyone involved with the project was bound and determined to do things well and I would say they succeeded. I look forward to part 2.
  10. Ive got several family members who are like that, in that I dont tell them anything unless I want the whole world to know. Do I think Kendall was a bit naive about the whole thing? Definately. I can also see her team telling her waving away concerns she might have. But then again this is also the same girl who along with her sister put photos of dead celebs on their shirts without getting permission for it and wondered why people got so pissed. Its a lesson we all learn at one point: Even if you didnt intend to cause harm, you still can
  11. Finally got the chance to see the episode (at my in-laws who have cable) and after watching the ending, when Kelli and Judy were discussing things after Holly left, I was like "if you felt that strongly against her, why not just cut her then". I got the impression that they were leaning one way but wanted to see how Holly would have reacted. I think if she would have flat out owned up to it, they might have been more forgiving. I also got the impression that we got a very condensed version of the meeting and I wouldnt be surprised if she was told "You are not going to Canton and we are gonna take time to think the rest over". I could easily see that just as I could easily see Holly decide "Im screwed anyways, might as well end it on my terms". Just hoping they dont ignore it in the next episode.
  12. Id bet my left foot thats exactly what happened. You can warn someone not to do something until you are blue in the face, if that person is bound and determined to break rules they dont think apply to them, they will. Especially if they have seen others get away with it. To me, if K&J really wanna nip this in the bud, they need to come down harder when it does happen and they need to be even across the board when handing out punishments. You cant keep one and cut the other for the same crime and then complain when the rules are being broken.
  13. Same here. I mean its nice enough, but to me in this case it seems more like one is paying for a name rather than a superior product. But thats just me. When all is done and dusted, I hope all involved learned a good lesson.
  14. Even more so when the person in question is a public figure. I try not to judge too harshly, especially considering some of the nonsense I partook in during my early 20s, but for me it doesnt change the fact that Holly was aware of the rules and she chose to break them. To me if she was given the quit or be fired option, she was lucky in that regard. Most dont get that option. Even at that age when we are called to account, we play it off so it doesnt sting as much, so we still look good in the eyes of our peers, but its part of the process of growing up. To quote one of my favorites "When you’ve done something wrong admit it and be sorry. No one in history has ever choked to death from swallowing their pride" But lets see what tonight reveals.
  15. She said she didnt have the time to get it inspected but she has plenty of time to argue with people on Twitter and more than enough time to sit on the couch and whine about relatives not coming to the wedding because she didnt invite them.
  16. Didnt she say that to Nathan or one of Nathans relatives?
  17. I know weddings are stressful but to me if a couple is fighting like that upto the night before, getting married isnt gonna solve it. I know Barb is upset that she wasnt allowed, but I get the impression that even if she was permitted to be there, tweedle-dee and tweedle dum (J&D) would have gone out of their way to make her feel unwanted.
  18. Not to mention their experiences during WW2. The whole purpose of the second honeymoon was to reconnect (if I remember correctly) and get to know each other again. Having deployed myself, no matter what capacity you serve in, you come back a changed person and it definately effects the relationships you had before.
  19. Didnt he also write nasty messages in the sand as well? 5 bucks says they magically make up 15 minutes before the wedding.
  20. I would consider having a child far more serious than marriage. But thats just me. Considering she makes more money, I bet she will end up paying child support.
  21. I think Kim's surrogate is due in January
  22. I cant help but feel that he will end up not sticking around. He could prove me wrong though.
