  1. Your perception is fine, your (and others) misrepresentation of her statement is where the issue lies. I would hazard a guess that consistent misrepresentation of her statements and her position by the internet may be a part of what fuels her to continue to comment.
  2. For anyone who cares to know what the article actually said, Rachel did not state that she was upset that she was not mentioned on the podcast. She was responding to comments that others made about the podcast and even stated that Chris has the right to express his viewpoint on the situation. Actual statement: “So I’m not going to speak too much to it. … Some people [have sent] support, you know, or like, ‘I don’t like the way that he addressed it … your name wasn’t mentioned.’ Which, when we talked about when this podcast was announced, I said, ‘He’s going to talk about how he feels, he’s not going to mention my name.’ Why would he? This is his opportunity to tell his side of it because he hasn’t before, which he totally has the right to do.” This is not a topic that has very much meat on its bones at this point, however, the continued misrepresentation of her thoughts and words in support of Chris Harrison is interesting.
  3. I have to say I appreciated Nancy's conversation with Bartise regarding abortion. So often the focus of the conversation is centered on whether the pregnancy is unwanted, but aborting due to known chromosomal abnormalities is not often brought to the forefront. Like Nancy, I work with people with developmental disabilities (I'm a social worker) and the quality of life that they and their families experience varies tremendously. Bartise's flippant "I'm strong enough to handle some challenges" very likely gave Nancy a ton of insight into his understanding of the subject and his likelihood to really LISTEN to her. Nancy does this work every.single.day. She might have some thoughts worth listening to, Bartise! It would be a lot more difficult than grinning and bearing it. With that being said, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities can lead lives as wonderful as anyone else, but it's certainly not always without unexpected significant support from their loved ones and insurance systems. It's absolutely something that you would need to discuss further and to be as mentally/financially prepared for as possible. This is not a conversation that I can recall seeing on television before, but once again, much appreciated!
  4. Just dropping in to question whether my eyes have deceived me. I SWEAR that the therapist was the infamous Dr. Tiy-E from RHOA years ago. Please, please, please someone confirm or deny for me! I can't believe that people are still out here paying for that fool's assistance. A few RHOA clips that may help your memory. Side note - Remember when RHOA was GOOD?
  5. Which still makes the low-end of that range at 4 years from conception reasonable and that’s IF one is even in a position to have a child. If they’re single, it could be years before they find a partner and decide to have a child.
  6. In addition to that, he could have also realized it would be 4-6 years before the child even enters school between conception and kindergarten.
  7. Coming out of lurkdom because I NEED someone to back me up. I need confirmation that nan one hair was cut during that barber scene with Lucci, Marcus, and Rockstar. I'm sitting here watching this barber line up the air. Please tell me I'm not the only one that saw this!
  8. I'm rewatching the first episode of the first season and it is FUNNY TO ME to watch Sheree spend money just knowing that you was going to receive that "7 figure settlement." This woman has "creative directors," party planners, personal stylist talmbout she is fashion personified. This is especially funny in light of the fact that she has reportedly been fired again and got shaded on the reunion for always wearing sweatpants. The first six seasons of this show were truly gold. It's so sad to see how far its fallen.
  9. Yes, that is likely exactly what she thinks at this time. I'm the same age as Jackie and lost my boyfriend (who I expected to soon be my fiancé) very unexpectedly last year. I have yet to put away pictures of him or gifts from him, but will be moving soon and plan to box all of those keepsakes to take with me. Losing a partner can be difficult at any age. The special difficulty of losing that person in your 20s is that few people expect to feel "widowed" at that age and are expected to move on at some point. I have no idea what Jackie is doing on this show so soon after her partner's death (I can't imagine searching for a new partner), but I can imagine that a part of her choice to participate is to feel forced into moving on. We all know that moving on is inevitable and she may have chosen to jump into the pool rather than sticking her big toe in.
  10. I agree. I downright despise Synclaire in a manner that even I don't understand. I've enjoyed most "dumb" characters on television (Joey from Friends comes to mind), but Synclaire inspires a special kind of hatred for me as I rewatch the series on Hulu. I find nothing about her or her antics humorous.
  11. Enjoy :) http://www.tmz.com/2015/08/20/jenelle-evans-arrested-assaulting-fiance-girlfriend-glass/
  12. If I recall correctly, Leah tweeted that she had only had sex with 7 men when she was confronted by fans on Twitter. I believe this may have been somewhere around the time that the Corey divorce was airing, but I could be wrong. I tried to google it, but felt weird about having that in my search engine! EDITED: Ah, I found it! http://www.teenmomjunkies.com/teen-mom-2-2/leah-messer/stay-classy-jeremy/
  13. I watched the series in real time back in the day and am currently rewatching it. I've forgotten how truly unlikeable Amber was during this time, particularly in seasons two and three.
  14. Me, too! I was waiting and waiting and waiting only to tune in and its already done! What happened to Sur o'clock?
  15. I'm intrigued enough to watch the pilot as I'm a huge Breaking Bad fan and happened to grow up in Battle Creek. I certainly would have never thought a tv show would be based off my hometown, but I'd like to see what they plan on doing with it!
