  1. The bit about the driver apparently not having seen his ‘witness statement’ is very similar to a bit in this earlier Rolling Stone article about character witnesses for Majors — one said that hers was prewritten and not truthful, others hadn’t consented to release a statement: https://www.rollingstone.com/tv-movies/tv-movie-features/jonathan-majors-abuse-allegations-yale-1234781136/
  2. "Anyway, my Simmons spec -- the Monolith, which is powered by Darkforce energy, transported her to the Blue Area of the moon." I see two planet-or-moon objects in the sky where she is, though, which doesn't fit with that.
  3. "Did The Master get regeneration powers again somewhere down the line? Are we sure that Missy is a regeneration and not just a body he snatched?" He definitely regenerated in the same way as the Doctor to go from Jacobi to Simm. As he began body-snatching in the first place as a result of having no more regenerations left, the implication would seem to be that he was given a fresh regeneration cycle (as offered to him once, and later given to Matt Smith's Doctor), so she no longer needs to steal bodies.
  4. "I know you can say some dirty words on BBC shows for families, but I'm sure the "T" word isn't one of them." The word's generally pronounced with an 'ah' sound in Britain, so the production team would be less likely to think 'swot' sounds like it.
  5. "the Personal Space Show was just gross" Yeah, I mean, it's really more suited to BBC Three than BBC Two.
  6. "What was the motive of the parasites? As far as parasites go they seemed kind of decent." Between their explosive increase in numbers, their lack of moral boundaries in rewriting memories, and the way they really, really want the blast doors open, I doubt their lifecycle was going anywhere good....
  7. Rotten Tomatoes works by dividing reviews into good and bad, and summing how many of each there were. So it's possible for a movie to get a low score not so much because anyone thinks it's particularly bad, but more because no-one actually likes it. That seems to be part of what's happening here.
  8. "Her origin is very simple (she's an Inhuman shapeshifter), and she doesn't have to be a fan of Carol's per se. She could simply be one of the legions of post-Avengers superhero fans (the group that hangs out in front of Avengers Tower) who discovered she had powers." She's already a general superhero fan in the comic (this is a girl who told Wolverine about how popular a fanfic she wrote starring him was, after all). It'd be a shame losing the specificity of Carol being her favourite, but she could still work very well. (Sorry about the bad quoting, my browser doesn't show me the proper tools even in a full reply view.)
  9. I think it's just meant to be a crowded set of character images, not placing them in any sort of spatial relationship. The SHIELD side of the image has a bit of a size=rank thing going on.
  10. Another of Steve's girlfriends from the comics, Bernie Rosenthal, was also Steve's neighbour, so giving that to Sharon even as a cover story also suggests she's an intended love interest.
  11. Peggy and Sharon looked very similar in the comics, and their secret-agent work was also more similar, so the films have reduced the ickiness there already. Sharon was Peggy's younger sister in the 60s, when that timeline made sense, she's been changed to her niece (and should probably be her grand-niece, yes). When SHIELD appears in films, it'd be nice to see a quick cameo from Agents characters who don't really need any explanation for people who don't watch the show.
  12. "Even if I had never seen BB, I would have known he wasn't going to die that day in the desert." CUT TO: Chuck, fighting desperately with his electromagnetic sensitivity, makes a phone call. "I've got some bad news about your twin brother Jimmy, Saul...."
  13. In "Face My Enemy", he gets Hunter to do some rewiring work under his instructions, saying that the words aren't his only problem.
  14. Guardians of the Galaxy says that Peter Quill's alien half is something little known, in a setting where the Kree are common -- so if Skye's linked to the Kree, they can't really be the same thing.
  15. It's the actor playing Ward who's saying this, though, and I've noticed a strong tendency in interviews with actors to view their own characters from a very sympathetic standpoint -- comes of needing to get inside the character's head to play them, I guess, but often seems to lack perspective.
