I'm pulling for Jordan as well. I think he's been the most consistent and has had some great makeups (plus he's cute as a button). I do like Matt but the judges's hard-on for him is making me hope he goes down in flames. Nothing personal, just don't enjoy seeing a coronation before the actual finals.

I realized it last week that that is where I saw DJ before. Bubba is smart to bring him as he is really good. He's one of the few from the show that I would actually get a tattoo from. Tommy being the other one :)

What a pleasant surprise! I went into the episode convinced that Helen would win (especially after last week's manipulations) but then she is first out! *Cue happy dance* And then Dmitry wins! He is one of my all-time favorites (if not favorite) of PR designers so I was rooting for him the whole time. Never thought he would win but so glad he did. I did think it was deserving as his was the most cohesive and some of the pieces were stunners (the "pot leaf" dress - so visually striking).

Tyra is what got Keith the win, no doubt in my mind. I think that may have been the most predictable finale in ANTM history. No surprise that the final 3 were all males and no surprise that Keith won. It did crack me up how the judges were bending over backwards to justify Adam being in the final 3. Yes, we are going to judge you on your entire body of work but will only consider the 3 photoshoots that Adam did halfway decent in. Highlight for me was Matthew. He looked hot on that runway!

Totally agree. So pretty! I also think he's hilarious. Dmitry has always been bitchy (even in his original season) but his delivery just makes me laugh. So dry, I love it! Like a few others, seeing Helen at the runway with that stupid crown, I immediately thought Wallis Simpson.

This. That's why I get so frustrated with the judges. Tyra gets on Shei because apparently you couldn't see the product (even though only her arm was in front of it) but then half the backpack is blocked by Keith and he gets best photo. I know it's par for the course for this show but sometime I wish they wouldn't make it so obvious. And I still don't understand why Adam is still there.

I usually skip the recap episodes but I was missing Matthew so I watched the whole thing. Now I really miss Matthew. That was my takeaway as well.

I think the judges were being diplomatic since they were doing the critiques right in front of the canvases. That's the only reason I can think of to explain some of those comments. The show is a lot more palatable once I started ff'ing through all the sit around and bitch segments. Just show me the challenges and judging. I really don't need all the drama.

That's my thought as well. I thought Drew's were fantastic and seemed to be a part of the same world. That said, Dina was a very close second and definitely deserved the win. I thought her dark knight was especially good. The amount of detail she is able to get in her makeups is nothing short of amazing.

I agree that they were much better during their second run but rewatching them during their first run, it's amazing how big their egos are, even after they fuck up royally. And yes, Guido was adorable :)

Yesterday, I started rewatching TAR from the beginning so I'm about halfway through Season 1. I'd forgotten how full of shit Team Guido was, especially re: the airport incident. And the hubris, omigod, so full of themselves. I'm definitely looking forward to rewatching the ending again, knowing that they end up a full day behind the 1st & 2nd place teams and don't even get to finish. Schadenfreude at its finest. How come Rob & Brennan are rarely mentioned among the great teams? They worked so well together, hardly ever got flustered, were nice to everyone and are definitely one of the better looking teams to ever race (yes, I'm shallow). I think they are pretty awesome and it's been so much fun rewatching them.

Exactly what I was thinking. It's your own show, Tyra, you can do whatever the fuck you want to do so if you want to give a zero, give a fucking zero. I thought that too but realized when Adam is talking about the bruise, the shot of him saying it is from the reflection in the mirror, hence why it looks like the left cheek. I definitely thinks she wants Denzel near the end, otherwise, for drama's sake, she would have put him with Will during the commercial shoot instead of Matthew.

My guess is it really was just a peck on the lips and not the full-on makeout session that they would have you believe, hence no video. Denzel's beard - HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I don't think I have ever laughed this much during an ANTM episode. Every time I saw it I burst out laughing. I wore a fake mustache for Halloween one year and it looked more real than that thing.

It was 45. The other 45 go in 2 weeks. Akbar was cracking me up during Meagan's run. He was getting way too excited but it was cute to see. He has really loosened up compared to when he first started.

I really wish the promos hadn't spoiled the Rumbling Dice. I think it would have made it a lot more exciting if I didn't know it was coming. Still, it was a very impressive run and I would definitely take the "Weatherman" over the "Adonis" any day.
