  1. Great episode! Hopefully there will be fewer flashbacks .... I found them distracting (or at least the way they were presented distracting). Is the lost engagement ring forgotten? Did I miss something? How does Michaela explain not wearing it? I doubt she could afford to replace it. Will it come back to haunt them later? Or will it just never be mentioned again? That bathroom scene was just incredible! No words needed by Annalise - they would have ruined the moment. Do you think that the cop (Nate?) trusts Annalise? It appears that he has but doesn't that seem to be a pretty big leap? Do we really know where his wife is or what happened to her? She is in hospital, I think but was it explained why? or how long?
  2. Pre-race - learn how to drive a manual transmission even if you suck at it. Learn how to cope with a fear of the water. During the race, definitely read the clue and if whatever you are doing isn't working re-read it. Sleep when you can. Eat when you can. Always keep your clue and passport safe. Always ask where the nearest internet access is. Always double check the directions that a stranger gives you - get them to read the clue to see if they see if you are asking them the right thing.
  3. I wish we could see more of these two ... except that more screentime is often a dark foreboding (elimination) shadow. They seem to have a good attitude, look like they are enjoying themselves (and the locations), not to mention are quietly competent at the tasks.
  4. huh, three flight attendants this year, right? Shelly and Nici totally lost me with their attitudes on this one. Off the like-list for me. Can't believe the Dentists actually hit the like-list - damn them and their okay, we got our asses kicked attitude. Why can't the bad-guys stick to their roles! :) During the episode, I couldn't believe anyone would chose the wedding cake one over the set-up challenge but now I realise they wouldn't know what the cake looks like before they got there. The bikers really won me over when they took the icing bag with them - brilliant move! Love the dogs (sleeping, standing, trying to lick Phil - just want to smooch their faces), love Maya's "aah, nope, not yet" moment at the sandwich shop (and Ida's smile at it) and SurferGirl's "busy, can't talk now" moment when T&T (?) arrived (polite but to the point - and totally justified).
  5. I really wanted to root for Rex and Bob but they did seem disappointed that they weren't eliminated. Did they ever get the chair tested by the judge? That one attempt looked reasonably sturdy but did he get it tested or just decided it wouldn't pass and took it apart? I haven't seen Rex's twitter feed but I don't understand how they could edit in a six hour penalty without them quitting the challenges. hmmm, that is the fishy part! (yay - Hong Kong!) - I was wondering how they will handle the length of the penalty if they are catching the flight to HKG? Also, I figured they would have to wait out the penalty before getting their next clue ... is that how the original TAR handles it?
  6. I think if the cowboys have to be eliminated - riding off into the sunset is about as perfect way to do it as you can get. (oh, and I didn't laugh when Rachel fell but seriously, that is her third random faceplant - no one nearby, just woomph, down she goes.) (lurker from TWoP)
