  1. Was the car crash an ad for whatever kind of car they were driving? Going 80mph and both people come away with no injuries, not even scratches. I didn't think Savannah was all that crazy until I saw how she decorated her house. This show was dumb.
  2. The writing let this show down. This was one of those where nearly every conflict could've been solved by people actually having a 5 minute conversation about the issue.
  3. Yes and he was the main character in Warehouse 13 and Ted's brother in Better Off Ted (and he's been in a bunch of other stuff too).
  4. I guess I wasn't in the mood for this, pretty much didn't like anything but WU. But including the Paperless Post sketch, was this kind of a violent episode? It felt like half the sketches involved significant violence.
  5. This was a frustrating episode. They had decent ideas and Adam pushed them as much as he could to make them entertaining, but the writing didn't know how to make the premises very funny.
  6. I'm kind of surprised how little interest this seems to have gotten. It was a fun show, even if it got a bit too cute with coincidences at times.
  7. It feels like they're trying to bump Chloe Fineman up to a lead performer but it's just not there, and the only new person to make any impact the past few years is Sarah Sherman but her stuff is weird enough that it'll never be super popular. None of the new people have made any impact. The only one I remember the name of is Marcello and that's because I'm waiting to see if he'll ever do a joke that isn't just him speaking Spanish. Bowen and Kenan are the only ones that seem to be top tier right now where I like almost everything they do.
  8. I was more bothered by having Ava enter the room through the door on the opposite side when everybody was shooting in that direction. Then the other part that bothered me was their boss asking if they're impaired when he's the one that gave Ava a bottle of alcohol and told her to drink it. But aside from those 2 minor parts I liked it. It was kind of nice seeing people enjoying a party and that not causing some major issue.
  9. I watched it and then was surprised to find it here under "Comedies".
  10. Definitely can say there was no unearned happy ending with this one. I'd forgotten whatever Ymir lore there was before this so I kinda had no idea what was happening or why, but it was still interesting to watch. It felt like Mikasa wasn't written as fully as she should have been. She was important yet not, somehow. I'd probably have to rewatch the series several times to actually understand it, but I'd rather not do that to myself.

    Fair Play (2023)

Usually I don't like ambiguity in movies, but I wish they hadn't had the scene in the bathroom at the end so that it was more questionable how bad of a guy Luke was. Otherwise I guess it was ok? Two people who make each other miserable and don't do much of anything else isn't very interesting so I kept waiting for more.
  12. The first Matt Shatt sketch with Margot Robbie is great. They've brought him back twice(?) and haven't added anything to them that wasn't done better in the original.
  13. The show Ed with Tom Cavanaugh and Julie Bowen ran during the last seasons of Friends and has never even been on DVD and I don't think it's ever been on a streaming service (other than poor versions on YT) partly because of music rights issues. It was a fairly popular show too.
  14. I can't think of where they did this. Most of the recognizable songs to me were the original versions. I did find this interesting record of an auction for a song used in Friends: https://auctions.royaltyexchange.com/auctions/90s-rb-featured-in-sitcom-friends/
  15. This was the first episode I watched all the way through in a while rather than just individual sketches on YT and I remembered why I switched to doing that. It felt like every sketch was "Wouldn't it be funny if..." and they set up a situation but then forgot to add jokes beyond that. They missed adding to the Ridiculousness sketch where Rob Dyrdek has picked up this tic where he says "You know what I mean" about 40 times an episode. I once counted him saying it 7 times introducing a single clip.

    All Episodes Talk

I lived in Boston around 2000. I went to show someone on a map where I lived (near Fenway Park) and there were about 10 new buildings just on my block that hadn't been there.
  17. Didn't Ross get tenure? Not sure he could just take off when that was pretty much his whole goal once he started teaching.
  18. I'd rather see that than him in something like Chandler's Speedo.
  19. I lived in a condo made from an old bank building that still had the vault in my unit. They welded the locking mechanism so it couldn't lock but it allowed the door to be kept in its original condition aside from that. This episode was very light on any actual jokes, but I've found this show to not be extremely funny anyway. It's more cute and pleasant than laugh out loud.
  20. I like that episode since it's one of the few that have Chandler and Rachel paired so it feels a bit different.
  21. This is not a show to watch casually I guess since my feeling about the whole thing is: What? Maybe this would be better if I didn't watch it weekly and watched it all at once, but I had sort of the same feeling after a lot of the episodes. I got whiplash every time Flynne switched from "confused/sad/empathetic" Flynne to "I'm going to murder everyone" Flynne. The future fight scenes have all felt kind of silly, like they added them to just have some sort of action. The 2032 fights had more advanced tech in their fights than the 2100 fights did. In 2032 they're using advanced drones, guns that can shoot through brick walls, and handheld shockwave weapons, while in 2100 they're robots fighting hand to hand...
  22. I was distracted this whole episode after realizing the main story line is not set in the current day. The party was some time in the 90s and Toby was presumably 22 then as he was about to start med school, and he's only 41 in the main story. Aside from that, I'm not sure if I'll finish this. It's feeling like misery porn.
  23. I've enjoyed the scenes at the hospital too, at least the ones without the kids. The daughter and Claire Danes are so over the top hate-able that something has to be coming to change that. I liked that he said wtf I make $300k why are you acting like I'm poor?
  24. This is a much better show whenever they stay in the "present".
