  1. Yay, spoilers! Theoretically I'd love to remain unspoiled but when it comes down to it, I can't stay away. So is it confirmed that they are cannibals? I saw a few comments from the showrunners that they purposely didn't show that piece and that we need to wait to see what's really up with Terminus. I mean, I can't imagine it's anything different, just curious because I haven't been following.
  2. Haha - that was great. And the Long Winter was my absolute favorite LHOTP book. Maybe that's what got my love of post apocalyptic fiction started ;)
  3. For me, the creepiest thing was Rick waking up at the hospital - just the scene with the dead flowers, the iv bags empty and the door blocked. I know there are scenes like that in tons of post apocalyptic horror shows, but it still gets me every time.
  4. I love Marceline - I don't always watch this show but I can't pass up episodes that she's in. Way cooler than Princess Bubblegum.
  5. Karate Kate, another huge fan of The Stand here, it's the one book I can read over and over. For TWD, I saw the previews and I figured that since I <3 post-apocalyptic fiction, this was must-see-tv for me and it far surpassed my expectations.
  6. Confirmation that my job is full of losers...no one in my entire group watches the Walking Dead. I said "claimed" when I went for my chair at the last department meeting and not one freaking person got it. A group of IT geeks and I'm the only that watches? Lame.
  7. He is definitely entertaining - that was one of the best tribal councils I've seen in awhile. I still don't want him to win, but I am interested in seeing what he does next. This. I hate myself a little whenever he's blabbing on and I'm thinking he's annoying and then all of a sudden I get distracted by his accent.
  8. Who would've thought brainless Trish would make the move of the game? I am not a fan, but that was a great move. I think they went with Jefra as second choice because Jeremiah was certain that LJ had an idol but Sarah wouldn't vote for Trish, they cut away after that part of the discussion but Jefra seemed like the logical progression. And can we just get a Woo/Spencer alliance?
  9. I watched from the very beginning - it is crazy when I think about the emotions that this show brought out of me in those first few seasons. The anger I felt at Stacy that first season and the shock at Gretchen getting voted out was part of the viewing experience. As were the recaps by Joanna and the forums at mbtv. Definitely a different reason for watching than today, which I guess is because it's something I can watch with my younger kids.
  10. When does this start? I had no idea they were doing another series until today, yay Jack & Chloe! And the original season recaps by Gustave are among my favorite recaps of all time.
  11. I'm happy to be over here - I was Milan23 over there but haven't posted in a few + years. Love this show and so happy with the finale and the fact that despite all my efforts I wasn't able to spoil myself for this episode.
  12. . Or more insane - I feel like his calm assuredness was the creepy air they were going for with the Governor when he first made his appearance, when in reality the gov just bugged. Maybe it was his "accent", but I was always just bored with him whereas this guy seems interesting in the glimpse we've seen.
  13. I totally agree Milaxx, I loved Rick this episode and I clapped like a big geek after the last line. Even though I'm sure someone will die early next season, it was nice that everyone (that we saw) stayed alive in this one.
  14. I miss Hershel too - I thought he was super annoying at first but I would say he was my favorite character at the time he died. The episode when he was taking care of all the sick and had to deal with the zombie prison riot was heartbreaking. I was also fascinated by Jim's decision not to take a gun, that he wanted to "be with his family" so he wanted to turn. But then I don't know if I read that somewhere or made it up.
  15. So looking forward to seeing this guy get voted out, but I am enjoying watching him so I hope he stays around awhile. The lies just roll off his tongue, it is totally entertaining to see how he's going to try to manipulate the other survivors..
