  1. "i saw you drop it" lmao daddy loves him some heavenly and i was giggling right along with eugene when he said that. i just want to give a shout-out to mason because that poor baby is just going through it on that schoolbus. he needs some peace and quiet at the end of a long school day and his classmates just don't understand! but i do though. i used to come home from work and sit in near silence for a hour afterwards. let mason decompress!
  2. i think this is because louie's character was bumped up to replace lucia. the writers never really managed to figure out what to do with oso once lucia disappeared, but shoehorning louie into the role was a much easier fix.
  3. got my fingers crossed for Leon and Wanda, but who knows. leon's got blood on his hands and he's also the reason for the slow destruction of his neighborhood. clearly, he's been tired and he's sad and weary of his own second in command who's selfish and reckless. i'm not saying that he's not allowed to have redemption -- i've been rooting for him and his cooler head after the death of skully's daughter -- but it wouldn't surprise me if he's not allowed to have one. i think wanda will make out alright. i'm interested in seeing louie work with teddy now that the relationship has been severed from franklin, on both ends. and i'm especially interested to see how they'll work together after franklin pulled a gun on her. louie is just as ruthless as franklin but, in a way, i think that's planted a seed in her mind against teddy. louie is good at forecasting and seems to be good at reading people (manboy, skully, kane). i'd like to see if she thinks she can get both jerome and herself out of this, alive. i think there will be major loss and i'm sure i'm not alone here. as for franklin... i'm sorry, but franklin blaming this new war on louie was the dumbest thing that came out of his mouth in a long time. last week when he told teddy he was done, i laughed. like lmao you really think you're done? you legit now? the fact is that the money was never his; it was the government's. the money always belonged to the government. even if louie didn't exist and franklin had no one jockeying for leadership, this was his natural end. good luck to him next season.
  4. pretty sure my neighbors heard me yelling, "Damn!" every time someone got shot whether by a bullet or a tranquilizing dart. this episode was wholly unexpected and had my heart racing. gonna need a rewatch before this week's episode.
  5. happy to see wanda doing her best to stay clean. i want her to win. can i just say that i love skully's soundtrack? the dedication to pumping early house music while quoting old testament scripture, or whatever he's feeling that day, is just the biggest mindfuck and i love it, even though the character scares the hell out of me. i thought he was going to leave the life after last season, but it appears he's still here. louie was right about him on one thing: he does stay in his lane. he may go nuclear regarding being lied to, but he's loud about it, so least you know who you're dealing with. skully clearly practices transparency. i'm curious about the little rock connection and hope that won't get lost this season.
  6. ...did she think she should have been the winner? because i object.
  7. lmao nah her house is the standard within the houston suburbs. on the outside, they aren't that indicative of your socioeconomic status (your neighborhood, on the other hand...) --- it's amazing that i don't think i've paid attention to a single thing coral designed all season, yet her collection was the one that captivated me. i especially liked the macrame pieces with leather -- that got my attention. i am 100% hell bent for leather and liked the contrasting textures. chasity's collection... as soon as i saw that bodysuit, I thought 'the rap girlies are gonna be knocking down her door.' you can't tell me that megan thee stallion or saweetie won't be in a chasity outfit by the end of the year. tommy hilfiger was right on the money with her designs being for celebrities and that's not a bad niche to be in. shantall's collection disappointed me. i actually like a lot of her clothes during the season (that black dress made from plastic straws? my god), but this collection was too retro and matchy-matchy and those earrings did not help. the first time i saw the woven snake textile was great, second time was nice, third , fourth, fifth okay enough. that being said, i understand why she won. kristina had nice prints and i liked how flowy her fabrics were. the hoverboard thing would have worked if the model's dress was made of lighter fabric. instead, it sat on her like a sack and thus, the gimmick was just that, a gimmick. edit: just remembered how much i hated the footwear kristina chose for her collection. square-toed shoes will never be okay, no matter how many times the fashion gods try to shove them down our throats every 15 years!
  8. as someone who does not wear hoodies for all the reasons the seller laid out (i also used to wrap my hair before pulling a hoodie on, but eventually just phased them out of my wardrobe altogether), i was happy to see a satin-lined hoodie and also surprised that it took this long for one to be on the market. i echo y'all in saying that the product will be knocked off in no time, but i applaud the seller getting a deal. i tuned out of the rest of the episode as soon as i heard $12 for a loaf of bread. get out of here
  9. youtube has caught onto me and now 90DF HEA is in my alogrithim, which means I'm back. unfortunately. god dammit. the family libby: boring and contrived. angela and michael: again, why is angela afforded so many passes by tlc? she's a bully who think she's cuter than she is, and production laps it up. i applaud her for taking some major steps to get her health in order, but unless she cuts out the cigarettes and stops overindulging in heavy foods, it'll all be for naught. this is not a game and she has shown herself to not have much discipline. tiffany and ronald: echoing @BravoAddict72 in that i also find tiffany very pretty. she's one of the naturally pretty ladies in the franchise, imo (up there with kalani and kolini). that being said, meeting ronald was a mistake. getting attached to him for 18 years was a mistake. i understand not wanting to live in south africa after an extended visit, but those are decisions you make before babies are introduced. if ronald gets to the u.s., i'll be very surprised. like michael, i don't see this marriage actually going anywhere. i hope mah boy is doing well. brandon and julia: again, brandon is a fucking twerp and damned if the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. the bloom on julia is falling off, but she has dreams and aspirations and honestly, being an event planner for weddings is an attainable dream. what does brandon have? girl get that green card and run after two years. do not let him get you get pregnant. jovi and yara: meh. also fairly boring to me, but in this case it's a good thing. i actually think they're well-suited for one another and their personalities match. they should get off the show after this season and live happily.
  10. i don't get to watch the show anymore, so i follow it primarily through psychology in seattle and honestly? that's probably a good thing since brandon's a fucking twerp.
  11. she's looking a little uh...corspe-esque in a two of them.
  12. Yazan is a massive hypocrite and I couldn't stand the way he talked to her. Unfortunately, Brittany doesn't know when to stop talking (also, that snap of her potentially outing him? 100% fucked up and not okay, ever.) whereas he does, so I feel like his behavior is being swept under the rug.
  13. I've always rolled my eyes at this couple and will continue to do so. I'm not even sure why they were together in the first place unless Yazan really thought he was going to make a Good Muslim Wife out of her. I'm not saying that sex workers can't make good wives (there's zero correlation there), I'm just saying that Brittany ain't the one and he knew that. Was this a front for Brittany to get her name out there? This whole thing was a farce.
  14. jess' breasts look no different than that of any other large-breasted woman. large breasts are heavy, so they droop. perky boobs typically belong to people who either: 1: have small busts to begin with (like, less than a C-cup) or 2: went under the knife. expecting anything D and above (and she is D and above) to defy gravity comes with a hella supportive bra and/or a very good surgeon. signed, someone with barely a C-cup whose ex was a G-cup (we were in our early 20s, they drooped. nothing she could do about it)
  15. i hope this culminates in karine securing a some good paying gigs and earning enough money to get her + the kids the hell away from paul
  16. i pray that i never be as selfish and self-serving as jenny. i only got caught up on the show due to an all-day marathon but wow....their 4-month backstory? she's lucky momma didn't break her foot off in both jenny *and* sumit's ass. mentally, she's like a 20 year old.
  17. mom: why can't you tell the truth? brittnay: because...i'm into deep and i'm just trying to keep up above in my head (and Yazan's), instead of going under
  18. they've never been harassed by the DuoLingo owl and it shows
  19. we're looking for a hooptie model with hooptie prices, ma'am
  20. i'm so sad that i can't snark in real time with y'all anymore! consequences of cutting the cord (not ready to commit to live tv again just yet). hopefully i can catch up when tonight's episodes become, uh, "available"
