  1. I found the listing for the houses from season 2: https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/702-710-Blue-Water-Hwy-Freeport-TX-77541/2060199750_zpid/ They're selling all 3 houses together for $2.4 million. It says in the description that they are the houses from HGTV's Battle on the Beach
  2. I think they may be these houses: https://www.google.com/maps/place/703+Bluewater+Hwy,+Surfside+Beach,+TX+77541/@28.958482,-95.2873469,2267m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x86406cdb480f1f0f:0x325f28cacef623a8!8m2!3d28.958482!4d-95.2785922!5m1!1e4 I noticed the street view has a for sale sign out front too. I haven't been able to find them on any real estate sites though. I was looking to see how much HGTV paid for the houses.
  3. I see the gold condo is still for sale for $134,000. Not sold for whatever they said on the show. They sure created two ugly houses last night.
  4. I like this show. I enjoy the mom, she seems like she'd be fun to hang out with. And I like the way they do their renovations. The final decor, I think is generally too much, but it's not like it is attached to the house. I also like their visits to local artists. And I usually hate that part of any show. I also want to visit the cat cafe and pet all the cats.
  5. I question the water-proofing job they did in the basement in Decatur. That was a very wet wall, and it looked like all they did was paint that waterproofing paint on it. With that much moisture, I'd have thought they would need to do a weeping system outside the house.
  6. I found the addresses for both houses: Drew's house is 22106 Deaf P Smith Dr,Galveston, TX 77554 Jonathan's is 21915 Guadalupe,Galveston, TX 77554 Just for anyone who is curious.
  7. That laundry nook was weird. If ever a 'room' called for a barn-door, that did. And instead they put one on the bathroom. And I can see that they couldn't put barn-doors on both, that would look bad next to each other. But I think a bathroom should be able to be locked, or at least shut tight, and you can't do that with a barn-door. And don't you know, "Vegas buyers need a dining table" - and they hung a huge light fixture over that tiny little table, just to make it harder for a buyer to skip a table.
  8. So Jonathan won. I wasn't at all surprised. He had higher ceilings and those pocket doors. Everything else was about the same, unless the homeowner who gets the back house also gets exclusive use of any backyard space. And Drew's fireplace was non-functioning I think. It looked like he put candles in it, so it was really just taking up space no matter how "cool" the 4-sided aspect was. I think I'd take something off the value of Jonathan's house for the fact he painted all that trim black; I hate black trim and it's going to be such a pain to paint it white. But maybe the future homeowners will like it.
