  1. Except you don't cover a receding hairline by letting it grow in the back. Not that the front isn't messy, but the back is what's really out of control. He's got a very photogenic and expressive face, it's almost like he's deliberately downplaying it.
  2. LOL ? Both Kensi and Deeks need to sue their hairdressers (assuming Deeks even has one.)
  3. Andrea Bordeaux used to be a power lifter. She has an incredible physique, and superb posture.
  4. Some people really want to have a family. Deeks is one such person. Kensi may not be, whether she's physically capable of bearing a child or not. But even if Kensi can't carry his baby, there's this amazing thing known as adoption. Perfect for couples who want a family but can't conceive or carry to term children of their own. There are many options open to them that they could discuss. However, if one wants a family but the other doesn't, that's not a situation that lends itself to compromise. If they want different things from life, they are better off breaking up now before they get in any deeper.
  5. I really like Hidoko, and Mosely wasn't bad in this episode. But as for the rest, ITA.
  6. Do you mean Marsha Thomason (played Nicole Deschamps) ? I'm not sure if that was in the second episode, but it was early in the season.
  7. In Rude Awakenings, Sam spends most of the episode trying to prevent "Quinn" from being called back undercover. He tries to drown CIA Agent Snyder (Sabatino's partner, the one who gets shot in Wanted) because Snyder has been cavalier about Michele's safety. In Wanted, he breaks out of jail to interfere in an already planned operation, to protect her. In Descent, he again tries to prevent Quinn from getting involved by pointing out that they don't know if Sidorov made Michele; Granger has to point out to Sam that the mission comes before any agent's individual safety. In Ascension, Sam breaks out of the hospital, but when he finally catches up to Sidorov on the hotel roof, he can't take the shot (even though he had backup from Kensi) until Deeks charges through the door and shoots Sidorov's assistant. Yes, very cucumber-like.
  8. Same could be said for Sam, who already is an agent.
  9. Don't worry, no matter how often Monty appears, I doubt he'll have a lot of lines.?
  10. Plus, Rick Tunell did not write these episodes. He directed 901, which was written by Harimoto.
  11. Yeah, you and about 10,000 other people. That prediction has been going around fandom since last fall.
  12. He's asked her or at least brought up the subject 3 times that I can think of (plus the time when she was in a coma, which I'm not counting), and she's always put him off or changed the subject. He's the one who should be tired of waiting for her.
  13. But who was it that detected the hidden room where Michele was being held? Oh yeah, that was Deeks. Not so crummy after all.
  14. They were supposed to do a Deeks goes back to LAPD arc in season 5, but when DR got pregnant, they cancelled it and gave us Afghanistan instead. ECO said in an interview earlier this season that the LAPD return was part of the original plan for this season, but he didn't know if it was going to happen (this was in the context of DR's maternity leave in season 8). I think this will eventually lead to Deeks becoming a full-time agent, and yes it's been ridiculously long. They should have just gone ahead telling Deeks' story whether Kensi was there or not, especially in season 5 before they were together.
  15. My bad, I meant to say introduced at the end of season 1 and joined the show full time in season 2. I stand by everything else in my original post.
  16. They introduced Deeks at the end of season 2. The advantage of introducing a character late in the season is that they have the entire hiatus to adjust how the new character fits in with the existing cast, figure out the character's voice, maybe assess fan reaction before the next season's arcs are all planned out and half the eps are in the can.
  17. Seems like a lot of baseless speculation from haters. The production calendar shows ECO on vacation this week, something they would certainly not note on their schedule if he were in fact gone for good.
  18. I think "Uncaged" may refer to Tahir Khaled breaking out of prison. The finale appears to be a two-parter centered on Sam.
  19. I don't think Deeks is in jail, there was a behind the scenes pic of Deeks in the car (the Audi I think) with Nell.
  20. Maybe Sam and Callen are the ones getting engaged! ?
  21. I would love it if Sam's life change is a positive one. I don't have any particular desire to see more of Aiden, but if Michele were to join the team I would be thrilled. But I'm not holding my breath. I partially agree with you about the IA storyline. It hasn't gone on nearly as long as the interminable (and still not finished) mole arc, but it is still unfinished in that we don't know exactly what happened when Deeks killed Boyle. There are so many different interpretations in fandom of what's been said about it that we'll probably need a flashback to get a clear understanding. And even then, there will be different interpretations.
  22. Okay, I misinterpreted what you said. I've just seen the attitude I described so many times that I had a reflex reaction. My apologies.
  23. If Deeks can't convince a court that the shooting was justifiable, then he's risking life in prison, or even the death penalty (it's still on the books in the state of California.). What I don't understand is how fans can criticize Deeks and condemn him for shooting Boyle to save Tiffany, but some of those same fans go all shippy when he shoots Sullivan to save Kensi. Apparently killing to save someone's life is murder, unless it's Kensi's life, and then it's true love.
