  1. Maybe most people at the network had no problem with it, but maybe some higher up was made aware of it at the last minute and had zero tolerance for it.
  2. The Bates would have no say in this. They don't decide what goes on the air or not, the network does. They could decide to not renwew their contract, but they have no say in what's already filmed.
  3. I think this documentary will be good and interesting only if they've uncovered new information. If it's just stuff that's already known by the snarkers, there won't be any point to it. It would only be interesting for people who barely know who the Duggars and IFLB are. That might actually be their targeted audience.
  4. That sounds an awful lot like religion. To atheist me, I think that humans invented God to explain the unexplained. I think that one of the reasons they don't want their kids to believe in Santa or the Tooth fairy is because the kids might question if God is real. Once they found out Santa is not real, they could question other beliefs. Anyway that's just my uneducated theory.
  5. I really liked the two journalists in the documentary. I was a little disturbed by the cop's excitement about being in a shootout in the middle of a residential area.
  6. Just a thought, but I would guess that most people that Jill encounters are very suspicious of CPS. So I don't think most of them would report them.
  7. Let's just say he belongs in the same group as Kevin Sorbo, Scott Baio, Candace Cameron, Melissa Joan Hart...
  8. I think that guy might run because Jill can't stop herself from making everything public.
  9. It's funny to me how Jill teases/announces that she'll make an announment on a certain day instead of just telling her news. It's like she thinks she's in her own TV show. She's obviously doing this for her "audience". Or maybe everyone does this? I'm not on SM and I have nothing to announce so I have no idea how these things work.
  10. How would an inmate be able to contact Crystal Ball Lady? How would they even know about her? I don’t see an inmate wasting their phone calls on her, even on a contraband phone. I think that an employee would make more sense as an informant, not that I think she actually has one. To be honest, I don’t think anyone at the prison gives a shit about the Duggars. Most of them probably don’t know who they are.
  11. I don't believe a word this woman says. She's totally making stuff up.
  12. We will never know why just is the way he is. Was he born like that or was it soemething that developped because of his environment or experiences? That's another question that will never get answered. However, the way sexuality is considered in these religions can't possibly be healthy. The Duggars may have put some rules because of what Josh did, but there was plenty of srcewed up stuff to begin with.
  13. Does anyone know if the entire Cameron family are as religious as he is? I know Candace is, but how about their parents and other sisters? If I understand correctly, the family was NOT really religious before he met some girl (his wife?). How did he manage to get them into this? Edit: Oups forgot a word. And yes, I know he became an ass at the end of the show.
  14. I really don't think Josh prefers prison over being married to Anna. Nobody wants to be in prison. I don't think he's really in love with Anna and has much consideration for her. I think she's there to serve his needs. Maybe he will have the guts to divorce her after his sentence, but I doubt it. Unless, he finds someone else, Anna and his parents will be all he has left.
  15. I I have not watch it yet, but Doctor Mama Jones made a video about Jessa. She's OB/GYN youtuber.
  16. It's pretty funny that they neeed someone to stop them from cheating as if it's inevitable. If you go to Walmart alone, you will end up banging someone in the frozen section. But seriously, I think it's a way for the cheater to blame their partner. "It"s not my fault, you're the one who didn't stop me!"
  17. I agree it can be a real job. I've started watching a lot of youtubers during the pandemic and some of them make a living out of it. However, these people put a lot of thoughts and work into it. The Duggars just film their lives as if they were still on TLC. They're lucky they still have enough fan to make a buck. A lot of fundie do this beacuse it's the only job they are allowed to have besides some MLMs. The only time I saw Ben and Jessa have any (fake) enthusiam in their video was when they did someWalmart sponsored content. They must've received a big enough check to put some effort into their performances.
  18. Money. I think that's the only reason she does these videos. I don't think she actually enjoys doing them. It's the only way she can earn money since she doesn't want ot get a real job. Of course, I'm assuming that her YT channel is monetized. She has more than enough suscribers for it, but I'm not sure exactly how it works.
  19. She could've just said she found out she was pregnant last fall but she then miscarried in December. Instead, she decided to use what she had filmed about the happy news and end it on a cliffhanger! This is not must see TV. The whole thing was calculated to get attention. With what's going on in the US and their pro-life stand, she had to know she would get backlash.
  20. The Rods will never get swimming lessons because no instructor would let them swim with their clothes on. Actually, they would never get any legit lessons of anything because J&D would never let an outsider from their faith near their children. They don't want their little minds contaminated with evil thoughts and they don't want to get reported to CPS.
