  1. Even if that is the case, it still doesn't warrant, justify or explain why Candiace was so upset about it. It had nothing to do with Candiace. There are a million ways Candiace could have expressed her confusion or even doubts. She didn't have to aggressively go after Ashley over something that had nothing to do with her.
  2. Guys, I'm so confused by Kamie's apartment.
  3. Yeah, I'm feeling like the reunion is the dealbreaker. That she doubled down and alienated most of the rest of the cast. If she had had some kind of breakthrough at the reunion, they probably would have kept her.
  4. Yes, let's not forget Monique has (had?) a blog/business whose very name was Mom-shaming: "Not for Lazy Moms." She clearly prides herself on being an all-hands-on-deck mother. Which is fine, I guess, but her pride might be setting her up for burnout. Which might explain why she ends up driving drunk into trees sometimes. And I say this all as someone who generally likes Monique.
  5. So glad I'm not the only who thinks Leah has been gaslighting Ramona this season. Ramona is far from perfect, but it's like, you know who she is, so why do you keep trying to get approval from her that you're never going to get (and then getting angry at her for not giving it to you)? Leah has these insane demands for Ramona to validate her. Ramona is not your mother, Leah. Leave her alone.
  6. I haven't seen a single comment in this entire thread where anyone said that Memphis' "playing at the big boy table" comment - or even David's nomination - was racist. The only thing I've seen mentioned is that Memphis' group of targets included every person of color in the house. I don't think anyone used the word "racist" in regards to Memphis either, just that he was getting some skeptical side eye. Totally warranted, IMO. You can disagree, but it doesn't make others' opinions "the same old racist bullshit" just because it's not your personal viewpoint.
  7. "If it doesn't make sense, it's probably not true..." Yeah, that's part of what I love about reality shows - they kind of throw the wrench into people's usual MOs. Like, I am sure LVP never gets called out for her machinations in real life because she's simply able to turn her back on anyone who no longer kisses the royal ring. Or even someone like Erika Jayne has to be willing to continue hanging out with people whom she would normally stay away from. Suddenly these alphas with finely-honed ways of not getting called out on their shit have to face the pied piper of their cast-mates. It's fascinating to see how some of them self-destruct.
  8. Seriously. And it's so confusing because you'd think that someone who is so intent on controlling the narrative would be a way better liar at this point. Maybe she's just better at shutting things down in her real life, such that Denise never has to lie on the spot.
  9. I certainly don't love Ashley - and find her denial about Michael's clear guilt last year truly disturbing - but I will say that Candiace went beyond the pale last season in many ways. It's one thing to casually question your friend's attempts at pregnancy, or maybe throw some light shade behind her back, but the way Candiace went after Ashley for it - grilling her, getting upset over it, seemingly taking it personally - was just so out of left field and over the top. But then the real low was actually making fun of Ashley's speech about the miscarriage. Maybe my memory is selective, but I don't ever remember Ashley being so cruel towards someone. Messy as hell, yes, but not belligerent and cruel. The fact that Candiace shows no remorse for any of these actions if pretty outrageous.
  10. Yeah, God knows if there is one thing television is missing...it's not enough shows about white people!
  11. Weeellll, Sha'quan was also deep in denial. I mean, yeah, Deven was fucking with him, but at a certain point you need to be in reality about how someone is showing up in a relationship. The fact that Sha'Quan still wanted to be in a relationship with Deven after all that shows he's not exactly the best at making healthy choices - he just wanted to keep going back into an emotionally unavailable situation.
  12. I'm so glad I'm not the only one annoyed by Jeanette. She had to be deep in some pretty willful denial to "fall in love" with this young male model for 9 months (with no video confirmation of his identity and, oh yeah, a clearly female voice). Jeanette believed what she wanted to believe and then acted like the martyred victim when it blew up in her face. Also, how many times did Nev and Max have to explain that she didn't actually fall in love with a teenager? She simply couldn't comprehend that Derica had used a fake profile.
  13. Yeah, but it would have been all about how Bethenny is taking up for Tinsley, and Bethenny thinks Tinsley deserves a break, and Bethenny feels bad for Tinsley - it's always all about Bethenny all the time - even when she's pretending it's about other people... (can you tell I don't miss her haha)
  14. I think these women don't know how to let anything go, but I do understand their point that it's kind of disingenuous for Denise to be clutching her pearls when she has gone on national television talking about her sex life in very graphic terms. I'm sorry, her kids are going to know and hear about that. And for Denise to claim otherwise is nonsense. And Denise clearly has been more upset than she has let on. But, all that said, it is gross how the rest of the cast circles around her like sharks. Like, it's not that big of a deal?
  15. And, according to the Aftershow on Bravo.com, he sends dick pics to Logan on the sly - even more proof that the editors chose the entirely wrong group of newbies to focus on this season.
  16. Alas, it seems to have been wiped clean off the internet. Believe me, I looked for it!
  17. You're welcome - I agree, it is an amazing podcast. Yes, SUP was created from the fallout of that split. Yeah, from what I understand, the male host of the old podcast (I think it was called "Pumped") became friends with several of the cast members and started refusing to make fun of them/criticize them on the podcast - even though that was the original premise of the podcast - and he always took their sides in whatever argument was happening on the show - and Lara (the female host) finally called him out on it on an actual episode, and it was literally the last episode they ever recorded.
  18. Do you ever listen to "Sexy Unique Podcast?" They went deep into the Schwartz baby talk in last week's episode.
  19. I'm not sure this show has ever asked us to love it for its economic realism.
  20. This is why I am convinced that James and Raquel's arrival wasn't planned with production. No way would she show up looking like that if she knew cameras would be there. Also, she and James didn't sound mic'd.
  21. Unfortunately, she was sanctimonious even when she was drunk.
  22. The show has always been a slow burner - which is part of what I loved about it - but it also gave us an ongoing flow of new information and continually built its stories over time. In particular, the Jimmy/Chuck relationship helped keep things moving forward at a steady rate. For many of us, the show has now hit a point where it feels like it's simply treading water. We're getting the same information over and over, the stories really aren't going anywhere. In my (valid) opinion, the show isn't doing what it's always done in terms of storytelling. It's hit a standstill. If we're only getting 8 episodes this season, then we're 2/3 of the way through, and honestly it feels like we're pretty much in the same place we were in episode 1.
  23. I kind of feel bad for Chandler but am also in the camp that the dude was lying. I mean, he knew he was pretending to win a contest that he didn't actually win. On some level, you have to know that if you're forking over money in secret, helping someone hide assets and pretending to be something you're not (with $1,000,000 on the line) that you're doing something shady. I think it's naive at best for him to maintain that he was some innocent victim in all of this. That aside, are we just accepting Frank's claim that Ma Colombo was the informant? What about Robin's claim that it was Frank? What happened to that? Why would Frank rat out his own mother? Something seemed off to me about the final revelation.
