  1. Not just cut his dick off - but cut his dick off and then hand it to Monica! What in the gruesome, "Lord of the Flies" nonsense is this...?
  2. Not a woman, but Emile from BD (the one who wanted Rocky) is also on OF.
  3. Exactly. How Garcelle is sailing through this with supposedly clean hands is beyond me. She completely minimized what Sutton said last year by making it seem like something of Crystal's invention, which, we all saw, is fundamentally not true. And also? Where is Sutton coming from with, "You keep doing this to me!" When did it happen the first time? If we're talking about Crystal's alleged "pattern" of making up lies behind about people behind their backs, that never happened last year. Crystal *did* feel violated by Sutton catching her naked, and she spoke to that very directly to Sutton's face - you can have an issue with Crystal's choice of the word "violated," but nothing about what happened fits this so-called pattern. This whole thing is such a clusterfuck. All I know is Sutton proclaiming, "I did nothing wrong!" doesn't sit well with me when we all saw that she did in fact display some incredibly embarrassing and ignorant white fragility that night.
  4. I have no judgments against pageants. It's just how seriously he seemed to take all of it. He spoke about it with a level of drama that just seemed a bit over the top.
  5. Wait, Romeo works in pageants? LOL, the way he spoke about inspiring women to be their best, I literally assumed him to be a social worker who helped women trying to build better lives for themselves.
  6. Oh, it's definitely more than immaturity. He cannot take responsibility for anything. He makes a mistake, and then, when someone points out his mistake, he immediately huffs about it (albeit usually under his breath) and somehow makes it their fault ("why did you wait until after I've done it to tell me...?"). His reaction to Ashley's (admittedly callous) behavior was frightening - the way he stalked her around the boat, wouldn't take no for an answer, called her a derogatory name. I mean, even his initial reaction to her not wanting to date a younger guy - dude, that is her prerogative - leave her alone, she doesn't owe you anything and it's not her problem if her taste in guys deflates your ego. I get that Tom has a softer side to him, he clearly cares a lot about people, he clearly wants to do a good job, and it's at least a good sign that he feels remorse for his behavior. But he has real unchecked rage - he's young still, it's only going to get worse as he gets older if he doesn't deal with it.
  7. I find Kyle quite attractive but I will say, yes, the reunion made me realize that his ears are in fact quite large! Also, that nose ring was not the look. Is he tall or short? I could never figure it out.
  8. I personally find Julia so creepy and unsettling to watch. Everything feels like a cultivated act with her. The flirtatious, giggly persona. The wacky farm life. Her obsession with her relationship with Martina. It all feels so pushed and forced, and it leads me to wonder who the real Julia might be.
  9. Yes to all of this - just because Tami has created an affluent lifestyle for herself doesn't mean that we don't - and she doesn't - live in a world of systemic racism. No one said that people of color aren't able to be successful or thrive in this world - obviously, that is not the case - she is speaking to, as she said, overarching systems of power that preclude a level playing field for everyone. Tami has a right to feel be upset if she feels she had to work that much harder to achieve her affluence, if she felt like she had to play certain games to get there (ie "stay in her lane") or simply on behalf of her fellow people of color who have not managed to thrive in a system that she feels is stacked against them. It's not as black-or-white (no pun intended) as people of color never getting to experience affluence.
  10. Yes, there is a lot I like about Tami - and I tend to feel that she gets a bad rap (both in 1993 and now) - but she was not willing to hear David at all. He is right that he is allowed to have his experience and that she was getting angry simply because they didn't mirror her own. Tami escalated that situation by accusing him of having a slave mentality, but then he escalated it further by purposefully harassing her. Don't even get me started on Beth S. looking for any window to chide David. This was an interesting episode because I felt bad for both David and Tami - and I was also super annoyed by both David and Tami.
  11. I literally said, "she's not usually malicious," which means, yes, there are times that she is in fact malicious. I also said Ramona is a monster. But neither of these things changes the fact that Kenya is also a monster. And just because Ramona happens to be unlikable doesn't make Kenya justified or somehow better in her own horrible behavior. And just like Ramona is an asshole who needs to be held accountable...so is Kenya. Going against someone equally unlikable doesn't make Kenya a hero in my book.
  12. Yes, yes, and YES! I found it so rich when Kenya was accusing Ramona of playing the victim when that is all Kenya ever does! Say what you will about Ramona (and there is a lot you can say), she's not manipulative in the same way as Kenya. Ramona will act like a total asshole, but that's just her unfiltered personality and it's not usually directed in a specifically malicious way. Kenya, on the other hand, is like a dog with a bone. She claims she gave Ramona a pass for the first offense on the plane, but it's not really true - she has taken every opportunity to dig and dig some more at Ramona, and then she acts all offended when Ramona fights back. Not to mention Kenya is also the one who showed up an hour late for dinner, helped herself to mac and cheese before anyone else, refused to apologize for it and then seemed to take active pleasure in it when her bff Cynthia was feeling excluded by the group at large. Remind me again how exactly Kenya is so much better than Ramona...? Also - how is it that Kenya can proudly proclaim, "I fight with my words!" but then she gets so heated and charged when Ramona simply says, "fuck you" to her? Kenya can call Ramona "a peasant," but Heaven forbid Ramona says the words "fuck you?" Kenya sucks. At least Ramona can be funny in her delusions.
  13. Paige & AndreazzzzzzzZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz............................. Wake me when it's time for "Summer House."
  14. Lisa seems sketchy, but Whitney and Heather seriously need to calm down with their "Lisa is the root of all evil" routine. I feel like Lisa can scarcely breather before their gossiping about it with everyone around them, determined that everyone hates Lisa as much as they do.
  15. I thought it was her passive aggressive way of letting the guest know that someone else was to blame for it - "I understand this isn't up to standards - meaning, someone else failed!" She's passing the buck without technically passing the buck. Heather and Fraser still seem like the exact same person to me - they're both so full themselves, so passive-aggressive and so unwilling to give anyone else any grace. "I would do it better" seems to be both of their subtextual mantra. Kate had some of this too, to be sure, but it was tempered with actual wisdom, expertise and even kindness, which made her much more tolerable (for me). I find both Heather and Fraser so unlikable.
  16. Frazer and Heather strike me as very similar to one another - two young kids who like to puff up their chests about their high standards, their impeccable attention to detail, their consummate professionalism, but it feels like they're both a bit full of hot air. Dial it down, children. You don't need to try so hard to prove you're good at your job. It's no wonder they will butt heads - they're male and female versions of each other, it seems.
  17. I think Kyle loves Amanda, but I agree that he can be an absolutely shitty boyfriend/fiancee/husband. That said, in the words of "Judge Judy," she picked him (and fought for him, and stayed with him), so she obviously has some investment in being in this difficult relationship.
  18. I actually have a huge soft spot for Kyle because I think he has a fundamentally good heart and he genuinely cares about people (plus, he's funny). But I think his drinking covers deep unresolved anger, and, like your ex, I think it's only going to get worse with time.
  19. I think Kyle is very good at separating work from partying, and I think he's equally intense about both. He's good at compartmentalizing, but I think the obsession with partying is very much real - and difficult to watch in a 40 year-old man.
  20. Andrea seemed very hammy and over-the-top to me, like he was trying way too hard to prove something. Maybe it was for the benefit of the cameras. Carl has said that he decided not to participate in Winter House because the Summer House episodes dealing with his brother's death would be airing while they filmed, and he was concerned that he might fall off that wagon if he were in that environment during an emotionally difficult time. In other words, he actually prioritized his sobriety over reality TV. I have a huge spot for Kyle, but he has a drinking problem, full stop. He is able to "manage" it much better than Carl did, but it's an issue, and I hope Amanda is paying serious attention.
  21. To be fair, many of the women (Lala, Kristen, Katie, Stassi) do too.
  22. Candiace also hit a new low even by Housewives standards when she outright mocked Ashley's sadness over her miscarriage. It is true that all the women throw shade, but there is a way that Candiace hits really far below the belt and then never wants to take any responsibility for it. It reminds me of how Jax would always proclaim, "You're not perfect either!" whenever someone tried to confront him about his atrocious behavior. Yes, none of them are perfect. But Candiace goes to a place that feels outright nasty a lot of times. No humor, no sly wink to the camera, just nasty.
  23. Interestingly enough, I saw Garrett and Josh of all people hanging out together in LA last week. They seemed very chummy, and they were literally taking pictures and videos of each other on their smart phones (lol). I will say both men are quite tall in real life. And Josh is just gorgeous.
  24. I think we see so many empty, feature-less homes because decorating costs money! And I think most of these women are either living beyond their means or they have very little financial room to spare. I would not be surprised at all if Candiace and Chris stretched their resources for the house. It's one thing to acquire the home, it's another thing entirely to furnish it in a tasteful, abundant way. I guess it all depends how much credit they have available (it's hard for me to imagine they live a cash-only lifestyle, though I would respect them if they did). My suspicion has been that this was the real turning point for Karen but she doesn't want to bring it up because it would continue to bring attention to an embarrassing moment in time not just for her, but more so for Ray. Though Gizelle keeps bringing it up anyway, so I wish Karen would simply own it.
  25. I think about Rocky's "New York scene veggie salad" with cocoa nibs (Oreos) crumbled on top at least a few times per week.
