  1. So......this just came to me, who's gonna take over the Frey's territory now? Does this mean Jon can now take Riverrun and the Frey bridge/castle?
  2. The thing is, I don't think Jon wants to be King. He just wants everyone to stop being stupid and fight for the North together once the Ice King comes. It just so happens that everyone wants him to be King, and he kind of has no choice about it if he wants to get everyone united.
  3. Our boy Jon maybe? Right until they realize they're practically aunt and nephew. :|
  4. Oh, I forgot to mention one more thing: Poor Uncle Benjen. Literally a dead man walking. I wasn't sure if he was considered actually dead, but that scene pretty much confirmed it.
  5. OK, I only just caught up with the episode due to time difference, and believe you me, it's been SO HARD not be spoiled! Anyways, before I read through all 7 pages of forum talk, here goes my thoughts on the epi overall: 1. Immediate thoughts on the the opening scene had a very "this is the start of the end" feel to it. Boy, was I sure proven right a few minutes later. 2. As per many have foreshadowed, the second Cersei's cousin's got stabbed in that tunnel, I knew that dragon fire was coming. (Poor Grandma Tyrell were my first thoughts) 3. I don't like Septa lady, but I actually feel sorry for her when I saw what Cersei had in store for her. Yikes, ain't karma a bitch. 4. Poor Tommen. Choosing the only way to get back at his mother...So I guess this was Cersei's self fulfilling prophesy fulfilled. 5. Geez, 7 named characters dead and we're only almost halfway through. Is this a new record? 6. Shallow note: Jon's man bun is really growing on me. I'm really lovin' it. 7. Awwwww, loved that scene between Dany and Tyrion. Now I just need Jon onboard her team and I'm a happy direpup. 8. OMG, I WAS NOT EXPECTING ARYA TO BE THE ONE THAT KILLED FREY! Mmmmmm, vengence. So tasty. And that expression of peace and serenity from her. So awesome. I wonder if she'll go find her brother now, or skip Winterfell, continue solo, and finish up with all those on her list like Ash with the Pokemons (Gotta catch em all!) 9. OMG, FINALLY the whole R+L=J is confirmed! I can die happy now. 10. OMG, I have so much love for brave and wise little Lady Bear. She's tres awesome too. 11. Wish I could slap/stab Little Finger. And I bet Sansa's wishing that too. 12. I hope Jamie realizes now how fucked he is, seeing Cersei up on that throne. Can't wait for Dany to kick her ass! 13. Woo, love those ships with dragon heads. And let the Great Games Begin! Well, this episode got 3 OMGs from me (I think this is the first time ever, usually it's WTFs.). Considering how this episode started, the ending almost made the future feel rather hopeful.
  6. I also thought of Buffy & Angel at that final scene. In fact, I was hoping I'd see her hand shoot out of that grave and Clare would be there to pull her out. :( And I did cry at the end when Ethan realized that the only way to save her, was end her life, but I was pissed that the entire final season was basically wasted with the whole cast getting separated for too long. If this were to be the final season, then we could have easily had the last 4 episodes of them coming together and fighting to save evil!Vanessa, which would lead to the finale of having the gang fight Vanessa, and both Dracula and Lucifer. And THEN end the series by destroying both villains (with Ethan's wolfy powers combined with her voodoo talk (or holy talk instead?)) and then having Vanessa finally die in Ethan's arms but both accepting their love of each other. I mean, if this was an end to a series, I would've worked around that idea instead of wasting it by having too much Lily (sorry, but I didn't care for her pseudo feminist monologues and sudden sorrow about having a daughter that was not mentioned all through the show until the last few episodes), overly long chasing scenes of Ethan in the dessert with that bald clown, unnecessary comic book Cat (I would've like to see Mr Lyle shoot a few vampires instead), and Vanessa going on one too many dates with Dracula. But yanno, that's just me.
  7. I just saw the trailer for the next epi and it showed Jon telling Sansa that they needed to trust each other now because she's gonna have so many enemies....So I'm guessing he'll be confronting her about the withholding of LF info....Which I don't blame him, really. And then it shows him kissing her head, and I'm reminded of someone upthread who had that thought about shipping Jon and Sansa? LOL.Well, that scene probably isn't going to help you move past that notion.
  8. Yeah, I just had to screen cap the awesomeness of Lady Bear giving Ramsey that look.
  9. This made me laugh out loud. Poor guy, but I know what you mean. Here's hoping he'll get some nice guy roles moving forward....
  10. I have a theory that the Lord of Light may be Bran From The Future......especially since it seems like he's able to communicate with people from the past....but....we'll see.
  11. I still think she should have told Jon and given him the benefit of allowing him make the choice of waiting a day or so for The Vale to arrive. I tend to disagree with the argument that she wasn't sure if LF was coming because the fact that she told Ramsey, You're going to die tomorrow, Lord Bolton. - means that she probably knew LF was likely coming to the rescue. It could have been a show of bravado, but I doubt it was so, coming from her. And if she intentionally withheld that information with the intent of letting Jon, Wun Wun and the rest of their allies run ahead to their deaths just so she can reclaim Winterfell, then that's just not cool, Sansa.
  12. Unless it's Cersei. Yes, Jamie, I'm looking at you!
  13. Like Arya, he needs to take some A Girl Has No Name classes. Sansa, on the other hand, seems to have mastered this skill very well. Overall thoughts: 1. Dany's dragon is such a badass, glad the other 2 broke free too! 2. Dany and Tyrion...hmm...not that it would happen, but if it ever came to it, they would certainly make for an interesting political marriage... 3. When Ramsay said, "I'm a man of mercy" - i shouted aloud, "Oh no you're not." :| (Just could not help myself) 4. Tormund's clueless look when Jon & Davos talk strategy. Heh. 5. You know, Sansa, if you told Jon about your plans, THAT might have delayed his decision to attack - although, then again, she may have allowed that to happen on purpose to make it easier for the Vale's troops...Hmm. Not sure...But I really don't like that she didn't tell Jon about it. 6. Felt bad for Davos finding that wooden toy stag. Probably will have some eventual payback for that. 7. I knew Rickon wouldn't make it but still felt sad to see that arrow go through him 8. Jon standing there against the cavalry coming at him and what followed was beautifully shot. 9. GO TORMUND! For eating Umber! Never has revenge cannibalism looked so good. 10. Every time an arrow shot Wun Wun, i shouted, NO! WUN WUN! - am still very depressed he's dead even though I knew it was coming. 11. It was a deserving end for Ramsay, although I wished someone would've cut his dick off, like what he did to Theon, fed it to his dogs first, and THEN throw the rest of him to them. Personally don't really like Sansa, but I was very happy for her at that moment.
  14. OK, I just watched the trailer for the next epi, and seems like Ethan is finally going back to Vanessa. But you know what? I'm kinda pissed at Ethan right now because it would seem to mean that one of the main reasons (Other than his Apache dad having a vision of Vanessa in trouble) he's going back to our lovely Vanessa now is only because that annoying bald-headed leotard-dressing clown was so rightfully shot dead. Like WTF Ethan? What happened to you? Sheesh, I really missed Season 2 Ethan....
