  1. Yeah this was the "Rebel Danny" character tipping point for me. This one was so simple, he blew it and still nothing was his fault: Wait 10 minutes for someone to go into the room with the victim (nope, can't wait, don't like the other guy, have to do it now), Take 5 minutes to make sure the lineup is done correctly (nope, can't, here's your number deal with it), follow three simple rules that you've followed a thousand times over the course of your career are like secondhand to you and that you know backwards and forwards or the case may be destroyed (nope, gonna do my own thing and make the entire rest of the PD, prosecutors, judge and court bow to my rebel will). And last, of course, pitch a hissy fit when you do everything against the book and the exact opposite of what you're supposed to do, blame everyone but yourself when it goes bad even though you were warned multiple times it was going to go bad then pout and yell because the world won't bend to your will and do things the way you say it should work. This is so ingrained in the character now I don't know if a change would be believable even if it would be welcomed. But seeing him really lose, really get knocked down a few pegs and, most important, acknowledge he screwed up and actually mean it AND have that contrition stick for more than one episode..................that's long overdue.
  2. Above quote is from the Moriah episode thread - wouldn't that be a bizarre kick in the ass (not ass-kicking that's different) ending for the boys? They spend half the final season figuring out that all the things they hunted before, all the good they've done in the "saving people hunting things" category has been unwound on them and in the end there's a snap and a flash of light and there they are, standing in Sam's college apartment with Dean saying Dad's on a hunting trip and he hasn't been home in awhile. They blink for a moment, one of them says they feel a weird deja vu then they shrug it off, Sam tells Jess he'll be back in a few days and out the door they go. Not saying I'd like that ending or that I'm advocating for it but since they obviously resurrected things going all the way back to S1 monsters and demons it is a weird full circle thing. But what a kick in the ass for the boys, doomed to unknowingly live the same crappy lives over and over (and over).
  3. The good - I laughed a lot in the first half, the whole truth thing was well done, I especially liked stapler lady and the boys interactions. Also Castiel's (Micha's) "What" was so well done. The return of things the brothers have killed was a nice twist although I think the Bloody Mary could have been done better either a different actor or the effects were off, not sure it just didn't look right compared to S1. Honestly I'd rather have seen a few more of those returning in different places and cut the zombie attack in the graveyard a little shorter even if it was setting up the cliffhanger. OK who else thought about Daryl Dixon showing up on his motorcycle as the zombies closed in? Can't Jack just be dead? They had to throw in that scene and hint at his return (again). He's a good actor but he's dragging things down. We are begging the writers, you have lot's and lot's of time to come up with an end game, the show didn't just get cancelled unexpectedly, there is time to plan. Please, please take Jared, Jensen, Mischa and the fans views into consideration and DON'T bog down S15 with an overly complicated arc that doesn't progress and depends on a lot of talking and angst week after week. Don't go out on a vague "you'll never know how it really ended" note like Angel did; case in point if the final scene of S14 in the graveyard were the final scene of the entire show! - Please don't do that. My one complaint - the final scene again - it was well done, suspenseful, leaves on a cliffhanger the whole deal but - why in the world didn't the guys just pick a direction and charge through one section of zombies weapons swinging? They have two cars waiting for them, go that way; don't wait for the horde to completely surround and out number you. Made for a good camera shot at the end but for them to stand there and wait to fight, win and live it didn't make much sense.
  4. The Roman Numeral for a million is an M with a line above it. We need primertimer to add a symbol to their like feature, something like: XM (with the line above it) just for posts like yours so we can indicate it is so awesome we like it times a million. For some posts one thumbs up just isn't enough!
  5. Reminds me of after France disapproved of our invasion of Iraq restaurants started using the term "Freedom Fries" instead of French Fries. French fries aren't a French invention (there are two theories where the word came from, one that French soldiers introduced them to US soldiers even though they originated in Belgium, the other that I think is more accurate that it's an old Irish term that roughly sounds like the word french and means "to cut into pieces") anyway - changing them to "freedom fries" had about as much to do with France as remove the word "Devil" from the eggs has to do with Satan. To Devil something means to cook or prepare it with a lot of hot spices, that's it. Oddly there are "Angel Eggs" but the term is used to mean they're not made in the spicy deviled tradition, it's an alternate recipe with less fat and cholesterol. Shit like this is why I couldn't start an on-line discussion with someone in England about classicism in British food in the early 1900's. We got flagged and deleted because there's a certain food we were discussing and we used the correct food name - to be nice I won't put it here but it starts with an F, as in F***ot and the word is now also a derogatory term for a homosexual person. It was a food before it was a slur, it was also a term for a cord of wood or a cigarette but we still couldn't use it in the discussion. Anyway before I digress to far just an observation that words can have multiple meanings that have nothing to do with the negative connotation AND it occurs to me if MeChelle was ever served that particular "F word" food and told the correct name of it we could enjoy watching her get the vapors then pass out cold.
  6. As others have explained double jeopardy doesn't apply because Madeline technically hasn't been found innocent yet. If this were real life I imagine that would drive a person crazy; whether guilty or innocent knowing at any moment they could decide they had more evidence to re-try you and police could just show up and arrest you. Like having a sword over your head 24/7. I really wish there was someone who would see Levi and Isabel together and clue him in; I still can't believe that much of what he says would be helpful or even admissible if she testified. The best they can hope for is what they got, a few clues to look for more evidence in other places. I really hope Heather is the killer just because it would be a waste to make her such an unlikable shrewish smug bully and have that just be her personality with no agenda or secret behind it. If it helps for those wondering about the Rosemary murder, Madeline as a suspect, where Bellows is going with it and the true killer:
  7. That's where the plot sort of got lost for me. I get that she didn't want the third but she and her husband talked about having it then increasing their contraception and they never mentioned the pill which we know is available now. Unless it was one of those infamous "aired in England but cut by PBS" scenes that I hate missing out on and that frequently help with the story. If not it should have been included even if it was just a one off sentence like I tried those pills you know how sick they made me or something. I just think it would have made her desperation to not have the third and the both of them discussing how to avoid a 4th or 5th easier to understand once the obvious option was off the table. Kudos to the makeup department though - the progression from blue under the eyes and pale lips when Jeannie was first in bed to blue lips when her husband couldn't wake her to darker blue and a tint extending down her chin in the ambulance was really subtly well done and realistic. Also I wonder how many younger viewers had trouble understanding why Trixie was having a five year old hair dryer repaired instead of just getting a new one. It's sort of a shame that these days we not only accept that five years is about the lifespan of a hand held dryer like that but also taking it to a repair shop (if you can find one) means the repair costs as much as just buying a new one.
  8. That explains a lot. I would have argued that there was an advantage to going the first task quickly in that you don't wear yourself down and take off for the airport hot, sweaty and dehydrated even if you would have the flight time to recover. But having to get to a second task makes their urgency more understandable. I was also having flashbacks to Caleb's collapse from heat stroke in Survivor Kaoh Rong after digging in the sand too long so I was hoping the clue was easy to find or they'd get it quickly before someone dropped (but that's just projecting there was probably no real danger of that happening). Finally got to watch the episode last night - Some teams I hate on principal like Rachel/Elissa, there is nothing in this world that will make me enjoy having whining crying dramatic Rachel on my TV screen, Eliza/Corinne I thought I could give or take until their mean girls intro; they can go anytime too. Colin does seem a little different but personally I don't know if I can buy that whole "I'm zen now" thing vs the fly off the handle temper tantrum bully I remember; I'm giving him a wait and see on that. On the like side I enjoyed Team Fun the first time around and I get that the bubbly cheer can wear after awhile but I still like watching them and they have a good attitude about the race. The rest I just don't know, some I remember some not but none jump out yet as hope they win or hope they're gone soon. I did enjoy the first episode though - I wanted to like Team Rupert, he's never bothered me but they do not seem to be cut out for this show. He does just fine on Survivor when he's in one place but if that's the urgency and skill he and Laura put into navigating they are not going to last. Wandering the streets (slowly), not trying to ask for directions, searching random places like wells that have no amazing flag logo on them but passing by the brightly lit and obvious inflated slide that would have taken them no more than two minutes to check out? Not a good start at all. I tend to think about random weird things when watching so I'm dying to know - in the shoe task they put the shoe's back each time so if a team already tried that shoe and another team asked for it did they clean the shoe or was the second team biting on a wooden shoe that already had another teams spit on it?!?
  9. My absolute favorite for browsing that I still quote when I'm shopping is Rodney Dangerfield in Easy Money (the browsing joke starts around the 1:30 mark but the beginning is funny too). I'm very sure Lauren has no clue about that movie or Rodney and her post was a nice try but if she's in the store she is definitely browsing or just looking. I suspect though that in that picture she's doing none of the above and the phrase she was looking for is "Posing for social media likes". I'd like to warm up to her a bit, bring things down to a normal snark level but to me everything she does comes across as drama queen or attention seeker and I can't get past that. Waiting for an announcement on their first baby (but second blessing) any day now.
  10. I'm trying to decide, and it's the only thing that makes me curious about watching through to the end (not that 5 more episodes is a terrible burden). Some shows you see the wrap up coming but not this plot line as far as I can tell. Either they win, their theory wins but one or both of them is shut out by the other science team or, they totally lose to another nominee. An outlier possibility, interesting but unlikely- they're forced to share the nomination with the other team and Sheldon bows out to let Amy be the third nominee. The interesting part for me is to Sheldon this is just an expected part of his career, his character has always believed he'd win a nobel prize it was just a matter of time so he doesn't see the nomination as a surprise and he fully expects to win. Losing would be a blow because even with the other team challenging them I don't think he really believes he can lose; stepping aside of his own free will would be huge growth arc for the character. At this point though I'm not sure the writers can or will come up with a unique resolution. It's like the Raj and Anu story which they seem to have just dropped; even though they had the whole season to plan an ending for each character they seem to be taking the easy way out no shakeups or twists. Maybe they're saving it for the last few episodes but the way they've been going I'm not going to get my hopes up.
  11. This memory is really vague, but they did it in one maybe two seasons where they had to run into the jungle find a station that had, not sure a riddle or a clue and remember it. Then go back then run to find the next station. That's not very specific I know, I can almost picture it but like I said vague memory. Anyway point is they did do that one maybe two times and you're right it would be a great challenge to bring back even if they update it a little. The stand and endure challenges are good within limits, too many of them make for a boring season. On the other hand I'm glad they seem to have done away with the "do you know your tribe mates" trivia challenge, that was always a boring one. My favorite challenge is the billiard balls in the metal roller coaster like contraption where they have to catch it at the bottom and put it back in, one handed, while adding more balls at certain points. No real reason I just find that one interesting. Also it plays into Jeff's love of saying "balls" multiple times in a challenge and all the double meanings he and we get from that. I'm missing something in the alliances or interactions - I can not get why they don't like and are focusing on Deven's - he won some immunity but he's not the most physical, he can talk but he's not the most cunning. Does he have a "resume" for winning if he makes F3? There must be something that makes him a threat and I'm just not seeing it. On the other hand just when Wardog looks like he'll last more than 30 seconds in any challenge even the insects are like nope, sorry, not for you.
  12. I loved Peggy's stained glass comment! Will's turning out to be a better singer than Timmy. Timmy is more focused on being a "showman" and attention. They missed a joke chance, maybe in a future episode, I'm sure if Peggy heard Tim's version of Holy, Holy she'd have a lot to say about traditional hymn singing and how alternate denominations that clap along and update the songs are wrong (her take would probably be along the lines of "hippy churches"). Joey missed out - the scalping money is nice and he is an opportunist so it's completely in character that he got and immediately sold the ticket. But I was at the Robert Plant Manic Nirvana concert with Jason Bonham on drums, it wasn't full Led Zeppelin and but he covered their songs and it was still awesome. Seeing them live in the 70's would have been 10x better - If Eddie kept his ticket he got the better end of that deal. I don't know where William got the theremin but I'm surprised his brothers haven't thrown it out the window by now - the sound is sort of like bagpipes, you either love it or hate it, no in between
  13. I could fill in fiction that he oversaw Clay's journey to the roof or helipad and supervised as he was put on the transport, maybe Clay was even conscious and Blackburn talked to and encouraged him until he was loaded on. That's the only way I can see him not filling in the team, that it all happened fast and he thought it was more important to stick with Clay until the last minute. Actually when they had the preview for this episode, since we could see that Jason & Ray were carrying the stretcher which left them out as possible victims; I was sure it was going to be Blackburn on the stretcher which could have either put Jason in charge or saw him losing the one buffer between him and the upper brass he seems to be pissing off regularly. The camera work after the first blast and as Clay was blown backward was very good but so dizzying it almost put me off balance watching it. Wondering if Clay ever changed his emergency contact info or will we see Stella getting a call and having to decide whether to go to Clay's side or break ties completely?
  14. I never hated Mary but I also didn't realize how I felt about the character until last night - I think the episode was supposed to tug at our hearts and make us gasp in horror and sympathy that the boys lost another parent and that Jack was involved. Instead the only thing I felt was curiosity, not even suspense just curious for one question; is she really dead. When the end came it was like "Oh guess she is truly dead, sucks for the actress being out of a job now oh well". Should have felt more but just didn't. As for Jack - I was on team Jack, wanted to like him wanted him to fit in with Sam and Dean maybe become the true third brother that Adam could/should have been. Sort of over that now, too much focus on Jack too much angst over his soul and powers it's sucking up the energy that should be going into Sam and Dean and even Cas with, if not a full focus on the two main characters at minimum a balanced story between the four. Somehow though our boys have taken the role of backseat babysitters in the Jack show. I have no spoilers so this is just me but my hope now is they DO kill Jack (really kill just like Mary is truly dead) at the end of the season or knowing next season is the last in the first few episodes of S15. My favorite choice for how to do this would be a deal where Jack gets Cas out of his deal by takes Cas' place in the empty. Clear off that little plot line and have Cas free and clear to stick with the boys to the end. I'd rather see the final be those three hunting and any story arc one that makes sense and focuses on them fully instead of sidelining them as mentors and babysitters to Jack and a bloated cast of extra hunters (mostly dead now anyway). Oh and Rowena and Bobby can stick around to the end too, Bobby because he's been there from the beginning and deserves it and Rowena because she's too much fun to get rid of.
  15. Hard to say what's really going on but it seemed like Julia was one of the quiet ones but also quietly stewing - she obviously was frustrated by parts of the game and how it was going and frustrated by some of the tribe mates and never really said anything about it at camp. So to me when she let go at tribal once it started she just completely let go and vented all the things she'd been holding back. Sort of "I always wanted to tell so and so off so here it comes". Seems like she can be tough and a leader when she needs to, too bad it all came out at once and at the completely wrong time. Agree about the episode title, we said the same thing! They fooled me with Aubry's face in the previews, I really thought from the discussions at camp she was going to be making the shocked faces because there were going to be multiple idols played that negated and changed the votes. Never saw batshit crazy last minute plotting and fighting coming - not that it wasn't fun to watch (we need a board vote, I'm on the side that seems to be the minority right now of it's OK to let the plotting go on at tribal even in whispers) Because he's useless. He looks muscular like he could be an immunity threat, but he can't throw a ball or balance on a beam or do pretty much anything. He talks to people like he's trying to play and plot but he always seems to go in the wrong direction with the most inane logic and is willing to change his vote at the drop of a hat. He's an unlikely goat. I loved David plopping down next to Kelly at tribal and just going "Hi" with that big smile. Gavin was a surprise immunity win, there may be something to him as long as he doesn't get over confident. STILL no front runner that I can find but at least finally, finally last night it seemed like everyone started actually playing the game! Any Frasier fans here? Finally figured out who Julie reminds me of - Frasiers unpleasant girlfriend, (ironically named Julia and played by Felicity Huffman) from Season 11 - she looks and sounds like her and sometimes her attitude comes across the same (not last nigh with the meltdown obviously)
  16. You're right, I missed typing one word....... "NOT" - can I chalk it up to early morning brain? (unlike the boys I definitely haven't been hit on the head lately!). I should have said Mary wasn't wrong to not lie to Jack when he asked her about what he did. Would have been easier to type "Mary wasn't wrong to tell Jack the truth" - I really should go edit that. :-)
  17. I didn't have a problem with Sam locking himself in the car, he'd been beaten in the head with a rock he should be disoriented and weak. Also he fell for the oldest fight trick in the book - when you have someone on the ground that someone is going to grope for anything and everything they can reach and hit you with it. Of course the boys have both been hit in the head enough times over the past 14 years (and likely before especially Dean since he kept hunting with Dad) that they should be the poster boys for CTE, PCS and any number of related issues. You'd think their brains would be scrambled eggs by now. Which they might be, it would explain the problem with Nick's resolution - Sam's refusal to just shoot him outright. After so many years and so many bad guys both human and not Sam STILL hesitates to kill. There was no reason for Sam to think there is anything redeemable about Nick or that he'd go off and live a normal happy life if he just saw the error of his was and still Sam can't just shoot; can't just "Take" a life if the person isn't coming at him to make it full on self-defense. Jack doesn't have any empathy, Sam has far too much. Mary wasn't wrong to not lie to Jack but like Sam she was wrong to make it black or white/live or die - I wonder how far she would have gotten with him if she had said yes Nick did deserve to die but he didn't necessarily deserve to die that way. If she said: It was wrong to torture him and hurt him first and to make the death a slow burn and we need to talk about how you can learn to balance these things and not act out of anger. That would have been much more truthful and by now they should be able to see one way that seems to get through to Jack is if you make him stop and think for a minute, he seems to respond better to that approach most of the time.
  18. I stopped underestimating the general public's stupidity (or maybe obliviousness is the better word) when I went into my local bookstore and saw they had put a table outside the bathroom area with a large, prominent sign to leave all un-purchased merchandise on the table and do not bring it into the restrooms. Honestly it never occurred to me until then that people would be likely to take a book or magazine in there, do their business then put it back on the shelf. Obviously though it happened enough that the store had to put up that table, I've seen them in other similar stores since then. Also it made me wonder about everything I'd touched over the years! But that's a public place where you don't even own the stuff yet - this is her house and certainly even if you're running behind or as disorganized as I sometimes suspect she is..........If it's the kids that are the problem her's are old enough to be told stop fooling around at the dinner table, finish your last few bites, I'm setting the timer anything left on the plate after that goes in the garbage and you're done until breakfast. Kids are resilient, they won't starve in one night and they'll learn for next time. If it's her though she just needs to get her shit together, be ready to feed them earlier in the night even if it means they eat before daddy get's home - I wouldn't put it past her to be so joined at the hip to Derrick that if he's out "studying" (I use that word loosely) late she'd make the kids wait to eat as a family until 7pm or something then run around to get two hyped up but overtired boys to bed at a semi-reasonable hour. But with either scenario those last few bits are just not so important that they need to be shoveled into the kids mouths while they're bathing!
  19. If she had just waited two minutes, enough to hear Lauren didn't smack her head going down or wasn't super dehydrated and didn't need to be evacuated which could have stopped the challenge anyway. She may have been desperate that she couldn't wait those two minutes or she'd fall (so not much of a "winner").........; it's an odd grey area of winning or losing a challenge vs. negotiating with an ally or friend vs. what she seemed to want which is just hand me the win because reasons. Things like that bring out the contrary in me, once she started I think I'd have been likely to get stubborn and refuse to budge just because I'd feel like I was being guilted into it by someone I owe nothing to and who owes me nothing Sort of like Margie and Luke arriving at the mat on Amazing Race - Margie said multiple times "I think I need water", she was wobbling and she said her fingers were frozen. They got it on camera but didn't do anything or rush the "You are team number" greeting until she went down. To give Phil credit on that though once she did go down he lept into action, supported her and helped medical. I wonder though was someone filming Lauren and ignoring the warnings or is there a dedicated camera on each person through the whole challenge so they can just edit in what they want to show later - otherwise it seems like if they have one or two guys going from person to person they risk missing a good moment. It brings up interesting questions on how the filming works, how much the contestants are monitored and what their cut off is on when to intercede (or when they know something bad is gong on). Anonymous Player #472 for the win! Seriously, there are a few people that are enjoyable to watch play, sort of, but not anyone I'm sure I'd want to see win (even from the players I like), no clear front runner and if there's a "winners edit" going on I'm not seeing it. I think the uneven wins messed things up in terms of the viewers getting to know the players and the players themselves learning to strategize, align and think long game early on so both we and they are playing catch up now and it makes a weird dynamic.
  20. I agree they might have one "bedroom" as an office in the current house forcing people to double up but that flyer isn't for their current house it's for a townhouse in Philly. Also agree with someone who said the bedrooms are going to be much smaller and storage will be an issue but all I could think when I saw it was the outside inconveniences those types of residences usually have...on street parking and no yard. I liked this as a season finale, so much wrapped up but just enough questions left and not in a cliffhanger way. Why is Kevin living on the East Coast and why has Toby never been to his house? (assumed because of Toby's comment on the house size). When did Kevin have his son and with who? And is he married or was it a surrogate or is he divorced with custody? Is Toby living on the East Coast too and if so why? Because in a previous episode he was in bed in what we assume to be his house, his poster was above the bed, when Randall called and said they wanted him there, he could have flown since they do have some unusual magical travel times in this show but they seemed to indicate he was living nearby. Who is the "they" that are coming with Jack? Is it one of the missing, which ones, who and where are the others? Especially Miguel (leaning towards he has died on that one) How did Nicky straighten out and get what looks like a family relationship that's become close? Looking forward to more of that mostly because I love Griffin Dunne! I can overlook some of the inconsistencies and making people a little too saintlike because I enjoy watching and do actually want to know the answers to these. Just hoping since they have an end date and a plan that they do actually wrap things up well and not mess with us. Also Mandy Moore's makeup at the end was awesome, she didn't look like she was layered in ten pounds of "old people" makeup, they didn't show her for very long but they seemed to have done it right. But Randall having to add "your son" was heartbreaking.
  21. Not to get too far off topic but Charlotte Stewart who played Miss Beadle could outdo just about everyone on this show except maybe Daryl. Search for her memoir........let's just say she had access to parties and all the mind alerting substances that went with them and she took full advantage of it plus a very free and easy sex life that included people like Jim Morrison (yes she means The Doors Jim Morrison). And she was homeless for a time. I imagine people like that who can hit bottom, survive and pull themselves back up could also be the ones to make a kick ass survivor in an apocalypse.
  22. An excellent episode as always although I'm not sure if they don't know what to do with Shelia or if the last couple episodes of the previous season, the Christmas special and this episode are supposed to highlight some sort of crossroads for her that is building towards something. They had me for a few minutes; I really thought they were going to kill the triplet. I think the two new Nun's will be OK but I'm going to miss Sister Winifred. Also missing Tom. I prefer to stay unspoiled so I can only say I'm hoping one or both of them come back before the season is over. I wonder how many viewers in the US went running for Google to look up Queen Elizabeth's kids? I'll raise my hand and say I did it even though I was sure they were talking about Andrew. Completely forgot Edward even exists, he seems to be the quiet one who doesn't make the news much.
  23. There was some good; there's always something good. Wasn't much though, for a finale it was a pretty boring trudging episode. I liked Judith's scolding of Neegan coming around "Your leg looks like shit"..."Language Miss Grimes". And when Lydia asked Carol to kill her Grandma Sigma (who is usually confused and only follows half the plot) turned to us and said she can't, it's winter and there's no flowers. And Jerry's attempt to rename Hilltop! The writers tried to build some suspense but after the pike-head massacre of last week there's no way we were going to believe anyone from the caravan except maybe, possibly a red-shirt or two was going to die. What was annoying and confusing was the timeline. The Kingdom was in disrepair, the balcony where Ezekial announced the start of the fair looked to be half gone and some of the buildings looked burnt when they left so we wonder how long has it been? Then we get that info from Zeke and Carol; Henry has been dead "a few months". So with no background or explanation we went in 2-3 months from a fair with precious resources being used to build booths and make freaking candy apples to a crumbling burnt infrastructure? Too bad they skipped over it because that could have been a pretty good story. Then it seems like another time jump without explanation - Alpha and Beta are there with no snow visible but the clue is she says they've had "time away". So again we're supposed to assume that a few months have passed and it's Spring I guess. There are always a few viewers that don't get that plot but you know a show is doing a bad job of making things clear or even slightly obvious when a majority of the people on boards like this or discussing an episode think that instead of a time jump that they just screwed up and the Whispers camp was magically snow free (which could still be the case who knows).
  24. Well I was rooting for Rick but didn't think he'd pull it off...... yet there he was. I'm sure the extra knots advantage helped but IDK I just like the guy, maybe he won't get much further but of the players and the people on EI he was the one I hoped would keep going. Reem please shut up - you're annoying anyway but just because you're on the jury doesn't mean you have standing to editorialize about the votes at tribal. You haven't been in the game for about two weeks and know nothing about what's going on with the tribes except what the latest vote off tells you. There could be alliances and idols you know nothing about and that the person voted off last doesn't know about either so please just sit there and shut up. Anyone know how the Survivor pay scale works now? Because in the past the scale was first person off gets about $3,500 - $4,000 but jury members can get in the tens of thousands range. Reem was first voted off but she's still in the game so it seems like she'd get more than just 1st vote pay for that. , Keith and Wendy left so would that maybe put Keith in the first voted off place and Wendy in second voted off place? Just wondering if the order of pay changes based on when the person actually leaves the game or enters the jury or if they completely changed the pay scale because the extinction island twist completely screws with the traditional first off to last person standing order.
  25. Just realized Helen is played by Markie Post - never, ever recognized her! Mad because the news story about a month ago about this episode made it sound like they were going to use Partridge Family scenes to make it look like Timmy was there with them at the time and I had been looking forward to that. Not that Danny wasn't funny, the little "in" lines and the Timmy in the well comment were great. Just missing what I'd been looking forward to because that article turned out to be a little off. Pat is fast becoming one of the funniest kids on the show and he does it with just one or two sentences. Also liked the continuity every time Eddie turned around right to the end of the episode he still had that bald spot in the back. But yes Lawrence you can get your own place - he's an adult and he's not going to college is he? Even if he is how come Eddie had to get a garbage man job but Lawrence doesn't seem to be doing anything at all? Hit in the head with clackers! Yes! That was really the only thing they could do consistently unless you were really, really (really) coordinated. And I hate to say it but I sympathize with Peggy, I plan my routes to make the least left turns possible especially if I know it's at a corner with no traffic lights (I call those unassisted lefts). I can manage them fine I just hate it and prefer to avoid it if possible.
