  1. Yes. If Robert Carlyle ever leaves the show, I'm done; however, that was one of the stupidest plot excuses. Ever. Kind of like a second adolescence, except this time her parents were along for the adventure.
  2. All green - good catch! If it hadn't been for Robert Carlyle, I couldn't have watched the episode at all. Too many characters, and the plot was the theatrical equivalent of 52 Pickup! I had to look up Nimue... unfortunately, now I have "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" in my head with "Nimue" instead of "Wimoweh" - arrrrgghh!
  3. The scenes with Merida & Rumple actually reminded me of The Princess Bride, e.g., sobering up a verrrrrry drunk Inigo so he can take revenge on the six-figured man, and helping a "mostly dead" Westley gain back his strength to fight the Prince. Too bad the writing lacked TPB's brilliant humor.
  4. I'll have to watch Peter Pan (not-so) Live on Hulu, I guess. I had to miss most of it Thursday. Christopher Walken was the best part of what I did see, next to the magnificent Kelli O'Hara. Thanks for the Buzzfeed link, XrystalPond. Now I understand the pink parasol in SNL's parody. I love watching him dance. Singing? Eh, 's ok. Re casting women to play Peter Pan: I'm not sure why this is such an issue. It used to be unseemly, if not downright immoral for a woman to act on the stage, so young men played women's roles. In opera, mezzo sopranos often sing "pants roles," in other words, young male characters, the idea being that their voices resemble barely-changed male voices. Convincing? No, but it sure beats the earlier, er, um, surgical option. From a developmental standpoint, Peter's role would be too demanding for a child to play without risking permanent vocal damage performance after performance, OK, I'll get off my soapbox now. :)
  5. Jonas is my favorite character this season, too. I miss Sarah Lancashire's Miss Audrey; I understand why she left, but with the exception of Jonas, it seems the grown-ups have left The Paradise in the hands of the worst cliques from middle school.
  6. I have mixed feelings about watching the miniseries. While I enjoyed the book, I'm not sure I want to see it on screen.
  7. Totally agree about naming the baby Neal - was hoping for Baelfire. I would have been delighted if they'd ended the season with that montage (definitely had that "finale" mood), but noooo...
  8. Granny needs her own story line! Anyone who raised Ruby is way overdue for an episode of her own!
  9. What the heck was that?! I found this episode as aggravatingly frustrating as last week's was satisfying.
  10. I'm glad Henry got the Book and his memories back. Love the shared heart. Still confused why Regina was knocked unconscious when Emma saved Henry.
