I loved when Ryan's mom said something along the lines of "Katharine competitive and do well because she's Chinese girl." and Ryan said, "Mom, you're only saying that because you're a Chinese girl." Bwhahaha!!! That kid cracks me up! Count me among the people who love Child Genius because it shows kids getting recognized for their intelligence and positive qualities, and not the bad, bratty or destructive behavior that kids portray on many other shows. I've been pleased to be able to watch this with my 8-year-old daughter, and she enjoys it too. Glad there will be a second season!
