Thank you Mamadrama and Buttercupia, I watched River over the last week and... just wow! I have a stone cold hard heart but this made me cry my eyes out.

    Chernobyl

Yes! I just watched the series over the last week or so finishing yesterday and I have that name stuck in my mind. Toptunov.
  3. Edit: I don't know if it works. Hope it is what you were looking for.
  4. Didn't one of the murdered girls bite Ashley's ear? wouldn't that make Ashley an accomplice/murderer too? Was this addressed at all? Who was Camille's father? She's a Preaker, does that mean that Adora married into the rich Preaker family? was she poor before that? was Marian aslo a Preaker? What about the maid? she knew EVERYTHING, right? Too many questions, I wish I never watched.
  5. GET YOUR BILLIONS BACK AMERICA! I'm going to miss this guy come Apr 15th.
  6. I bought an elliptical from someone on craigslist. It was either spend $6K on a brand new machine or risk $1.2K on a used machine. I took the risk, paid the $1.2K, plus $150 to have it delivered at home, used it 3 times and it died. The machine was in very good condition from what I could see but obviously there was something wrong with it. I contacted a repairman at a local gym and he said it was "the computer" and needed to order the part which is about $300 It's been about 2 years and I haven't gotten around to getting it fixed or even throwing it in the trash as it's just sitting there
  7. Striped Chips Ahoy, they've been discontinued for years and I still don't understand why they would keep us from such a delicious treat. Chocolate covered PayDay. Clearly Canadian. There's an effort going on to bring it back... https://www.clearlycanadian.com Jack In The Box had a sandwich called "Hot Ham and Cheese" I would pay big bucks to be able to have one again.
  8. My list in no particular order: Yes Sting (twice) The Police Stevie Nicks Fleetwood Mac (twice) REM INXS U2 (lots of times and hopefully more to come) Eagles (4 times) Heart Bon Jovi (too many times) Depeche Mode Madonna Santana I wanted to edit my original post but I couldn't figure it out.
  9. Congratulations Shannon L. 75 lbs. is quite an accomplishment, you should be proud of yourself especially for keeping it off. I would like to know how you did it if you are comfortable sharing. I always tell people that my life is very simple: I work and I eat; I have nothing else going on in my life. Having said that, my doctor seems to think I should be paying more attention to what I eat and how much I weigh so, I went back to the gym and started bringing lunch to work and it's made a great difference, down one pants size so far. I hope to lose 20 Lbs. before the end of the year and
  10. @Ramble I remember Ratt, I never saw them in concert though, but I am jealous of you seeing baby Bon Jovi! My list in no particular order: Yes Sting The Police Stevie Nicks Fleetwood Mac REM INXS U2 Eagles Heart Bon Jovi Depeche Mode Most of them I've seen multiple times; I wish I could've seen Michael Hutchence's INXS more than once, I LOVED THAT SHOW. I am jealous of whoever has seen: Eric Clapton The Rolling Stones U2 before ZOO TV Phil Collins but I'm bummed that Antibeespray didn't like him.
  11. You've Got Mail is about to start and I am going to watch it again probably for what's probably the 30th time.
  12. Word on Valerie Bertinelli, as much as I love the other 3 actresses in Hot in Cleveland, I just can't watch the show because of VB
  13. Funny, because I came in here to add Pierce Brosnan to my list.
  14. Sara Jessica Parker and her stupid screeching scream. Diane Keaton, what the hell is with all the turtlenecks indeed. Kate Hudson, even though I love "Almost Famous." I hope to get to live to be old enough for someone to redo that movie and pick an actress that I like. Cameron Diaz, I haven't seen all her movies but she seems to be the same person/character in the ones I've seen her in, like Jennifer Aniston, but I like Jennifer.
  15. The squirrel scene in Christmas Vacation. It never fails to make me laugh hysterically. I watch that movie every Christmas season.
  16. @Rick Kitchen, it was only a few weeks ago that I attempted Muriel's Wedding and that's what prompted me to start this thread. I can't explain it, I just can't stand the woman. I never watched the 6th Sense movies about dead people freak me out big time. I'm a chicken.
  17. I can't stand Rachel Bilson. I cringe every time I see her, I wish I could reach into the screen and wipe that eyeliner off her face for once and for all. Toni Colette, the only movie with her that I could sit through without giving up was About a Boy and it was probably because I can't resist Hugh Grant. Anyone else experiences these irrational feelings for someone we've never even met?
  18. Clive Owen Dermot Mulroney George Clooney Daniel Craig Jeremy Irons Ben Afleck Brad Pitt (before Angelina)
  19. I've been so good with the gym that I've just bought myself a pair of Bose noise-cancelling earphones. I hate the music at the gym so I'm sure these will allow me to concentrate a lot more in my workouts while enjoying MY kind of music. Yippieeee!
  20. Bertie Higgins - Key Largo Dolly Parton/Kenny Rogers - Islands in the stream Olivia Newton John - Magic, Physical, Hopelessly..., You're the one..., I Honestly..., Have you ever... Starland Vocal Band - Afternoon Delight Billy Vera & The Beaters - At this moment Abba - Dancing Queen Elton John & Kiki Dee - Don't go breaking my heart Andy Gibb - I just want to be your everything, (Our Love) Don't throw it all away I'm sure I have more in my iTunes, these are what I have in my phone.
  21. Notting Hill is my favorite movie. "It's as if I've taken love heroin, and now I can't ever have it again." *melts*
  22. I went back to the gym on July 1st., I have been very consistent, only missed one day; the gym is closed on Sundays. My program is very simple: 5K on the elliptical, 5-10 min. on a treadmill to cool down and I finish with some stretching. There are no classes at 6am which is the only time I can go. I am a routine creature and an accountant so, it's very important to me to be able to quantify what I do, so I am not comfortable using other equipment but I am going to give it a try, I'll probably reduce the elliptical to maybe 3km and then do some upper work. I have to be back at home
  23. Thanks BizBuzz, I thought it had something to do with Youtube. I could not find any good Hotel California Youtube video; The Eagles are very "delicate" about their product being freely appreciated by their audience. I recommend the History of The Eagles documentary if you are an Eagles fan, they show it every once in a while on Showtime (or maybe Encore?)
  24. The Eagles - Hotel California: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1971g_eagles-hotel-california_music The whole Slane Castle U2 concert is amazing, but I'm only posting this 2 song combo because it's a gem. All I Want Is You / Where The Streets Have No Name: I apologize, I can't seem to be able to embed the first video.
